That couscous would have been lovely with some pomegranate seeds mixed through, and you could bulk out the portion by adding butter beans to the tagine. Wet polenta would go well with it too, or butterbean mash. So many options for this
Hi Catherine, that’s what I was saying .. I did look for a pomegranate or the seeds in the supermarket but there was none 🥲🏠 Not a fan of polenta .. butter bean mash is so good 😊
Hi Tracy and Colin. 🥰 This meal looked fab on the plate, your presentation was great. The cous cous went very well with it and the coleslaw added texture. You both really enjoyed this dish, 😋 the scores were great. So beef brisket next time. Thanks for this vlog, we enjoyed it very much. 🤓🐶🧔
@@TracyandColinTheFoodies Hi Tracy and Colin. So glad you enjoyed the meal. Yes, hats off ti Sainsbury's. Beef brisket, we'll see. We loved it, thanks. 🤓🐶🧔
Definitely one to try. This lamb tagine looks so delicious. Would also serve it with couscous as it compliments the lamb. Makes a nice change from potatoes. Would be even better if it’s reduced with a nectar card ! Xx ❤
Hi guys ! That lamb tagine looked good used to cook one myself years ago . Tip , I used to cook the couscous in a steamer above the tagine , flavour then permeated the couscous . And now the elephant in the room , I should have seen it coming , yes the coleslaw , what a gesture and you two are legends for bivung me a mention . Great stuff . PS my kids got me a real tagine pot , but I’m scared to use it in case it breaks . You know the one , it’s everywhere , orange , yellow stripes .
Hi Alan, oh that sounds fab 😋😋 Haha 😛 we thought it only right 😂😂 Oh I’d say use it , they obviously knew you’d love it 😂 just be very careful 😂❤️ is it a le creuset..?
@@TracyandColinTheFoodies no I’d never lift it , I’ve girl several le Creuset frying pans and Dutch oven ,all two hands and bend at knees . No it’s a Lakeland one , ubiquitous . Most kitchens have one gathering dust . Still must give it a try , I remember using lamb , and okra , along with chickpeas and harissa paste .
😂😂 they are heavy items , I wouldn’t be able to lift any of them now 🥲 Oh I’ve not seen the Lakeland one … I’m blind 😂 Sounds delicious Alan - give it a try ❤️
Lamb Tagine is something I have never tried. I do love lamb as long as it's not fatty and also like spicy food so this maybe a meal I would like. Colin, eat your coleslaw 😆 Its good for you. 😂
