In the lore of the game, drumstick was the #1 racer on the island until wizpig put a curse on him (via turning him into a frog) I guess it wasn't wrong on some level
Ah, Drumstick. Based on the intro of the game, I thought you were the best character in the game. Boy, was I wrong when I learned how you really work; slightly better than Krunch, but still bad in my book. You, sir, are a master at this game.
I play this game as a child with my little brother. We NEVER got the complete amulet. I only found out from this video that there was another world in space. Great video
Nope. Those sites listing the stats are actually wrong, and even the instruction booklet is wrong on that. I've done massive testing on the characters to know that. Just because the stats are listed by the developers at the website as well as the instruction booklet doesn't necessarily mean they're accurate. Sometimes it's best to test them yourself to see if it's as accurate as they say.
@@William5000000 so is this like, our favorite game or something? Because I dont know many people that would do something like that. But I mean good job for going that far it's pretty impressive. will say though that I will believe you when you say that drumsticks handling is that. But I strongly disagree with you saying that TT's handling is a 2. He controls like butter but I mean you did do the tests.
One of my favorite games, yes. Thank you. I practiced heavily with Drumstick. T.T. actually shares the same handling as Timber, Conker, and Bumper. Handling of those characters is slightly below average (2.5), based on my testing.
@@William5000000 so I actually have a question. What were you to use as a measure If you were testing stats. Is one of the characters accurate and you just used them as a base?
Well, while I was practicing and doing playthroughs of this game, I did notice something very strange. During the race against the triceratops each time with a different character, I noticed the handling of Bumper, Conker, and Timber were strangely the same. That's when I decided to do some testing with the stats because I had a feeling the ones listed at the website as well as the ones on the instruction booklet were inaccurate. The way I tested the stats is through emulator and adding a 2nd controller input. Then, in every one of my tests, I chose Ancient Lake for 1 versus 1. I also used the speedometer for the top speed differences. And immediately, I noticed the acceleration difference between Bumper, Conker, and Timber. While the acceleration of Bumper and Conker is exactly the same, Timber's acceleration is average, making it slightly better than those two and being equal to Diddy's acceleration. And by then, I was convinced that the stats listed on the website and instruction booklet were inaccurate. From then on, I tested the characters in every way I could think of (top speed, handling, acceleration, bananas for the top speed of Pipsy and Tiptup, et cetera). I even tested T.T.'s handling during the race against the triceratops. And sure enough, I got the results. So, yeah, I did a LOT of testing on the characters.
My recommendation is to get a feel on how handling works for each character in this game. Lightweight characters: For a beginner experience, start with Pipsy on her handling, get a feel on how she handles. From there, go with Tiptup on his handling, get a feel on how he handles. You should be able to tell the difference between Pipsy and Tiptup. Middleweight characters: For a balanced experience, start with Diddy Kong. From there, go with Conker/Bumper/Timber, and T.T. (if he is unlocked). You should be able to tell the difference between Diddy, Conker/Bumper/Timber, and T.T. (if he is unlocked). Heavyweight characters: For an advanced experience, start with Banjo. From there, go with Drumstick (if he is unlocked), and then go with Krunch. You should be able to tell the difference between Banjo, Drumstick (if he is unlocked), and Krunch. To summarize, Pipsy is the easiest character to control, and Krunch is the hardest character to control. Once you get a feel on the characters from lightest to heaviest, you should be able to understand better on how handling works in this game.

No wonder Wizpig had to turn Drumstick into a frog!
Even more weird, you have to stump on him to unleash Drumstick from his curse

I love how Adventure 1 starts off real easy and gets ridiculously tough by the end. I can't imagine how Adventure 2 is.

I came here after hearing that King Chicken is a new racer in Crash Team Racing Nitro Fueled
That's so fake

CPU T.T. in the race?!! NANI?!!
Yeah, once you unlock T.T. or Drumstick, they'll start appearing in the races as CPUs.
Roosters don’t cluck
I unlocked him on accident. I just ran over the weird frog. I didn't know that's how you unlock him.
I still can't believe his name is Drumstick, that's speciesist JK
I wonder what the bananas are for?
The description will tell you.
10 bananas gives you the ability to go faster
Who's better overall, Drumstick or Banjo?
Excluding T.T., it would be Drumstick.
Also did you know if you rapidly tap the button you go faster than you would holding it down
I knew that. I uploaded a video about that back in the year 2011.
