I can't understand your explanation. From your lips to the microphone to the recording through the internet to my computer, etc. And, let's not forget my hearing. I can hear the horn, and it sounds beautiful. Is this B flat instrument? E flat? And, did you call it a "British-Sale baritone?" What about the mouthpiece... smaller than my ordinary baritone mouthpiece? Thanks.
hello, this might be a silly question but I can't seem to find an answer. Do the baritone and turmpet share the same fingering ? for example, all valves open can produce a concert Bb flat pitch on trumpet, so is that the same forbaritone ? thanks
David, Would a British style baritone have a darker, smoother tone quality than my Yamaha 301? I use Denis Wick SM4 and SM4U mouthpieces. Am thinking of getting a JP Sterling 373S. Thank you, Bob
Are baritones popular? Everyone ive talked to doesnt know what it is. Also, can you go to like a music college for baritone, like do they let baritones in? I want to do baritone in college but i dont know if they allow it.
They are not popular in the U.S. but are quite popular in England. I doubt any U.S. college would recommend (or offer) a major on this little instrument.

Yes, it is in B-flat. See this article for more: www.dwerden.com/eu-articles-bareuph.cfm

Yup, they do.
That's it exactly when you are reading a treble clef baritone part. Same for euphonium, as well, if the instrument only has 3 valves.
@@dwerden alright cool thanks

Yes, I would think it would be darker. Yours has a much smaller bore and somewhat smaller bell for starters.
