I have been a fan of the Polaroid Now instant film camera by Polaroid for a long time now, so when they announced news of the all new Polaroid Go instant camera, I had to share it with you! The Polaroid Go instant film camera from Polaroid is set to be the world's smallest instant film camera ever! In this video I go over some of the most popular features of this camera as well as how to use it and take photos. I also show some of the first results that I have gotten with this instant film camera from Polaroid. Let me know in the comments what you think about this all new camera.

Thanks, very helpful. My Go is currently in transit and you've eased some of the buyer's remorse I've been feeling since I ordered it.
How is it?
2 year update?
Glad I saw this video. Now I know why my pics are coming out bad. Thanks for info. Thought I wanted my money for a second there. Gotta get the lighting situation corrected.
Glad to see your video and review of this awesome little camera, I have one and love it however in good lighting conditions I see the photos kind of washed out, could it be a bad batch of film or is that the characteristics of this film. I do like that it gives it a retro look to the photos
I got one as a gift. I haven’t used it yet. Thanks for the info on it.
The focus is fixed from 90 cm to infinity, no half press autofocus. There are two apertures and then the shutter speed takes care of the rest.
Would you recommend this over the Kodak mini shot 2?
Should I get this or the Instax Mini 11 camera bundle
Very good video thanks!
I like how the go looks like a spectra the same way the now looks like a one step
Thank you for the review. It dosen't seem for me that I am going to buy the polaroid go cause of the size of the picture XD
I think the photos mine takes are very dark. I’ve tried all scenarios with lighting. So I picked up more film today from Target and realized after I opened it, that the film was expired. So now I’m wondering if the first batch of film I bought at the same Target was also expired.
Also, I'm suspecting the go film is identical to a 600 film in terms of chemistry, for easier manufacturing.
The film counter indicator is blinking and it does not turn on when I unplug the camera. Do you think I should return it?
those are some quality pics
Great video
I had no idea it was that small!!! Thank you Lol
Is it possible to find black and white film for this small camera go?
Thank you!!!!❤
heya!Thanx for the introduction! I bought this model. i ll start using it the next days.. Do i have t keep the film in the fridge for better quality result?
No, you can store it in the fridge if you plan on using it a long time from now, like years from now, but it is fine at room temperature for regular use.
thanks!
So now I have a question; is there a Polaroid that takes the photo but then has the ability to connect to your phone and load that photo, then allow you to edit it and then let you print it out as a Polaroid photo? If not, seeing my aim here, what is the ideal setup to do this? Perhaps a 6x4 printer that fits in your pocket that’s actually professional in quality of the image that comes out.
Could you please take a picture of something that's actually receiving some light?
So I have a few instant cameras and having the polaroid s600 which I love and the fujifilm instant mini 8 which i have a few of them and love them. Now I need one of these to add to my collection. I love the instant cameras
That’s awesome! Sounds like your collection is off to a great start!
@@NReluctant yea it all started when I got the 600 polaroid from a thrift store. Then I got the instamini 8 or 9 they make new ones every year. Then I got into 35mm with my best friend and I saw this polaroid go camera at target and I wanted to look at reviews and yours came up. Now since u did the review I want to get one but also get my best friend one.
How? The string
It is the mini me version of the larger one.
Soooo if I’m outside taking photos, how would I go about letting them process? Or if I’m just not in my house out and about and I can’t sit somewhere for 15 mins to let them process, what should I do in those situations?
Just put them in a pocket or somewhere shielded from the light until they develop.
@@NReluctant okay thank you
Nice review but you should've gave us more examples of photos the examples you gave us were not that good, give us a larger variety in different lighting's with different subjects so we can make a better decision please.
I have a lot more videos planned for this camera but right now the film is sold out and impossible to get ahold of. As soon as the film is back in stock expect a ton more videos on this camera! 🙂
What is de prise
Did you use flash for your selfie?
Yes 🙂
@@NReluctant love your videos btw!!
@@irinalynch5764 thank you so much for watching! 📸😁

Despite being smaller the film still costs the same. Anyone else think that sucks ass? Literally less material to make these cartridges and film, and it’s just as expensive. 😑
You get double the amount of shots and they've had to invest a lot of money in specialised machines to make the new size
@@mattdyer9544 Why didn’t they invest in actually fitting 10 photos in one cartridge? And work on making the colours better and have them develop quicker instead of making smaller images?
@@therestorationofdrwho1865 agreed Fuji is killing it in the color/sharpness/processing time. Polaroid is riding that name and aesthetic but they have to make the film better if they want to avoid the original Polaroids downfall
@@holladaycubed They only made the smaller film to compete with Fuji. That’s it. I want the photos to develop faster. Also with Fuji, you can heat them up over a heater or blow dryer and they develop in seconds and the colours don’t shift. With Polaroids the colours shift, and still take longer. They should focus on making the images process quicker and not have to need to cover them for a while to prevent damaging the images, or at least fit 10 images in one cartridge………
@@therestorationofdrwho1865 the new impossible film is thicker so that's why they can only fit 8. They had to develop the film partly from scratch, that's why it's not as good as it used to. I don't mind waiting as this is part of the fun for me.
The picture is too small for the cost. Imo
I like the big one. 😅
Show some good photos u took one that Polaroid go … it’s been a disaster for me and waste of a lot of money. Most pics are dark , some come out looking ruined…. I know it needs light but ….NM😭
yeah, the camera and photos are expensive and look like sh!t! Instax is better but it doesn't have a timer on it.
My daughter asked me for one of these for her birthday. I dont mind paying the price of the camera but $40 per 16 photos. I don't think so. That's ridiculous.
It's a good way to teach her not to be wasteful
❤
This Polaroid go camera is not working properly. The film is developing black, does anyone know why? Or is it me?
That should not be happening, definitely contact Polaroid because they will be able to help you.
Y is the Pic quality trash? It looks old, instax looks way better
Polaroids back then looked like trash too. Whats your point? Want quality? Buy a digital camera.
@@TuLokotron2010 frr you right man
Bro saying that the whole point of polaroid is to be old
It looks so cute but I wish the film was bigger…
I understand that, this focuses more on how portable it can be 🙂
uhhhh you missed the whole point then
UGhhh... then it sounds like you need to look at the full format Polaroid camera's 🤣🤣🤣and not the "Go" which is designed to be cute & compact (you know, tiny) on purpose.
You might want to go with Instax. They're the same width but slightly taller ✌🏼
Yo i just bought this camera and every picture I take is dark. Like everyone. Trash!
Basically a toy
would anyone say the Polaroid Go creates photos that are kinda of vintage/old school or not at all? cuz I want a instant camera that creates photos with that kinda vibe thanks
Every film camera creates pictures that look oldschool. It's just the nature of the beast.
