Mallard, being one of the most fast locomotive and being first place in this race just surprises me every time I watch this.

Overall, Mallard is my favourite, but sparrowhawk in royal blue livery is stunning. btw I saw Mallard, Sir Nigel Gresely (in pieces for maintenance, and Union of South Africa at the NRM.
Andy Einstman Sir Nigel Greseley is the best in my opinion. But they are all AWSOME and beautiful. It's just unlikely that Mallard will run again in the near future, it's just shot to blazes and Unions on its last year before its 'stuffed and mounted'.

the LNER only had 35 A4 pacifics built! one (4469 "Gadwall") was destroyed by WWII bombings.

That many A4s together is a beautiful thing... interesting to nite that Union of South Africa was originally named Osprey... thus the game devs have kind of put the same loco in twice lol
