If you're looking for a diy power hammer, this is the design for you. It is a small power hammer that is compact and yet still takes advantage of the mass of your anvil. Although my plans do not cover how to make a power hammer step by step, it does have specific measurements and diagrams, as well as some general instructions.
The homemade blacksmith power hammer is rising in popularity, as the price of owning a manufactured power hammer has risen. That's why resources such as a power hammer pdf is such an important key to helping blacksmiths build their own tooling.

Hi Roy thanks for the hardy hammer plans I have a question regarding the anvil that the hardy hammer attaches to does it have to be 250 ish pounds or could you use a smaller anvil and use a heavy base to compensate and make up for the missing weight as the anvil you're using in the video looks rather large
