LOL I just bought the 2020 A Spec after watching endless reviews and test driving it. Gotta say, your review was the most enlightening, least boring and definitely the happiest. Thanks!
My wife just got one, and I love this thing. Im so glad we decide to stop at the Acura dealer before heading to the Lexus one. I the sport feeling of this SUV
Nice review. This is one of my finalists for next purchase. I currently have an Acura MDX with 305,000 miles and only issue was a radiator replacement at 200,000 miles. Besides, the normal brakes, rotors, spark plugs, oil and wipers, it has been flawless!!
I have a 2008 with the SH-AWD. Running all seasons tires in the Northeast and never a problem with the weather. I can’t say enough how amazing it has been. I do the maintenance with changing plugs, oil, brakes and brake fluid. I did replace the timing chain at 200,000 miles but it was running with no issue. Just thought I didn’t want it to break while driving.
I Just Purchased (3 Months Ago), A 2013 RDX & Love The V-6 Better Than This New Turbo Thing They Put In The New One, But The New Styling Is Simply Awesome!
"Consumer Reports can no longer recommend six car models, including the Acura RDX(and MDX) SUV... because of problems identified in CR’s annual reliability survey. The survey has data on 470,000 vehicles as reported by their owners."
@Notsofast L find a MDX that had the recall done and I'm sure while they are in there did the Honda timing belt. Otherwise budget about $1,000 for timing belt and water pump every 100K miles.
Agreed. I like chicks that are smart, dorky, and awkward...Especially when they know it, and they're still not afraid to be themselves. In a world full of fakes, frauds, posers, and wannabes, someone who is genuine truly stands out among the chaff. 👍🏻
Damn, now that I have found you, I must binge watch you. I have watched so many and have not been as entertained and informed in such a unique manner. Great fun. Keep it going.
@@GoofieNewfie this rig has more features than most lol. Also there have been some transmission issues because people are morons with the paddle shifters
I got the exact color and model except 2019 year. Few changes in 2020 worth mentioning. This video is the best UA-cam review for 2019/2020 Acura RDX. Thank you for testing the vehicle off road capabilities.
Sarah, mate, so good at what you do buuuut, every now and then you drop a classic. Today's had me somewhat distracted for the entire video. And I quote, "MOMMY MISSILE"? This is one that will not go unnoticed. Thanks Sars
You had me at Type-R powered mommy missile, haha! My '18 TLX was getting serviced last week and the dealer loaned me a 2021 RDX A-Spec, it was a lot of fun to drive, the turbo screams!!!
Another great car review, Sarah. Really nice work, backing that car down the hill. That can be really scary business! Nice to see your little penguin friends again. That car might have some serious off-road chops with different wheels and tires? Keep 'em coming. Always enjoy your videos.
Yup, I’m watching this again 4 years later. I own a 2020 RD-X Technology with SH-AWD. This has to be the best car I’ve EVER owned. I’m 70 years old and have owned a lot of cars over the years. It is phenomenally fun to drive, comfortable on road trips. Gas mileage isn’t super but I consider it the price of admission . I’ve averaged a calculated 25.5 mpg over the entire life of the car. I can squeeze 30 mpg on a road trip if I keep the speed down and keep my foot out of the boost (kinda tough though 😊). My only 2 complaints with the car is road noise and rattles in the cargo area. I would buy this car again in a heartbeat if anything happened to it. 👍👍.
I had the same issue with rattling sounds. The noise came from the inner corners of the cargo bin and the rear seats. To fix it, I rolled up two towels-one for each corner-placed them between the cargo bin and the back seats, then closed the seats over them. Adding some pressure around the inner tie-down clamps on the bin also helped eliminate the rattle. Honestly, it's a terrible design. I even removed the entire cargo bin trying to track down the problem, only to find that the plastic retainers don’t provide enough clamping force. I tried alien tape and padding, but in the end, the towels were the most effective solution.
Please don't change the way you do your rating of a vehicle. We love the bean score. It's so cool and kind of funny. You really have a funny way of making yourself look funny so I guess that makes you double funny. You're freaking hilarious. Have a great day Sarah
Great car review. Love the ending. This review was so "?perky". The only term I can think of. Like you were in a really good mood. You do, Miss Sarah, do the very best car reviews. No BS - just highlights
I liked this review in the sense that you were trying to be too clever by half but you still managed to get your points across re RDX's capabilities. I own one (2019) and so far, in Alberta, Canada, it's been a performance and inclement weather workhorse.
I've watched like 10 seconds of your review, and your intro, where you are cute and quirky then suddenly spout stats and facts like Mr. Data from Star Trek is one of the coolest things you have ever done. Way to lay down the knowledge.
Another great review, Sarah. Loved your road/off-road testing. BTW...4 degrees and snowing here, which is as warm as it is going to be for the next two plus days! My long time best friend moved to Phoenix 8 weeks ago and had to call to rub it in today. :-( LOL!
SARAH! Excellent review -- I have this car (White, Advance package). YOU ARE THE BEST CAR REVIEWER EVERRRRR! You have a new fan in Boston (and Maine half the time). Subscribing... :)
That was.....one entertaining review video. Never watched a woman car reviewer before (nothing misogynistic about it), simply never popped on my radar. But you're humor was refreshing. +1 sub. Stay weird Sarah!
@1:17 Needs a tough screen behind the hexagon shaped grill openings that'll stop bugs, rocks & other debris from getting through & hitting the radiator but without inhibiting cooling airflow.
Actually the great thing about our white RDX is that when it gets dirty it is not as obvious. Ive found that the darker the color the harder it is to keep cars “looking” clean.
That's my favorite SUV... but for now I will keep driving my Outlander Sport/ASX. 8 years, no issues... not powerful, but enough to drive fine to work, and go back home :)
Love me some Sarah on a Monday.❤️❤️ my weekend just got better. Plus I’m an Acura certified tech. Well I was a few years ago. Lol. Still shade tree tho.
Chrome is more expensive to manufacture,. Some of the minor defects in the plastic parts can be painted. If chromed the parts need dipped in acid. The acid open up any flow lines in the part. High scrap rate.
Good job Sarah I really like to see your videos they are very interesting and I like the cars that you work on especially when you test drive them and they drive good which it means you did a great job on it I'm so glad for you Sarah. Take Care and can't wait to see another video of yours 👌👍👍😇
Absolutely THE BEST review yet ! . . . So Honest, So Daring, and So CUTE ! LOTS of EFFORT on your part is appreciated. Thank you Sarah. . . You're my new favorite too. :)

Yea ! new unit of measurement for hood badges.. big hamburger buns! And i will not mention that "other" word U used. Super happy U think SAFETY during your productions, Our Girl got mad skills. ✔️
Now that's a cool review. I love the offroad portions you do. Backing down that had to be interesting. At least you had the backup camera I guess? I really like the way the RDX looks and performs, but that infotainment seems like it would be hard to read and navigate for me.
I was planning to buy one of these last year until I discovered that the only engine was a turbo charged 2.0 liter. If I wanted a little racing engine in my daily driver, I'd by a CR-V and save $10k. They can keep the 16 speakers and the black washer reserve bottle. The Passport has all of the good features and none of the bad, and a bit less expensive. They will be parking these right next to the CR-Vs when the little engine starts blowing gas into the oil.
Another fabulous review from a Sarah like no other. Glad you’re enjoying warm dry weather. It was 1 Celsius when I left for work this morning and now it’s raining.
1.5 years later... still enjoyable to watch. One of the best car reviews without the fluff. Love the personality.

That was a great interior review.. You are getting more and more creative and more and more entertaining! Awesome job.
Your production quality, relative to the frequency of output, combined with the fact that you probably do it all yourself - is incredible. Props.
This is by far the best review!! Thank you. I'm making my purchase solely based on this video!! I love this vehicle

Already own the 2020 RDX, so I didn’t really need to watch another review, but I’m freakin’ happy I did! You just earned another subscriber! 🤙🏼
you are by far my favorite reviewer!! Your personality is so refreshing!!

93 degrees here, and that’s after it’s eased off. Another fun review, glad I found your channel recently.
Great review Sarah! Nice job backing down the hill; that looked scary. Good job on the editing! Hope you remembered the penguins.
I think apex blue is THE color to get. It’s the prettiest color of blue I’ve ever seen on any vehicle in my life

I will never see an RDX the same way after that tailpipe clip. Anyway, awesome review as always!

This is an example of how all car reviews should be done. This is a new standard.
