It's so refreshing to see style advice for us "mature" women, especially from a contemporary who doesn't try to turn us into something we're not. I just turned 60 and have been following you for a year or so, and I've rediscovered the strong lip color that you demonstrated so well - I gave it up in my late 30s because I felt it was aging me. Thanks!
P. S. My mother wore only shades of red lipstick and she would apply it perfectly without a mirror, let alone liner!

Kerry-Lou congratulation you are looking amazing and it is all the way I love it, everything is matching perfect. Some years ago we had a triple wedding, two of our four kids and our silver wedding anniversary. I sewed my dress myself, a 1880 evening gown from heavy dark blue silk tafeta. So I was mother of the groom, the bride and the silver bride in one go. Many greetings from hot Germany

I can’t say enough about that inexpensive little hair scrunchie “friend”.
You’re correct in that it looks better with lots of use.
When it was new, I sprayed it lightly with dry shampoo to cut down on the synthetic shine.
I’ve been using mine for over a year now and just give it a freshening up shake-shake and it’s good to go!
You’ve given me confidence to use it on our special upcoming day, and now I’m looking for the perfect flower to clip on for this perfect style. Thank you KerryLou! 🌺

It all started with me looking for a makeup tutorial on how to cover-up age spots & I came across a video you had made about 3yrs ago. I am 56yrs old & in just the last year & a half those little boogers have been popping up a lot. And wouldn't you just know it, the biggest one is right on my forehead! I didn't want to look like a unicorn🦄 any longer so I'm going to use your advise & technique! I just wish I could use it on my arms were I have the most age spots. Glad your feeling better. We’ve been all boosted and vaxed too. But we caught that Omni variant. Thankfully just a few yucky days and our FAmily Dr. Confirmed and advised us what to expect.

I have been binging quite a lot of your videos lately as I am going to attempt to do my own makeup for my step-daughter's wedding. It is down to just under 4 weeks time now, so lots of practice happening. I have my dress, my two pairs of shoes, a coat - (the wedding date is just 10 days into Spring here in Australia, and the city it is being held in can get quite cold), and my clutch all picked out. Earrings are still to be chosen. (I love yours.) This video came at just the right time for me, so thank you Kerry-Lou. You look gorgeous. Congratulations to the newlyweds.

Hey welcome back, so lovely to see your video and your beautiful elegant outfit, wishing your son and his lovely wife a lifetime of health and happiness, yes hot weather it is sooo hot here in the UK, which I never thought I would say!! On that note do you have any tips to avoid panda eyes in the heat? I seem to have mascara and eye liner sliding down my face after a couple of hours, which it never normally does. Hi Helen, thanks so much for your well wishes! Panda eyes - yes I know them! I find that when I wear the Lashblast by Covergirl I do not get Panda eyes, but it is challenging to remove when you want to. I also avoid mascara on the lower lashes when it's hot out. Good luck! xx
