Christine Baranski as Peggy Porterfield, benefactress to a ballet company, offers some advice to Shonn Wiley as Junior, music professor and occasional ballet star, in "The Heart Is Quicker Than the Eye," from the 2013 Encores! production of Rodgers & Hart's "On Your Toes," HD1080p. The role of Mrs. Porterfield was previously played in New York revivals of "On Your Toes" by Elaine Stritch, Dina Merrill and Kitty Carlisle.

That great Broadway production was not only a treat, but a great reconstruction of history. I saw it twice when it traveled to Toronto, and listen to the soundtrack often.

Saw this with my friend Tony Sheldon. Loved it but I would have preferred the Balanchine choreography...only a bit of it still exists
