Finally found a video for the smoker griller not the airless fryer. Thanks for the tip on low first hour and high second hour. All other videos said high the whole time which burnt the skin. Grilling on now for Thanksgiving lunch, hope this does the trick!
I have used the big easy for 10 years..could not live without the roasted chickens, a fan favorite and so affordable for a chicken that feeds 4 people. We marinate overnight in home made Garlic and Peruvian spices. Just purchased the 3 in 1 Big Easy, I can say it does not give the smoky flavor my smoker gives most likely due to the temperature inside runs hotter even on low, wood chips burn quickly too. Cheers!
The Charbroil Big Easy is the only outdoor cooking appliance I've ever bought new, and it's been worth every penny. It's not a dedicated smoker, but it's great for light smoking of anything you grill or roast. I have 6 various BBQs and this is the one I use the most.
Thanks for the view! I'm a little embarrassed, My cameras have decided to work against me! One of them some how the steady shot got turned off and the other the focus was soft?? UA-cam smoothed out the video but instead of just messing with the shaky parts now the whole video is weirded out oh well what can you do lol.
Yes It helps the convection action and holds in the smoke. The earlier version cooks with out the top. Not sure this version is still available anymore.
New sub here. I like your videos but the audio, well, sucks. Perhaps a lav mic or another device near you to use for the audio then splice to the video? Anyway, I recently cooked a chicken hi and fast on my Char Broil SRG and it turned out good. Needed to use more seasoning but the meat was juicy and tender.
Eden I keep forgetting to go measure but luckily somebody on The Kurts Smokehouse ask the same question so I stole his answer which is inside height of the wire basket is 12 1/4 " Height of basket counting the legs is 14 1/2 inches
I did not know that. I did see its predecessor (Char-Broil Big Easy Oil-less Turkey Fryer with Collapsible Roaster Basket) on sale at Academy Sports recently? Not that much different Dont think it has the Smoke feature Though?
@@GadjetGriller I have the roaster and done many birds found cook with lid open then when you want to brown the skin close the lid 20 to 30 min's. I also made a lid for it like the original Big Easy as I had that before the roaster and liked that lid setup for browning

It really wasn't. The skin did get dark in a few places but didn't taste burnt. the skin was very crispy was very happy with that cook.
