This first opening title sequence thing with the hokey indoor skate rink was just awful. The one they changed it to was phenomenal. It’s filmed to the song ‘ Home ‘ and is a literal interpretation of what Mormons believe about their celestial kingdom. The husband pulls the wife into that kingdom which is in essence a planet assigned to him and their family. A woman can’t get into the celestial kingdom unless her husband brings her in and that’s what you are seeing in those opening credits. Bill is pulling the three sister wives into heaven.
i used to groan when ever i saw the ad for this show then id walk out of the room or mute it so i didnt have to hear it. then one day it was just on and i didnt know it was this show till the ads came on then i got hooked on it damn.
