Well done Iona! Really enjoy this halfway house series! Very unique idea! Love me a good halfway house but this one is next level! Course is immaculate too!
Just found this series, but I really enjoy seeing the various setups of the courses half way houses. I would love to see Japanese golf courses one day
well done and thanks for sharing looks amazing! I aspire.
11:33 was the best part
thicker than the ice cream and margaritas fsho
That sunburn though.
AH ! To be able to truly enjoy living life to the fullest.
Amazing
🎉
Seems like you have never been to Monterey Peninsula Country Club’s halfway houses
Looks awesome. To bad the clock is ticking until there's no water out there.
Is she related to Phil Mickelson? The eyebrows were a giveaway.
All this to have maybe 40 golfers out in a day. This seems like way too much, right?
my thoughts exactly
Money talks
Private facility.
I mean this club is beautiful, but builiding a golf course in a desert is a stupid idea, because of the water wasted. And then making it only accesible to 200people is criminal.
Classic murica.
Murica has quite a bit of land, friend.
@@tchombre1992 But not a lot of water in the West. Their marketing materials show levels of Lake Mead which are likely only a memory for anyone alive today.
Golf courses in Vegas have to use entirely recycled grey water. They’ve got probably the best water recycling system of any city in the country, so these golf courses aren’t actually depleting the fresh water supply. Vast majority of Lake Mead’s water is taken by California.
I don’t think this course is anything special. It’s basically in the desert with no trees and no history. Boring.
This one is a little underwhelming if you ask me. Biggest perks seem to be the privacy and exclusivity . . .
Second
Seems underwhelming for a club like that... just me though
This sucks. This is what is wrong with golf, and with the U.S. Boo!
Las Vegas.. classy? Hey?
Halfway house means something completely different in Canada. We would call this the field bar. A halfway house is an institute for people with criminal backgrounds or drug abuse tendencies to learn the necessary skills to re-integrate into society and better support and care for themselves.
Halfway house is used in the same way here in the US, I’ve heard it used in the golf context before but it’s not a common thing. Probably because most courses have the turn back at the club house so there is no need for this type of facility. 🤷🏻♂️
Halfway houses are the same thing in America, but if you're directly speaking towards golf you'll know that someone is not talking about a place for addicts but rather where you get your snacks and drinks when you make the turn.
It can be called a halfway Hut Etc...

You can tell by the comments alot of people don’t understand nor can they afford to live in a Discovery Land Property. Just say you’re broke.
Exactly. They don’t understand.
Places like this give golf a bad name
it’s a cool idea but las vegas sucks
