This is hands down one of the top 3 golf UA-cam channels! Iona really puts the emphasis on the courses and the people and the game, not her ego. Such a refreshing view
Her beard isnt that great. Nor is her love for sausage rolls.
But her golf and personality are next level.

I felt so blessed to be able to visit the Old Course in 2022 for the Monday and Tuesday Open practice rounds with my dad. Someday, I hope to return to Scotland for a few weeks (or more) to play as much golf as I can. Such a special place that soothes my soul.

Over the years, I've been good, bad and ugly at this golf thingy. You hit the nail on the head, golf gives you the opportunity to enjoy so many emotions, but at the end of the day, golf is the winner. Even after my worst round, I just feel that golf has given me my mind and body a reset. Keep up the amazing work. Total respect.

I have never played the old course but been there a few times. Just standing on that grass gives me goosebumps so actually playing it must be nervy but a great honour. Well done Iona and Steve, a joy to watch. Hope you can keep up that quality for the back nine.

Very impressive front nine. Can hardly wait for the back to come out. I was on a bucket list trip at Pinehurst when I got a pic from one of my bud's standing on Swilcan bridge at St Andrews. Quite the surprise and even better finding out he shot a 76 first time out (but then again he's a 2HC). I hope to make it there one day before age catches up to my game ( (upper 50's now and a 5hc). I've had a few good caddies over the last few years and they're certainly worth their weight in gold especially with reading greens... Jonesy seems like a great guy and can certainly help save you some strokes there.

Ive had the honour of playing the Old Course took a caddy, he was brilliant, if you ever get the chance to play take a St Andrews caddy, makes a huge difference, plus take a carry bag, don't be a knob and take a tour bag

Another superb video. The Old Course has a magic of its own, but is far less of a test than say Turnberry or Royal Lytham, unless it is blowing a hoolie.

Wow! Your videos are so different to other you tube content! The videography obviously (Emily 👏👏👏), but the content is so different. If I want to chill and have a laugh Finch, Shiels, Mia etc but u get me to sit up, leave the social media alone and watch intensely. It’s like a cross between a tour pro showing me how to play the game and great commentator/lover of the game talking about it. Very good! 👏👏👏
