A gear is just a gear baby!! If you put an effort into it, an "entry level", "identity crisis", "scam", "non pro friendly", "normies" camera like this (or even a Sony ZV-E10, a6100, Canon EOS R100, Fujifilm X-E4, can be turned into a PROPER production gear. Great video as always!!
Agreed about your (Matthew)'s waiting for 60p 6K Open Gate. That'd be GREAT. I don't think I'd upgrade for "plain" 4k120 as I'd still prefer shooting 6K Open Gate even if it's 30p only, the resolution / cropping advantage is SO huge. But 6K Open Gate at 60p, that'd be GREAT!
For sure! I think the issue with 6K Open Gate 60fps is overheating, but again even 5-10 minute record limit would be amazing for social media broll clips
