It is very hard, not to like these guys. The more you watch them, the more you learn. You get the feeling they love what they do but they are open to learning even more. I think they just make it look much easier than it is. Continued success guys, stay safe.
Yay always excited to see another video posted ,!!!you guys are amazing love watching you all work around the farm , thank you for the happy moms day wishes !!!Happy Mother’s Day to all of you moms across the world❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
When you realize there is an overly aggressive pig in the pins how do you handle it? I remember as a kid one of my classmates grew up on a pig farm. Her dad allowed our class to visit it for a field trip. While we were there one of the workers unfortunately had a ruff time in the shed with a known trouble maker. They got that pig out of there as fast as they could. Found out later that they had a really nice barbecue that weekend. That's how things were in the 70's. We knew it as a fact of life. 4-H had a big presence in our school back then.
Welcome back guys and as always beautiful sharing adventure documentary updated resume countryside content video and you guys rock it all again .. thanks again guys!! ..
Thanks for another great video. It was interesting and informative and enjoyable. I am new to your channel. By way of introduction I am an 80 year old Iowa farm boy from central Iowa. Love your content and the way you and dad handle the pigs. Been there done that but just on a small farm probably 25 pigs at a time is all. I happen to see the video where you talked about your barns and how they operate. I so enjoyed that I hooked up to you on you tube. Believe this is my second video of yours and my compliments to you and your dad for the way you operate and handle the pigs. I thought your loading went fairly smooth tonight and you got it done in good time. Nice you got your 15 pigs out for the locker plant. I have got to check out your meat sales and try some of your meat. Appreciate the way you voice over what is going on and explain things as you go. Looking forward to more of your videos. All for now. Thanks for everything. The Iowa farm boy. Steve.
Always cooler, and the hogs seem to be "drowsy" in the wee hours of the day. Just in my limited experience with hogs. I'm sure Tork has a 1000X more than I do, and I really appreciate learning from a pro!
Livestock load better later in the day or night. Cooler Temps and less stress on the animals. Yes, they're stressed but not as much as when it's 90 degrees in the shade.
Do you guys have any solar arrays for the sites? Just did 4 sites down in east MO. They are down to about $40 a month on electric bills as of 2 days ago
Wife and I were wondering why only 300lbs? Have you ever let any go up to 500lbs? Looking up the largest hog was over 2500lbs back in the day. Just a curiosity question is all.
Long answer short 300lbs is the weight that most u.s prcessing plants are designed to process. As pigs grow wider they also grow longer so if they get to heavy/long while they hang they can touch the flore or non-process machines and if that happines the whole animal has to be disposed of.

Watching loudout reminds me of watching my Dad load hogs in Allison,IA and Greene,IA in the 70s when he drove for Stanton Livestock. Good memories.
My mantra is "I will sleep plenty when I am dead"! Helps me push through the "GO" times. Great video, and the Farmer Grade hogs look really good!

Awesome! Thank you!
Good video guys, get some rest.
This is endlessly fascinating 😊❤
Any particular reason for night-time loading? Love those long frame fellows, ground covering as my grandpa used to say.
I’m thinking it maybe depends on the processor and their schedule, too??

Processors dictate when you load. 24 hrs a day except weekends most of the year.
Hello 👋 Kat
Yall had an easy bunch of hogs to move this time
great stuff... you ever think of getting a ear tag reader to do yuor counting?? if they make something like that,, your son has grown ...ehhhhh
Do you guys have any solar arrays for the sites? Just did 4 sites down in east MO. They are down to about $40 a month on electric bills as of 2 days ago
You're going to bed, but those drivers are probably going to pick up another load.
Yep. Those guys are a special breed for sure! The world doesn’t move without truckers!
Your bacon is fantastic
Aerosmith sang "Falling in Love is Hard on the Knees". They never worked hogs, so they don't know 💩!🤣
Looks like you have been eating a little too much breakfast lately lol.

After 300 or so, feed efficiency drops off the charts.
Where can I get one of those hats?
We’re working on that. New website coming soon. Thanks for watching!
Question why you get shipments at night ?
Our load times are based on the dock times at the processing facility. If they have a 5am dock time and we’re 5 hours away, midnight loads.
Is there a reason you always load pigs in the "wee" hours of the day?
How many hog per truck load?
155-165 depending on size of pig and weather.
What is farmer grade?
Wear knee pads like your dad does. Believe me, I know. 25+ years loading a trailer almost every week has destroyed my knees.
Do you get a shipping bonus for shipping at night ? I would never want to ship like you guys. Not worth it.
Processors tell you when they want the pigs. 24 hrs a day except weekends.
alleyway you used feed not OREOs as they leave?
👍👍
Can you tell me on here how I can order meat from you guys
Go to farmergrade.com its a very easy to use website.
Why do u always load pigs at night
Based on dock times. If the pigs are to be there at 5 am. We’re 5 hours away so midnight loads.
👍👍👍👍 👍👍👍👍👍👍
