I have never heard a better Mendelssohn - not Milstein, not Francescatti, not Shaham, not Stern, not Midori, not Ricci, not Elman, not Grumiaux, not Gitlis, not Mutter, not Grimal, not Hahn, not Spivakovsky, no, ...not even Heifetz.
I will remember this performance. An excellent violinist who feels and interprets emotions in a very fine way enabling Mendelssohn's master peace to touch every listener. Also, the conductor and orchestra performed it very very well, following Mr. Trosussov's emotion and rounding it in a very delicate and fine way. Bravo!

I just saw his Tchaikovsky concerto, Scottish fantasy and this!!! I love all three of them. Very passionate, powerful but sophisticated and gentle at the same time, and very charming!! Celestial 😍😘🥰 Seems like it is such an easy job for him to play those masterpieces. It just flows like a beautiful river.
