Ingredients :
Preparation of Chutney
1/2 cup Coriander Leaves
10-12 Garlic Cloves
6-8 Green Chillies
1 tbsp Coriander Seeds
1-inch Ginger (peeled)
1/4 cup Mint Leaves
1 tsp Black Peppercorns
Preparation of Rice
2 tbsp Oil
3 Bay Leaves
1 Onion (chopped)
1/2 kg Chicken (boneless)
1 Tomato (diced)
1 cup Rice (washed & soaked)
1 tsp Garam Masala Powder
Salt (as required)
2 cups Water

Use always lemon juice( 1/2 spoon) for this type of green chutneys it gives more colour full and delicious taste.
Once you cook lime juice, the KICK is gone.
Add it just before serving.
Else use a bit of curd or natural vinegar

Difference between pulao and biryani?

This is same like Donne biryan which is from kernataka
I made this,but instead of boneless,I used bone in chicken,it actually didn't require any accompaniments at all!
My basmati rice doesn't cook with just 2 cups of water. I add 2 and 1/4 th cup water and cook the rice on a High flame for 5 mins and another 2 mins on a high flame covered and on a low flame for another 5 mins and transfer it onto an iron tawa heated and ready and cook it for 15 mins on low and switch it off and leave it to additionally cook in the retained heat for another 20-25 mins before opening and fluffing it. Most recipes show just 10-15 mins of cooking and it never works for me.
Are you soaking the washed rice in water for 20 - 30 mins and then draining out the water before cooking it.This hastens the cooking and is mentioned. in the recipe.
