Got a 2018 Holden captive. Sounds okay is pretty quick and I’ve had it for 6 months. 4 of those it has been in mechanics and is actually quite unreliable.
My dad had one of these as a work vehicle. I thrashed the shit out of it when I first got my p plates; floored it off every corner. Made it to 170,000 kms without any issues at all surprisingly
@ilqar887 well, the fact that Daewoo originally designed, built and then sent them off to be badge engineered would generally make them Korean, included the fact majority of them were built in Korea...
everyone i don’t get what horsepower and shit it but.. every car i drive wither it’s my dads v8 vf commodore 2015 or my brothers tiny ford fiesta 2011 they kinda feel the same to drive lol same as my mums kia carnival 2016
they pull quite well (when on the back of a tilt tray hino 500 series)
I've got the last of the Chevy version in England, wish it had the newer dash like the Holden. Damn good motor for the money and pulls well
My uncle has this car with the 2.2 VDCI 184ps 400nm and this thing is so fast off the line. Pulls like crazy
It's actually pretty quick.
that's true.
Just because something is big doesn't mean that it is slow.

Please do test Holden captiva ltz 2016-2017 v6 3.0l petrol engine
Just bought one! I thought it was pretty loud for a diesel but it sounds exactly the same on idle
I hope holden make an HSV version with a LS3 or the V6 strapped to it
@Qaizr They already have a v6 version, it's the 3.0 SIDI engine used in the VE omega.
That would’ve been badass!
Ah yes, the whistle of the turbo.
8.8 l/100km?? How come? Mine 2.0 diesel takes 10.5l/100km
Dude even I have a 2008 2.0 they chug fuel but they sound soo beautiful 🙃
Holden always go for lower figures which turn out untrue and ford over estimates and uses less fuel than claimed
please do the xr sprints and the mustang
What would make anyone buy one of these over a Kluger or CX-9, I will never know!
muh holden badge
@Fraser agreed! A Kluger with 100,000km on the clock would be better than a brand new Craptiva IMO!
Is this car Holden Daewoo or Chevrolet I can't figureout also why it has an opel engine
It's a Chevrolet originally, however Holden, Daewoo and Chevrolet are owned by GM... I even think Opel is now
@@Michka1001okay but who makes them is it korean or german¿
@ilqar887 well, the fact that Daewoo originally designed, built and then sent them off to be badge engineered would generally make them Korean, included the fact majority of them were built in Korea...
Essentially, GM owned Daewoo and Opel
👌👌👌

everyone i don’t get what horsepower and shit it but.. every car i drive wither it’s my dads v8 vf commodore 2015 or my brothers tiny ford fiesta 2011 they kinda feel the same to drive lol same as my mums kia carnival 2016
