- If you have the esp traction and esp OFF warning lights you might also have the C1130 Engine signal 1 & c1132 engine signal 2 fault codes. They relate to a DPF pipe which needs to be removed, then you can clear the codes and turn off the warning lights. They best method is to use the i903 kit as shown here www.diagnostic-...

Thank you for this it helped me fix the same fault. Was quoted up to £250 for this but managed to remove the pipe (very awkward as previously stated at the rear of the engine). The pipe was completely blocked with soot. Cleaned it out with some carb cleaner, some good old fashioned warm soapy water and thin wire. dried thoroughly and refitted. Cleared faults with code reader and fault fixed for zero cost. Brilliant.

This doesn't fix every car my qashqai has these 2 lights on I.ve replaced the pipe and sensor connected to it brand new I.m still getting the 2 to lights and when I read the car I get 2 codes c1130 and c1132 engine signal 1 and engine signal 3 in the abs module was also getting 2 egr fault codes in the engine module so fitted a new egr valve which fixed the 2 codes in the engine module
Thank you for your video, my 2011 1.5 Qashqai was displaying the 2 traction control lights when accelerating, they would only go out after an engine restart. I removed the pipe (it's a bit of a pig as it's on the back of the engine) to find it was blocked, cleaned it out and refitted, so far so good, no lights coming on. Thanks again for the video.

There is a way to reset the check engine light on a 2018 Nissan Pathfinder and it is sooo easy and it works! Press your ignition button twice to put it into the run position, Lift the hood and remove the negative battery cable. Then take the connector and touch the negative battery post three times about a second apart. Then just place the clamp back onto the battery, tighten, and start the vehicle. The light should go away if the problem has been solved. Trust me, it is that easy! Try it, you’ll be glad you did.

I just had my turbo replaced and the mechanic also said he needed to replace a pipe along with that - is it this pipe? Cos if so good chance it wasn't installed right, light came up a few days after getting the car back.

i got a 2015 x trail and also got the c1130 code. on the dash i have a start/stop system failure message on also the esp and forward emergency braking lights on and engine management. any idea what could be causing it

Just fixed the problem on my Car. It wasn't the pipe that was the problem... I needed to replace the Airbag Squib and I bought a cheap one off eBay. Found the issue was with the Airbag Squib as when replaced with an Original Airbag Squib the light went out.
Just fixed a 2011 Qashqai thanks to this, pipe was blocked in the middle some wire, wd40 and air blow gun unblocked it well.

I have the exact same problem on my X-trail T31 and it is really annoying because it causes the throttle to be unresponsive. Does an xtrail have the same DPF pipe?
I've stripped and cleaned the EGR on a J11, changed the battery, changed the Exhaust Pressure Sensor and pipe. Still cant get C1130 to disappear after resetting.

had this exact issue on a 2011 Juke, Nissan Bristol street motors wanted to remove gearbox and check slave cylinder for cost of £230 labour. They said fluid leaked . Took car to another garage and they said no leaks at all an dthat any fluid was from the aircon condensation, electrician tested various parts and came to conclusion it was either DPF or this pipe. Got to take car back to get pipe off and checked. Well all I can say is Bristol Street are trying to rip me off, there is no leak and they are obviously intentionally fleecing people if they are doing this, one would question if they are even going to do what they say.
