How to fix Nissan C1130 Code: Engine Signal 1
A Nissan C1130 code is set when the ABS module does not have the information it needs to complete its functions.
The ABS (anti-lock brake) module needs information from the engine, such as throttle control and RPM, or it can not complete its task.
This includes traction control, cruise control, anti-lock braking, forward emergency braking, and more.
How to Troubleshoot a Nissan C1130 Code:
Scan for other codes on all computer modules ECM, PCM, and TCM.
Be sure to have a scan tool that can scan all computer modules.
For example, if a scan shows a P0340 Code Camshaft Position Sensor Circuit Bank 1. The cause is likely the P0340 Code.
If there are "U" codes, there is an issue with the wiring or one of the computer modules.
The CAN (Controller Area Network) is a protocol that allows computer modules to communicate with each other.
Check for blown fuses; the battery is good, and the alternator is charging correctly.
There may also be an issue with the ABS module (control unit) /actuator but will usually get another code.
By using this information user assumes all risk of use.

Hey my 350z just went into “limp mode” where it wont rev past 3k rpm or lose any power once it hits 3k rpm. I scanned the car and the codes “P0340” and “C1130” both came on . Do you believe once I change the camshaft sensor it should be fine? If those are the only codes appearing?

It's possible, but the sensor needs to be tested to know for sure. Other things can also cause the issue, such as wiring or a computer problem. If the Cam sensor is replaced, be sure to research whether your vehicle needs a Cam Sensor Relearn.

I have these codes for p0447 in the evap system. I also have the code p2138, c1130, and c1154, what do you think is the problem?

Those codes and issues, such as the EVAP system and Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor, are usually unrelated. It will need to be diagnosed, but if I have to guess, I would say there is a wiring issue.

Hey thanks for the video! Do you have any information about this code with the p0101 code. I replaced the MAF sensor recently light went off. Now light is back on with both codes C1130 and P0101. I’m driving a 2017 Nissan Altima. Thank you!
