Nice tractor wish I had a heated cab. Oh I got a cab just not heated. I got a Craftsman tractor with a snowblower attachment it works pretty good. My cab is just the cheap plastic cab but keeps the snow off and the wind out. Hopefully next summer I can build a nice cab on it and figure something out for heat. Thinking of a regular heater for a tractor that takes coolant. Would have to hook up a hot water tank and a propane tank on the back of the to supply hot water to the heater. Just would have to run a 50/50 mix of water and antifreeze. Don't have a liquid cooled engine on my Craftsman. Would be nice if I did. I couldn't afford the price of a tractor with a heated cab otherwise I would already had one. I paid 400 for my Craftsman tractor with the blower.

Hello, I enjoy the video's. Sorry for your loss of Maddi. One quick statement, on this model Deere it should not kill the motor when you reverse with the PTO on, it should just kick the PTO off. Killing the motor could leave you in a predicament while working terrain and so on. It is part of the test procedure chart for checking all the safety's, it should interrupt the PTO but engine continues to run.
Interesting. Just found your channel. Will have to checkout your other videos... Strange coincidence, my brother just moved about a mile from you over on long st. near the firehall. Keep up the great videos
First time on your channel... First off, NICE RIG! Secondly, you know she'll get her "workouts" when the Lake Effect kicks in! Grew up in the Finger Lakes and have gotten those lake snows (not quite the same as the Buffalo/Erie or Syracuse/Watertown snow belts). But wishing I had a rig like that when the winds shifted in my direction off Lake Ontario...unfortunately, work brought me to Northern VA where they cancel schools when there's a chance of snow. Miss everything about NY!!! Hunting, fishing, summers in the ADK's, etc... (well almost everything...don't miss the taxes, gun laws and especially the politicians!!!) Look forward to the next big snow, tractor video.
CMV 14504 your comments about New York negatives proves you lived here. My open station jd 3033 blew some big snow off the driveway for 14 years with 33hp. More snow you just feed the the blower slower. The worst is wet slush which clogs the shoot. Thanks for watching, no big snow yet this year but I will get it on video. I hear there’s nice atv trails in your state do you ride?
@@maraudermitchelli I'm here to work and that's pretty much all I do...but on my vacations I come back home, head to the ADK'S and ride (where I can bcuz of the snowmobile assoc.), get ready for next year's bow season, do some fishing and just spend as much time in the woods and away from any city as possible!!!
Sub’d. I really enjoy your videos. There’s just something so satisfying about blowing snow. I love the clean edges vs. plowing. Keep the vids coming. We haven’t got any real snow yet this year to play in☹️(Grand Rapids, MI). The Pto switch has got to be annoying, I’d have to bypass it somehow.
Marauder Mitchelli thanks for making the videos. I know a lot of effort goes into them. I love when we get big snow events, I figure if we are going to get snow we may as well get enough to play in. Snowmobiles, ATVS, and tractors are a blast in big snow.
Jeff X thank you. I hit sent on the previous reply before finishing. He couldn’t understand why he enjoyed it so much. Comments like your make this worthwhile God Bless.
Mark Sleeper I was there for 30 years ago. In nice weather doing yard work an open station is fast light and more convenient on and off the tractor. Almost 2 years ago when I purchased my cab tractor it changed my life, especially during the winter. I just could stand snow blowing with snow hitting my face, I would wear a full helmet and just got fed up. Enjoy your tractor for what it is, it does have its advantage...wet spring and fall I was very limited on tractor use due to its weight. Thank you for commenting 😊
Wayne Weck thank you I always second guess the music choice. I thought I’d try background music because the video was so long. 10 hours editing this video I’m glad you like it, happy holidays stay safe.
some background music is good, but this song is background for some of those sappy feel good videos and makes me want to turn it off. Love your video content though not knocking you at all. JD 790 compact with 300 loader here in Northern IL
Johnny Wishbone don’t worry I struggle with the music and editing but um getting better...let’s hope. Everything is fair game and I agree, I wish I could modify the videos after they upload.
Dirt ObseXXion Binghamton is a pretty area we ride west of there. Thanks for watching the tractor video now back to atv uploads. Tomorrow I’m riding my 570 for a comparison, wish I had your talent for verse and cadence. Merry Christmas stay dirty and let’s have a muddy new year.
should check to see if you can narrow up the stance of the tractor by flipping or swapping the tires (less driving over unplowed snow). a lot of times JD tractors will let you change your gauge by reorienting the tires
jetegtmeier71 only fronts on this years model, I did that on previous 3 series. I like the wider stance doesn’t effect snow removal you can watch my spacer video. Happy New Years
Eric Petrie not sure of the model, it’s jds 59” blower, I’ve had it for over 18 years and it’s been on 2 of my tractors. Jd has been selling it for ever. Thank you for commenting😊
Just found your channel and subscribed. Your PTO issue should be able to be solved with a proximity sensor, my 1025r has one that I plug in when using the front pto only. If I go to rear and front it will kill the engine.
I could and have researched a rear mount blower and have researched, takes up more room in the garage and I just don't have that much driver to warranty that purchase. I prefer to blow snow looking forward.
I just ordered a 3046R that is being shipped from the LandPro store in Springville, NY to my local store in Wheatfield, NY. I live in Cambria, NY. Not sure what you mean by "pull up on the PTO button" can you please explain? I'm coming from a JD 2320.
Karl Brenzel congratulations 🎉🎊!!! When the pto is engage when you backup it will kill the engine. Pulling up on the pto knob once when reversing overrides this safety feature. Dealer installed a devise so this will not happen when snow blowing but mine is out of adjustment. Look at my comments viewers wrote ways to program this feature to off but I’m not ready for that. Hope this helps you’ll love the machine!!! Thank you for watching.
The most I've seen is 7 feet twice in my lifetime. The fist 7 feet storm i had to get a backhole from work to dig out my driveway, i did not own a snow blower then. If you blow snow every 3-4 hours your fine. The worse storm was the ice storm in 2006, people did not have power for 3 weeks. Sometimes we get a couple feet at a time that's rare now, some years i only use my blower 1-2 times. Thank you for watching.
Jim Jones I really can’t remember as I’ve traded up 4 tractors over the last 30 years and had this blower on 3 machines. Here goes Cab tractor 46hp, deck, loader, blower...$42-44k. That number maybe close. Even with all the good competitive tractors now, in our area 3 and 4 series cab tractors are hard to get. Thank you for watching.
Great video! I am currently looking into that exact configuration! I currently have a 1025r with a soft cab and it's just too small for my liking. Would you mind sending me a message with the total price less the snowblower? I understand you use it on other units. Thanks for sharing and subscribed!
Benny Viola I think 36-40 thousand. The garage door is 94” to rubber weather strip 95” to a hard point. I measured it because I was debating getting a 4 series tractor. My machine has bigger r4s, they have smaller tires available. You have a great tractor if you get new measure tractor and door before buying. Thank you for watching.
what happen to the 4 series JD? ya Im a tractor fan got a 3520 and contemplating going for bigger. A M4066 baybe. Not many JD M4 videos. Im in northern Canada we usually get a lot more snow over here and always slippery ice at the bottom . Them industrial tire do not cut it on our turf unless you like to slide sideways while you blow snow. But I have a much heavier heavy duty blower on the back 3 point hitch with my loader on front for digging out the mailbox so you can see it .
The John Deere 4110 was an odd name that was not around for long. It's was a size just below the 3 series tractor. In the year 2000 the 4110 (23hp)was the next step up from my JD 455 (25hp) lawn and garden tractor. The 4110 was my first tractor with a loader and 2 range hydro transmission. I did look at 4 series tractor but they could not mount a front snow blower, mid mount mower deck and did not fit in my garage door opening. My tractor really pays its way by mowing my lawn, if i hired someone it would cost $130 a cut. I'd like to see a picture of your tractor and we love our Canadian friends. Merry Christmas, and Happy Holidays.
@@maraudermitchelli Yes forgot to wish you a merry Christmas and happy holidays too you and your family. Ya I should put some pictures or videos on my chanel we also have an 2017 850 touring sportsman and a 1000 general and had to put larger tires on them both . A 3 inch suspension lift and 3 inch wheel hub extenders on the 850 because our local trail here is deep mud and rock boulders . My wife and I are very private people so I do not post anything yet but maybe I will work on that through the holidays . My John Deere is an 2008 model and I bought it used with a few problems as a fixer upper it has full cab model and I put a new loader on it and got it fixed up but thinking of getting a little bigger newer John Deere maybe in future.
@@471shawn awesome machines. My family prefers not to be in my videos so I understand. Good luck with selecting a tractor, there's so many good models out there.
Frontier makes a loader mounted snowblower for the new 3 and 4 series tractors (SB2164 and SB2176 respectively) that uses a rear-PTO powered hydraulic pump for power, and companies like Erskine make a front mounted snowblower that is mechanically powered from your rear PTO. But you're looking at $10k a unit vs the $6-7k for the front three point hitch and snowblower on the 3 series. And you're right, with no mid-PTO the 4 series can only have a rear mounted mower or a bat-wing, both of which are a pain to maneuver and overkill unless you're mowing quite a large space. As for the RIO: 1. Turn key on but don't start the tractor. 2. Press and hold down the display mode button. (The button in the top middle that has the windshield wiper symbol on it). With this button held down, the code you need to enter with the turn signals is RLLRLR. 3. The screen now should say "ECU". Press the right turn signal 3 times to see "ICC" and select by pressing the display mode button. 4. Use the right turn signal to go to 014. 014 will say 01, if RIO is enabled. 5. Switch to edit mode by pressing the hazard button on and off within 2 seconds. 6.The right arrow changes the number, the left arrow switches to the other number, press the left arrow to move the cursor to the 1. 7. Press the right arrow until it says 0. Now both numbers should say 00. (you will need to cycle from 1, 2, 3, etc to 9 and then 0) 8. Press and hold the display mode switch for 3 seconds to exit. 9. For the change to take effect, shut the key off and wait a few seconds, then start. You won't have to hold the PTO switch again whether you're mowing or snowblowing.
Jack Norman old school equipment operator. When using heavy equipment like a bulldozer you push one way, back up for the next cut. For me it’s easier to backup than turn around...just my way. Great question!

Snap-Off Tools Studio I bought it new had it for 14 years , and in 10 months I forgot the exact numbers but here goes, John Deere 3034, open station 3 series with 33hp. Great tractor, but I needed a cab for snow blowing. Before that a jd 4110 23hp, jd 455 lawn garden 25hp first tractor craftsman 22hp lawn and garden. Sig 45 black and silver. Very nice carry gun, thin and small. I have so many Glocks mainly do to my reserve volunteer career I had to buy some metal qluality guns.
I read your questions 3 times to understand it, i'm slow this morning. Great question, i have a 3 car garage which holds my wife's car, my car, the tractor and 3 off road machines. My truck is outside in front of my trailer, my daughters Jeep and my Son's Charger. Ugh it funny how your life changes as your kids grow up. Pull up on PTO button and pinch open a wooden clothespin and insert under the button and then let go of button . You can run it the entire time using this trick and want kill the tractor. When job is done remove clothespin and push in button to turn off
marty ellis I can’t understand these silly safety features .... if your buying something like this or bigger..... I’d like to say those features are super irrelevant and downright annoying.... I hate these dumb people that some how back over their retarded dog or a child then blame manufacturers for their own stupidity or ignorance
I’ve only adjusted the depth guides once 15 years, but do adjust the angle every year when I mount it. I think it’s individual adjustments, sometimes I do use down pressure. Thank you for watching.
@@maraudermitchelli Well...I guess that I'm struggling to understand why you would buy a tractor that cost nearly 50K,but it's snowblower capacity is only a 5"inch wider cut then my 54"inch on my X-595 diesel with articulated steering,I also have a solid hard cab with heat, lights, wipers with variable speed.I payed a fraction of that 50K price,(14K out the🚪door)for the tractor, cab, blower, mower deck. The 24 hp.diesel doesn't slow down in 2 foot plus heavy packed snow. My drive way is over 600 feet long,I've cleared snow that was well over 2 foot deep well within a hour. I guess if you farm or ranch or live on a private road,I can see having a class-3 tractor like yours, but if this is all your doing with it,it should last forever.HAHA!!.
4 gauge ok good question. I’ve had this snowblower for 16 years. It started on a jd 4110 which would be a 2 series I believe now. The blower is the largest jd offers for its compact tractors, although it’s only 5” wider it’s taller and very heavy duty. The mounting systems are different for the smaller blower as they’re on smaller tractors with narrower frames which are lower to the ground. This blower was also used on my jd 3320 open station and now my 3046. Jd is not like Kubota which offers much wider blowers...this is a jd ism as they should. Kubota has fazed out the mid pto on the grand L compact tractors, my work 44hp Kubota has a mid pto for belly mower and snow blower but it’s 6 years old...I hear Kubota my bring back the mid pto. So it’s unusual to find a 46hp tractor with a mid mount mower that’s also a snow blower. I did not research kioti or other brands just Kubota. I’m researching a jd 4 series replacement tractor, no mid pto a hydro power pack runs off the rear pto and powers the front snow blower $13,500...too much for me.
4 gauge ok 👌 agreed not familiar with your machine but subcompact tractors are amazing, and I may get one on the future. They can do almost everything a larger tractor can but it may take slightly longer.
@@maraudermitchelli Its not a sub-compact,it's a heavy-duty shaft driven garden tractor, the smallest sub-compact is the 1026R,my X-595 diesel has articulated steering, which is a feature not available on any sub-compact,this allows my tractor to make extremely tight,z-track like turns,in the case of my X-595,it will make a 6"inch turn with a 62"inch 7-iron mower deck on it.(4-wheel power steering)
In the garage is wife’s car, my car, 2 atv’s a sxs and my tractor is parked in the third bay. Exploring a detached barn, but I really don’t want to spend the money.
Hi Greg, sometimes I do turn around and blow in two directions, but I prefer to reverse to reset as i do when I'm running a bull dozer. I appreciate your suggestion don't stop...maybe this winter you'll see me turn around. Ride in peace
Marauder, there is a bypass for the PTO RIO that allows you to just back up without disengaging the PTO. Here is what I found for my 3039r: ua-cam.com/video/pJQImLH5gzw/v-deo.html A couple of John Deere parts and maybe 5 minutes of time. Merry Christmas,!!
To me all this fancy equipment is a bit of overkill for just this driveway. You must have money to burn for tractors. Mean nothing mean or to criticize just my opinion
still crazy if you want a factory cab tractor it’s only a little overkill, Kubota has a cab tractor that’s a size or 2 smaller, other brands don’t. I’ve traded tractors up over the last 30 years from a craftsman 22hp lawn garden tractor. I must continue to work, and this tractor is one of my hobbies involving combustion engines. I don’t drink, I rarely travel, and I don’t play golf...I like to turn a key and build or maintain my property. Thank you for watching.

Essentially it’s a hobby gets me off the couch. Thank you for watching.
Tony Palombo you cannot use the loader without ballast to offset weight. My ballast box was 450lb, the beet juice is 825lbs and freezes at an extremely low tempt. Beet juice is preferred over salt mix. Tractor is much more stable ballast box would rock. Thank you for watching.

This is the type of content i like to se. Keep up the good videos, content
Thank you much, please spread the word.
Interesting. Just found your channel. Will have to checkout your other videos... Strange coincidence, my brother just moved about a mile from you over on long st. near the firehall. Keep up the great videos
Paul Dusett thank you glad you found my channel and hope you’re brother enjoys his new home. Happy New Years
First time on your channel...
(well almost everything...don't miss the taxes, gun laws and especially the politicians!!!)
Look forward to the next big snow, tractor video.
Jeff X you are not alone. I’m enjoy watching as well. An atv subscriber stated,”this was s crazy
I have a JD 870 with a JD quick switch blade on the loader with a Quick link I built and a JD 666 blower on the rear I wish I had a cab

Too many toys. I'm jealous! lol
Rain Coast maintaining them keeps me up at night, at least I don’t golf. Not that’s there’s anything wrong with golf! Thank you for watching.
Nice job Peter I left you a couple emails I hope you get them Great video as always
I read them Dean thank you
I like your background music . Doesn't override the video like some, easy listening.
Oddly satisfying video man, very cool! Gotta love NY! Grew up near Binghamton!
@@maraudermitchelli Haha! Well said! Merry Christmas!
should check to see if you can narrow up the stance of the tractor by flipping or swapping the tires (less driving over unplowed snow). a lot of times JD tractors will let you change your gauge by reorienting the tires
jetegtmeier71 only fronts on this years model, I did that on previous 3 series. I like the wider stance doesn’t effect snow removal you can watch my spacer video. Happy New Years
good job, man..
Dewdaahman thank you its great when viewers appreciate the efforts.

It's that time or year, we'll see what the future holds
Is that a standard 7 ft high garage door your tractor fits under? 👍👍👍
8 foot garage door 94.5” clear 🙂
Late to the party on this one. Awesome channel! What model blower is that?
Eric Petrie not sure of the model, it’s jds 59” blower, I’ve had it for over 18 years and it’s been on 2 of my tractors. Jd has been selling it for ever. Thank you for commenting😊
Just found your channel and subscribed. Your PTO issue should be able to be solved with a proximity sensor, my 1025r has one that I plug in when using the front pto only. If I go to rear and front it will kill the engine.
RB M it’s installed, worked last year but not working this year. Happy New Years
I have been thinking of upgrading from 2038r to 3039r. If you'd be kind enough to show and teach the inside of the cab.
Jon Stuart I actual did a five minute video of the interior of the cab.
When are you looking to purchase?

What suburb do you live in? I’m guessing OP? I live in west Seneca and love buffalos winters. Anyways nice video stay warm this week
ryan hunneshagen Clarence...glad you like the video stay safe!
you can install a back hook up snow blower
In South Dakota we get a couple feet at a time
The most I've seen is 7 feet twice in my lifetime.
Quite a piece of property....how far from downtown buffalo
thank you
This is the exact setup I want for snow removal. Whats a setup like this run?
Jim Jones I really can’t remember as I’ve traded up 4 tractors over the last 30 years and had this blower on 3 machines. Here goes Cab tractor 46hp, deck, loader, blower...$42-44k. That number maybe close. Even with all the good competitive tractors now, in our area 3 and 4 series cab tractors are hard to get. Thank you for watching.
Are you using Beet Juice in all wheels?
Ray Peel only the rear tires, about 430lbs per tire...works great o highly recommend it. Thank you for commenting. 😊
Looks like the snow blower isn't big enough to go be on the back tires.
Richard Mason correct i state that in most of my videos. No issues thought the setup works fine. Thank you 🙏🏻
what happen to the 4 series JD? ya Im a tractor fan got a 3520 and contemplating going for bigger.
As for the RIO:
(you will need to cycle from 1, 2, 3, etc to 9 and then 0)
8. Press and hold the display mode switch for 3 seconds to exit.
9. For the change to take effect, shut the key off and wait a few seconds, then start. You won't have to hold the PTO switch again whether you're mowing or snowblowing.
Nick R omg awesome just awesome!! Thank you happy New Years
Is there a cab control to deflect the tip of the discharge up or down?
Lee Lawrence no I wish it was, jd doesn’t sell one I may have to make one. If you find please forward, happy New Years
Why do you only blow going one way and back up the long way back?
Jack Norman old school equipment operator. When using heavy equipment like a bulldozer you push one way, back up for the next cut. For me it’s easier to backup than turn around...just my way. Great question!
Maybe he needs a snow blower on the rear too? :)
LIX 59 not funny...a little funny.
do you have a snow plow for that tractor?
mrbubetube no, but I’ve used the bucket to clear late snowfalls. The blower does a neat job. Maybe I’ll research a loader snow box blade. Thank you for commenting😊

@@maraudermitchelli oh darn. I'd love to see the 3046R plowing 3 feet of snow.
I see you have the r4 tires, how is the traction on snow?
Jose Antonio traction is good for snow, very good in mud and they are fine on grass. Turf tires are better in snow but they turn into donuts in mud.
Hello, please tell me how much such a new tractor with a cab and a snowplow costs, I want to buy it, you can help in the search and delivery to Moscow.

With the 3 series he can just override it completely from within the tractor's digital display. I posted how to do it in another comment.
Nick R very handy.. hope he sees this comment
tjlovesrachel I saw it amazing research, guys thanks for helping me!!!
Your snowblower scrapes right down to the pavement. Most tractor snowblowers don't do that.
I’ve only adjusted the depth guides once 15 years, but do adjust the angle every year when I mount it. I think it’s individual adjustments, sometimes I do use down pressure. Thank you for watching.
I don't understand...😕
That makes 2 of us...but i know i like it what ever it is!
You know you can actually change that in the ecu pretty easy I can teach you
SImpleSnoop thank you others have sent it to me...now I just cloths pin it up 🙂

A couple of John Deere parts and maybe 5 minutes of time.
