Red cans designate gasoline, yellow for diesel and blue for kerosene. It doesn’t matter to most people, until a fuel winds up somewhere it’s not suppose to be.

I'm the only one who uses my cans but I know what you are talking about. The new diesel spouts have a yellow cap and my gas can has a red cap. I'm pretty careful but will be sorry if I use the wrong can. Just trying to extend the life of the current ones until I have to buy new ones.

8:12 SHAME! There's nothing there to blow, and further You should be in fourth gear and RAMMING the snow into that blower. look at 8:12 and see how very thin the snow is coming out the top of the blower. (less than an inch from top to bottom) In fact that fluffy 6 inches maybe isn't even worth blowing. Just leave it 'til it amounts to something. Real shame to even start it! my god 8:44 it's not an inch, it's more like a quarter of an inch. What a waste. 10:22 you should be doing 15 or 20 miles per hour FORWARD, NOT IN REVERSE. 14:49 look at the auger... There's almost nothing in the auger. It's hardly working at all. Oh, TELL WID IT.

A bit of common sense can go a long way, but sissy, babying the equipment would likely have it last forever, and it will have to to get the damn job done! because that operator, has had the Be-Jesus scared him silly. He really needs to have someone with some real experience at optimizing equipment capabilities teach him what the equipment can actually do, and obviously you're not the one to do it. I'm curious Mark, I read through all the comments so I apologize if I missed it somewhere. I saw the cord still laying under the tractor, do you unplug the block heater before starting? It appeared that it might still be plugged, if so, it is a much better practice to unplug it before starting the engine or you will eventually burn out the heat element prematurely. Good videos by the way.

Maybe I can add some clarity here. The cold start he is referring to is when the temperature outside is cold and your machine hasn’t been plugged in or running for an extended period of time (at least 12 hrs). Just because an engine hasn’t been running for an hour isn’t considered a cold start it’s referred to as starting your engine, there’s nothing cold about it just because it hasn’t been running for an hour; it’s not at operating temps but not cold. The colder the outside temp gets the harder it is to start your engine unassisted (plugged in, heater or ether). Yes, cold start videos are a thing on you tube, guys showing how cold they can cold start there machines unassisted. The colder you can start your machine unassisted the more special and impressive it is so it becomes something of a brag factor. So in review you are wrong about everything you said ; cold start vids are a thing, it’s not cold when it hasn’t run for an hour and it is special cold starting a machine unassisted ( the colder the more impressive).
