Newcomer, your vid's are very informative, thank you, we are going to Cairns in December, also Palm Cove and Port Douglas, watched your vids on those also, really liked the hat your hubby got at Palm Cove markets, I would buy one the same but the market is only once a month there, 1st of December the next one, we miss it, not there until mid December. That seafood looks amazing and the price I thought was very good for the quality and portion you get, we will definitely being going there and trying that same platter as you guys had, thank you

That's awesome!!! The fruit is on the Hwy (Captain Cook) just after the airport heading North. You know about Rusty's Market? That is on Sheridan St Fri, Sat, Sun. The Tiger prawns at Coles and Woolworths at around $28.00 per kilogramme eaten at any table along the Esplanade in Cairns is far better value and fresher than the Prawn Star. I have eaten at the Prawn Star and sadly the prawns there are not so fresh, which is a real shame for tourists and locals.
They were very very fresh when we went!😋🦐 But totally up for Coles or Woolies prawns anywhere! We buy a 5kg box of frozen prawns from Preston Seafood and put it in the freezer to take out a kilo at a time for day trips 😋😋😋🦐🦐🦐

Microwave for a minute or two and leave them for five minutes and serve... cost of goods sold, about 25%, labour, about 30%, rent about 15% margin around 30%. Not a bad little earner.
