Thank you so much to both of you showing Cambodia to us. I was born in Cambodia. I left Cambodia 1979. I went back To visit Cambodia 4 times. But I didn’t have to chance to see a lot of places. I’m so glad that you both enjoy Khmer foods and fruits. Thanks again for visiting Cambodia.
Our pleasure!🥰 It's so cool to be able to show you some of your country!!! It must be bitter sweet for you. It always makes us feel good when we can be of value to someone in your position. We love Khmer food so much!!! Thank you for telling us your story 😊Stay safe and have a great day!!! If there is anywhere you want to see in particular let us know so we can try next time 🥰🥰🥰🇰🇭🇰🇭🇰🇭
Awesome video we are flying in this Saturday is it nice and warm there.. we stay at the mantra esplanade are Rusty’s markets much of a walk from there never knew they were there 😊
Hi Jake!!! 🤠Yes very recent! We just made it a couple of weeks ago! Yes it will still be busy but busy up here is still chill😊The weather is incredible! So happy you are coming up and that you enjoyed the video!!! Have a great day! 🤠🌴
Thanks so much for making these vids, It is so refreshing to see some real folks! I come to Cairns next week on my first ever solo trip from Victoria. Super excited, also scared of the reef but doing it anyway! You have given me a great idea of what to expect on the Esplanade. Love it and the birds too :)
That's sooo exciting!!! It is such a beautiful time of year too!!! The reef is amazing!! You are going to absolutely love it! So happy for you 🤠😁Have fun!!!!
I used to live in Cairns in 1989. Wow how it has changed. I miss it there so much but may be coming back within the year. It was such a small town when I left. I can’t get over how it’s blossomed.
It has changed a lot!!!! We came here from Darwin in 1991 to visit family and it was like a small town. It is the perfect size now. You have every thing you need to be happy 😁 Restaurants, nature, markets, swimming holes, good hospital and a getting better all the time international airport 🥰🥰🥰We really love it! You will notice more aircon and less cane toads😂😂😂
@vintagefoodfarm from Hinchinbrook Island to Cooktown to Lake Tinaroo.. truly a fisherman's paradise.. looks like the wets on its way.. Raining at Earlville
Hi from a 53 yr old Townsville local. That was really well done, I don't think I've seen a walk tour so chilled & informative 🙂 I haven't been North of Innisfail for 30 yrs. Do they still have the Steam Train going up to Kuranda? I know there is a Skyrail. I would love to see a tour of the Train & Skyrail 🤞my Husband & I can bring our Grandson's up this year.
Glad you enjoyed it! That is so cool! Yes they still have the train! 😁That's a great idea for a video! We will do it after we get back from our Vietnam holiday🥰🥰🥰
Had a month long tour of Australia in November just/ Wow I loved Cairns so much. Our days were mapped out as it was a tour from the UK. The people were lovely. We did a snorkel trip to Michaelmas Cay on the reef. Absolutely stunning. We visited Karunda rain forest by train beautiful scenery did a rainforest river walk & some of the village at the top. We came back down by the sky train. Wow. Had my photo in the precinct with Father Christmas. I just loved Cairns but tons more to see if I become rich enough to fly back to Australia its a fantastic place. Ps am an oldie but kept up the pace.
Hahaha!!! Keeping up the pace😆Good on you! It is a very special place and we rave about it too much but we love it! So happy you had a good time here and fingers crossed you win lotto soon and can come back!! 😁

Who knows might see you Guy's round Cairn's all the best and Thank's for share of your lovely Video's !!! Brian UK !!!.😀😀👍👍💦💦.
What?? No more flying foxes? The highlight of my many trips to Cairns was to watch the foxes fly down in their thousands from the cooler highlands at dusk from my hotel balcony. I always get rooms facing the mountains for that specific reason. A sight to behold. Might have to go to Gordonvale from now on...😢
@vintagefoodfarm 40 or above. And we rarely ever get up anywhere near 40 not on the coast anyway. Adelaide, on the other hand, for example, experiences many 40+ days during summer.
Prawn Star OMG ! super expensive. Take your Bank Manager with you or you will leave without an arm or a leg. My one and only trip to Cairns those mud flats stunk like hell...very disapointing . Mind you that was 40 years ago. Your vids gives us a whole different perspective.
Hahahaha!! It was worth every cent! 😋😋😋When we came in the early 90's we thought it was a dump. Not sure if Cairns has changed or we have but it is now stunning. Mud flats don't stink anymore (no idea why). Still mossies and sand flies, a lot less cane toads. It is a very beautiful, still somewhat wild, region 😊
Cairns bella cittadina organizzatissima per il Coral reef con Quicksilver ,la grande piscina nel 1995 non c'era, ricordo la bassa marea e i pellicani sul lungomare in mezzo alle persone ,molto carina Cairns
Yes, the biggest Covid increase was hotel accommodation. Have been going to Cairns every winter for 50 nights over the last 2 decades. 80-120% increases across the board in hotels. Rustys market prices still ok, restaurant prices up 25-30%. Decreases inevitable as tourism stabilises, and Covid losses recouped, but like Darwin, the great winter escape is now a very costly exercise.
The bats are smelly, loud, dirty and have that disease. In Brisbane, at dusk they take off in search of fokd, its an amazing sight, but pretty gross also. So to have them inner city would be gross.
@@vintagefoodfarmI found this one super interesting. I'm living in Footscray area in Melbourne and when I holiday I'm always craving Asian spicy food. Thanks for the video ❤
cairn is absolutely paradise.
It so is!!! 🤠

It is not HOT here in summer, it's HUMID. We never get as hot as it does down south.

@vintagefoodfarm 40 or above. And we rarely ever get up anywhere near 40 not on the coast anyway. Adelaide, on the other hand, for example, experiences many 40+ days during summer.

Is the weather nice there now
Very cool at night and then glorious in the day 😁
Will be thee in January 2024 around the 12-20, what weather can we expect
STUNNING GREEN, warm weather with warm tropical rain storms. It is the wildest time of year but it is exciting and beautiful!
Have you been to the Dundee's restaurant? It's awesome ❤
No! 😭 We should do a video there 😋😋😋
It's too hot up there.
It is very hot lol 🤠
Just a pity everything is so expensive 😮
Really?! Where are you from? 🤠

Hi, what month was this film at?
End of June in the middle of the dry season😁
Amazing, how come the grass is so green, it hasn't rained much at all, correct?@@vintagefoodfarm
We do get some rain but its the tropics so it's more humid which helps😁
Is living in Cairns safe?
Besides a rare cyclone, very 😁We feel safer here than any other of the many places in Australia we have ever lived
Hi I’m gonna go to cairns and looking for a job (1 Nov 2023) u got job offer
We don't sorry 😔
The bats are smelly, loud, dirty and have that disease. In Brisbane, at dusk they take off in search of fokd, its an amazing sight, but pretty gross also. So to have them inner city would be gross.
