Hey, I'm looking to change careers, really sorry for the newbie question but once I do the acs course and recive the certificate will that mean I can apply for gas work or will there be further qualifications needed ?
Question.... on an unvented cylinder that has an expansion vessel correctly sized for its capacity, if it had a secondary looped fitted to it which was very long, say over 100 metres, would you have to recalculate the vessel size of the cylinder as you'd be adding 100metres of 15mm pipe which holds x amount of water which would technically increase the size of the cylinder and its technical capacity, have asked this question on my unvented and never get a straight answer. ..
Hi Phillip, as you say you are adding to the volume of water so I would say you would need to calculate the volume, then resize the vessel accordingly.
I attended a training course ran by Roy a few years ago when he worked for Baxi, Really enjoyed it, he’s got a good training style.
Enjoyed. Clear. N precise 👍
Great video. Appreciate your time and bringing up the standards.
Thank You.

very good
Excellent video 👍
I've always wondered why D1 pipework is limited to 600mm. Mains pressure would push it down a pipe 900mm just as easy as 600mm???

I recently re-sat my unvented & the trainer said that really on a service you/we are “supposed” to remove the immersion & descale!….. err no thanks!
I wouldn’t do that either. 😂
Hello algorithm
Thank You
