5 years ago tomorrow my Dad passed away. 10/8/19 we will catch one for the old man 🎣

My Dad
Oldest brother of 3 brothers .... and surrogate Father to many..., including his brothers .... AND to a lot of MY friends
Husband / Grandfather and Great Grandfather / Uncle and friend.
Hot Rodder / gear head / pilot / aircraft mechanic / SCUBA diver / Hang Glider / Zip Liner / fisherman / Waterskier / snow skier / Master Camper / motorcyclist / Roller Skater / Gold Minor /
Fix ANYTHING guy... /
Jazz Drummer and all around bad ass Engineer.... he worked on the stuff that went to the moon / Spy in the sky/ Missile Defense / he was a Pilot / not to mention a Rebel ! Sometimes a bit of an outlaw...

Lived till 91 years old... I think he did alright.....,
It’s funny how little things trigger memories and they come rushing back to you.
Still..., When I drink a cup of coffee and eat an egg sandwich the memories of Fishing with Ed come rushing back. After cutting bait, reading charts and getting motion sickness..., He would share a cup of coffee with me and give me a bite of an egg sandwich (this was His way to fix my motion sickness)....,
He would put us in harms way, Scare the crap out of me AND ...one of his friends, but ...... some how bring us back to a safe harbor.

He was and is the master of his own ship.
