The footage of Bob trying to get help is so heartbreaking 😢

@@savannar3632 Heartbeaking is putting it mildly it has to be absolutely devastating to** Bob's Family** and it was captured by surveillance cameras like I couldn't be in the same room with this family knowing what's to be revealed 🙏😇🙏

I hope Bob’s family gets justice. You don’t get to just stab someone and walk away.
That is more common than people think. Especially in cities that coddle criminals. Police need to be out on the street and able to do their jobs. Leadership must have the backs of police. They don't.
@@ganymeade5151 They go full slash and puncture with reckless abandon, just look at the UK.
Well California
This is a cultural/family thing, Annie.
In a lot of cultures, a family’s reputation means EVERYTHING. I’ve read so many instances of parents
m-rdering their own children or siblings m-rdering the other due to the shame they brought on the family.
That is exactly why this guy k-lled Bob Lee 😞
That’s exactly what I was thinking
I take specific issue with these middle eastern people wanting to live it up in the free world but want to pull the cultural card when free world things happen to them. The family all lawyered up because in the U.S. this is called accessory after the fact. They are all complicit and i hope that Nima doesn't get off on manslaughter.
I agree.
TOTALLY agree !
Spot on!
the SF former fire commissioner that was attacked, it turned out that he was attacked by a man defending himself.
the ex-commissioner's name is Don Carmignani. He got caught doing at least a dozen serial attacks on homeless people he found sleeping rough over the course of months. Several of his attacks were caught on video, quite a few others reported to police, but not caught on film
It seemed like he just decided he'd "clean up the streets" around his home, his mom's home, and anywhere else he walked regularly
He would go out with a mask on and a big can of BEAR MACE - which can kill people - and blast them in their faces, usually while they slept
He would then also rob them, and the ones who had pets, he bear maced their pets too
A lot of outlets with a certain bias reported on Don Carmignani being attacked, but then elected to not clarify any of the really shocking background that quickly came to light
Really sickening stuff... Attacking homeless people for fun. The day he got attacked with the steel bar, he was coming up on a man he'd already attacked twice in the past. The man recognized him, with his distinctive large build, mask, hat, and the giant can of bear spray in his hand.
Rather than get attacked and robbed for a third time, the homeless man flipped the script, and broke Don Carmignani's jaw instead
It upsets me that almost no attention has been given to this, and that I haven't heard a peep about Don Carmignani facing charges for serially strongarm robbing and assaulting homeless people with a potentially deadly weapon
the DA is still looking to charge the man who defended himself against carmignani, saying that he went overboard, or something... like, you're allowed to defend yourself, but he should have stopped at 3 licks, rather than 4... like you wouldnt be completely out of your mind with adrenaline pumping when you;re defending yourself against some giant man whose attacked you and robbed you for no reason at all, multiple times... and the DA is also showing no interest at all, in charging carmignani over his horrible crimes. for real, attacking random homeless people, that's just like preying on children. going after the specific population that has no means of defense. sickening case. carmignani needs to be prosecuted, and the homeless man needs to be left alone
the amount of people who consider the homeless generally dangerous actually blows my mind
Holy shit
@@rhiannonoshea9203 yea... I live in NY, we've got really robust social safety nets here, at least by USA standards... most people here can acquire SOME kind of housing, even if they simply refuse to work, without a recognized disability to receive benefits in account of.
And those who can't, or are working on it, there are shelters... But, I have heard that the men's shelter is, as they are most places, a pretty nasty place. Anything you have is liable to get stolen, even something as worthless as some paperback book you got for free.
People say it's the same atmosphere as prison, as staff don't go on the floor, so the biggest and baddest, or those who have a group, can just kind of dominate whoever and get what they want. A lot of men will elect to stay on the streets, find some abandoned structure to camp in, rather than stay at the shelter
It is a shame that CA gets such a bad rap for "their" homeless problem. Southern California is where homeless people from all over the USA who have to sleep rough tend to gravitate towards, because the climate allows you to remain outdoors year-round, where most other places, you absolutely need some place to go during the winter
But yeah, I am a man and I'm 240 lbs so I don't typically feel much danger out on the street, but I am in an economically blighted area, our major industry here is "human services," i.e. administering the programs and services for disabled folks, recently paroled and released prisoners, homeless, etc...
There are some places where homeless-looking people tend to be at and they panhandle, sure, but I've never been approached aggressively or anything
I've been lightly harassed a handful of times here and there within the city, but never by homeless or anything. It's always been like, slightly too aggressive, young gay dudes, lol
Which I don't expect is necessarily a problem most MEN face anyway... I know women and girls face this kind of thing, everywhere, all the time... I just have an appearance that men who are into men seem to appreciate. And I maybe smile at people too freely, give some the wrong idea
Omg that is horrifying!! Bear mace? I never even knew that was a thing. That is so crazy to do that to innocent people. Wow, I'm kinda lost for words really.....
I've been a paralegal in family law in Silicon Valley for over 30 years. We deal a lot with Southeast Asian divorces etc. Mostly people in Tech. You are never just dealing with, for example, the wife. You're dealing with the whole family. It's unbelievable how many people you have to talk to to get any kind of consensus to go forward with important decisions in the case. A lot of the time an email will be made just for the case and then the whole family both here and in India or Turkey, for example, has input. I finally had to put my foot down and say each family member had to use a different color font. We also had to get signed releases for the various relatives to be on these email containing case info for the person who hired us. When we found out who it was that is believed to have murdered Bob Lee, it made total sense. The thing that makes me super sad, not that anybody deserves to go down who wasn't perpetrator the kind of crimes usually covered, is that he was, by everybody's account, a really nice guy.
This. Cultural.
Southeastern Asian that sucks I thought Americans or European rules that area ,those guys are good to build replicas on any tech lately that is sucks, don't get me wrong I'm not racist not even a white dude here but I know about technology 🙏 have a bless day today 🙏
Nice doesn’t mean good.
I was in San Francisco for a company offsite the same week this happened. I hadnt been to the city since pre-covid and to say it has changed for the worst is an understatement. My hotel was in a "good" part of downtown and when I parked in my $300 night hotel garage (which cost an extra $50 per day to do) there was a sign above the space that said *"Please take any valuable belongings with you. There is a 70% chance that your vehicle will be broken into and this hotel is not responsible for any theft that occurs in this parking garage"* walking to the office 2 blocks away every morning and afternoon was horrible. There were two people in sleeping bags right in front of the door of the hotel one morning that you had to step over to get out who truly smelled like the strongest urine you could imagine. There are people smoking crack in the street, you have to watch where you step because there are used needles everywhere. One day two naked men were sitting cross-legged playing pattycake with their hands on the corner. The scariest was on the way back to the hotel at like 6pm and one crazy dude had a makeshift knife and was erracticly walking around swinging it yelling at nobody and everybody. I work in tech and so after the news about Bob's death (not far from where I was staying) I honestly can't see myself going back there anytime soon. The city is destroyed, and it is truly heartbreaking because it was once the most vibrant, beautiful and innovative city ihe world. 😢

It's so infuriating that no one that saw him didn't call 911!!

A fascinating thing happened today in the city by the Bay...attorney Paula Canny made a motion to withdrawal as Momeni's lawyer. The motion was granted. Now who will Momeni retain? The other high profile defense attys are already representing the family. Very interesting but very sad situation.
I've quickly became addicted to your channel! You never disappoint. I love how you share these victims stories with such grace and respect 🥰
Oh, the former Fire Commissioner for SF that was attacked, Don Carmignani... it turns out Carmignani had been going out at night, serially attacking homeless people at random with bear spray (which is potentially fatal for humans), strongarm robbing them of their little cash, ID cards, and other possessions, even attacking their pets, blasting innocent dogs with bear spray, just to terrorize their owners.
A lot of biased outlets covered his attack, but then slept on reporting any of the details that came out about it later.
The man who lumped Carmignani with a steel bar, had been attacked by Carmignani in the past. Carmignani was approaching him, masked up, bear mace in hand, prepared to attack him again, when the homeless man popped up and beaned him.
Carmignani has been hiding, he didn't press charges, because he seems to be terrified of the full truth of all the attacks he perpetrated coming to light.
Just wanted to clarify that one because that case was not at all what it was presented as originally. Sadly, the DA, last I knew, was still keen on charging the homeless man who defended himself against serial attacker Don Carmignani.
i saw that on TikTok, it hurt my heart
I saw info about that and it’s WILD!! That commissioner should be investigated and prosecuted to the highest extent! If it is indeed true
@@perfectlyyoubeauty yeah for real, imagine what other kinds of nonsense he's been pulling throughout his life too? I mean, I doubt law abiding men decide one day when they're 50 to go out and start doing serial crimes... I would bet that he's been engaging in some kind of extreme nastiness at every stage of his life. And, as he did with who he selected as his victims in San Francisco, he calculated to minimize risk... After all, had he not made the mistake of pulling up on the same dude three times, he'd have slipped by unnoticed for this as well - the self-defense attack on Carmignani was the inciting incident that got him caught for what he'd been doing.
And he isn't stupid, he tried to slip into obscurity after being worked over with that crowbar, not wanting to press charges, recognizing that this could be what gets him caught, and wanting to just let sleeping dogs lie in hopes he could drift back into anonymity.
I got to wonder if there weren't any unsolved strings of arsons in any of the areas that Carmignani operated as a Fire Marshall all those years. I doubt he just hates the homeless so specifically that these are the first antisocial acts he's done.
Nah, he's a man who likes to hurt people. Someone with low self-esteem, a man who feels less-than and always has, and the only reprieve he gets from the torture of his mind, is those fleeting moments when he is out there hurting someone, dominating them, getting that feeling of superiority that he NEEDS
Hopefully if someone once noticed anything like that, they speak up now, now that what Carmignani is, is known to all.
😳
😮😮
Watching he stagger around asking for help is absolutely heartbreaking. I recognize that at 3 am a staggering man on the street would spook most people, but I can’t help but feel he could have been saved. Totally senseless
I could never just drive off!! And for that person to not even call 911??!! Seriously???!!!
He should not fuck that woman.
he's a Man people aren't sympathetic to help a man in trouble it's sad but thats society.
either way it's a tragic loss of life. terrible.
If yall had ever been to the sketchy parts of SF, you'd probably understand more. There's so many people cracked out and f'd up in the tenderloin it's like a zombie hoard, crime is really bad and people pretend to be injured to jump others all the time. I saw someone running by with a pencil/pen/something simular stuck thru their eye once... Idk if I would've stopped either and I'm usually up for helping anyone.

I am LOVING your Podcast. I listen at work and watch on UA-cam when I am home! Congratulations! Much love, Annie! You’re the best.
Omg! That poor man tried to get help from the people in the area, but NONE of them even attempted to call an ambulance or something! He could have possibly survived….
That’s so disgusting. I understand that it can be scary to see someone who is panicked and in distress, but it’s so disappointing that people just think someone else will do it. You can’t do that. That person is somebody’s child, friend, or loved one. What if it’s your sister or brother who was dead and was trying to find help?
Sadly that is the state San Francisco is in, it has lost the trust as a community because of the out of control crime spree. It’s not a safe place and chances are people are panicking that they could get attacked too. Bob should have been saved but his cry for help was left unanswered because that is how scared people are to do something to help.
Somebody did call. You heard the call on here.

Paula, the defense attorney was so annoying to listen to. Most defense attorneys in high profile cases come across as condescending but her especially so.
I honestly missed everything she said because I was focused on her earring holes being off. 😂😂
She was so obnoxious to listen to. She'd say something and then refuse to clarify what she meant by anything she said. She sounds like she doesn't even know what she's talking about. I'd be mad if she was my lawyer. 🙄🤦♀️
Yeh she sounded like a child who was caught in a lie or a bluff
She got fired or quit
Agree! I had to fast forward to get past her.
The lawyer insinuating that bob drugged her is quite the stretch considering she was communicating and spending so much time with him and even apologizing to him for her brothers actions. Is that not defamation?
She quit/ or got fired
It must be heartbreaking for his family to know he was trying to get help 😭
Police were nowhere to be found. That enables crime. People need to report these things anonymously. Sadly, most people probably thought he was drunk. Some just didn't care. SF was one of the most beautiful and safest cities in the world. Not anymore.

Brilliant narration of an American tragedy. I lived in San Francisco in 1994 and left part of my heart ❤️ there...Greetings from Dublin, Ireland 🇮🇪
I was born, and have lived most of my life about 40 miles North of San Francisco. When I was a teenager and all through my 20s, San Francisco was an amazing city. I've been all over this country, and I always felt that San Francisco was the most beautiful city of all. Seattle was a close 2nd. I went to New York City for the first time in my 20's and thought it was dirty and disgusting. I did not like it at all. In my 30's, I started focusing more on my career and family and didn't go to San Francisco much. I am 47 now, and I'm not sure exactly when it happened, but San Francisco is so dirty and full of homeless people and drugs and human shit on the sidewalks. There are tents everywhere, and people clearly messed up on hard drugs. They are scarry because they will jump out in front of you and sometimes even grab onto you. I went to New York City for the first time since my late 20's last month and it was a beautiful, clean city compared to San Francisco. I didn't see tents all over the sidewalks or human shit or drug paraphernalia. Even with millions more people there, it is so much nicer than San Francisco.
I used to be so proud of San Francisco and felt so lucky to live so close to such an amazing city. It breaks my heart to see how much it has declined. I do believe in having empathy for those less fortunate, but why should that mean letting people camp out and shoot up drugs on the sidewalks? I wish we could just take some land and create a camp with services for the homeless. They don't belong on the streets of our city. It's not an appropriate place to live. It's not safe. It's not sanitary, it's bad for business and not fair to the people who live and work in the city. I just don't understand why we can't clear them out, as long as we give them somewhere safe to go?
Ask Biden.

Could be that people can’t afford the rents. Where are people supposed to go after rent goes from $600 to $2600 in two years. Even here in Hayward rents are high I am scared to death if I ever have to move because I can afford rent, but I wouldn’t be able to qualify the 3x the amount you need to move in. 98% of my money goes to my rent.
I love Sonoma county
I’m also 47 and from the Bay, but the East Bay. I can’t remember the last time I was in SF, but have had no desire to go after hearing such terrible things for so long. Which is sad, because I used to enjoy going out there just to drive around or hit up Amoeba Records. I am going to The Warfield later this month for a show, though. I hate the rude ass, loud ass people on BART (public transit for those who don’t know), so I’ll be driving. Hopefully I make it back alive. 😆
SF Chronicle reports that Momeni's lawyer dropped him as a client on Tuesday. They earlier reported he was seriously rage-filled, heavy drug user in financial freefall.
OK. The only thing missing here is Momeni had a fling with Bob himself and flew into a rage cuz Bob had a connection w/the sister.
I think there are so many twists in this case. My gut tells me it comes down to money. The brother wanted money .. he was a try hard and lied about going to Berkeley. The whole thing is weird especially the heart gesture in the court room between the brother, his sister and her husband.
The Chronicle reported that he is also accused of 🔪 two teens i 2005 over a 💉 💊 ❄ dispute.

Hi Annie, just my input on Nima's weird possessiveness over his sister:
I am Persian and by Nima's name and last name I can tell that he is persian. I hate to contribute to the stereotype but unfortunately many Middle Eastern men, be it uncles, fathers, brothers, husbands or even cousins believe they have a sense of ownership over women. His behavior doesnt surprise me one bit.
I was thinking the same thing about his heritage and feelings about the women in their family, but, if it were about the sister, wouldn't Nima have done something to her for bringing shame to the family?
@@DeniseWilliams-mu7ex not necessarily. Some male family members are just overbearing and controlling like the brother. It doesn't necessarily have to do with religion since many persians aren't religious (not counting the government).
For example, my own father was super controlling and strict when I was growing up. Heaven forbid I had a boyfriend in high school. The behavior is more like dictating and controlling your life. It's a double standard. The things my brother could do I couldn't for example. The men in our culture feel like they own us and what we do in our lives. Not every man is like that but most are.
So right!!!! I absolutely HATE it

I find it ridiculous that the lawyer is doing all these interviews but saying barely anything.. To also attack a dead man is horrible regardless of his life style choices.. The brother potentially killing him because of what the victim and his sister were doing is weird.. Unless the sister has claimed things have been done non consensually.
She is saying a lot, as far as I am concerned, by NOT saying a lot and some of he wording is why I think Mina is guilty. Not just because we see him. Which in itself makes him guilty.

Wondering if this was a twisted honor killing? Normally you would hear about the sister being killed in these cases but because Bob was a friend maybe Nima felt dishonored by Bob’s actions 🧐
Absolutely… I think you are completely onto something. This is the first thing I thought of when I listen to Anne explain how confused she is about the , “why” of it all. It’s a kind of honor killing in reverse.
That was my very first thought
I just saw another interview by this elderly smart mouthed lawyer and she keeps saying how long she’s done this and all her experience. Lady, you can do a job your entire life the wrong way. 😂
ok well she's not "elderly". Far from it. She just looks like a lesbian skeleton.
I just found this podcast today and I love it. Well I I kinda knew about it because I’ve seen my wife watching it, and every time she would be watching/listening to it I would be right there next to her glued and idk why I never looked her up but I’m glad I rediscovered it and I’m definitely a big fan! ❤🎉
Annie , thank you for breaking this case down. I had not understood what was going on with from jump. Very wild case. My sympathies to Bob’s family. He was obviously a brilliant man.
I understand why no one helped. I live in SF and it's littered with homeless and crime. Seeing someone staggering and walking around like he did is very common. I have seen people call for help but it turns out they want to rob you. Lately, there have been people stealing your dogs as you walk them. The city isn't safe anymore and every store is closing because of it.
😢
Flip it around and your daughter, son or someone you know is staggering around needing help... Are you going to still understand why no one helped them??
Thought the same. Soooo many addicts and volatile ppl on the streets in SF. Even stopping to give change feels dangerous these days. I don’t think ppl outside of NorCal can fully comprehend the transformation of the city in the past 5 years.
@@alandrosstettina1843 Most people aren't going to risk their own lives in the middle of the night on the streets of SF.. you can't blame someone for trying to protect themselves.. it's really the problem of the failing city allowing the city to become a shithole that people are too afraid to help someone anymore.
@@alandrosstettina1843 obviously youre not living in SF because every native knows that hanging around after 9pm will get your ass in trouble. Everything is closed after 7pm. Cops are everywhere but they just hang out and do nothing. Looters come to the store everytime you go shopping. Malls are closing up cuz of the crime. Best believe none of my family are out at night in the city.
Wow! I’ve been hoping for someone to cover this, and I’m so excited that it’s you, Annie, you just do it so well! Thanks for the hard work you do to get these cases out!,
Hello gorg! Thank u sooo much for all ur videos. Love how thorough they are and how u follow up w them and keep us all posted. Love ya. ❤
love your channel and breakdowns/explanations 😊 this case has me captivated. sad and fascinating. I hope Bob Lee's family gets justice. be well.
San Francisco sadly is running rampant . although it wasn’t connected to this murder , they do need a massive overhaul . It’s going downhill.
It’s a Democrat run city.
A lot of the problem is it has become so expensive. People that used to be able to live there can’t anymore. Affordable housing is almost non existent. And unless you already have wealth, salaries have not increased with the expense of the city. When people are desperate, all bets are off.
Nima Momeni immigrated from Iran with his mother and sister, leaving the father behind. It's not surprising he would become the patriarch of the family, trying to keep his sister in line, and protecting the family name. Never mind that he supposedly has a drug addiction himself, but there are always different standards for males compared to females in their society.
I thought this may have played a role as well.
Great point. Honor killings are something that happen in certain cultures.
I Came here to comment this. This is was I think too!
It’s often the brothers job to watch the sisters so they don’t hurt the family’s reputation. And if they do something wrong, its often the brothers job to fix it too.
But it’s rare that the sister still is alive after something like this..
Absolutely 💯. I was married into an Iranian family for 5 years. It's a completely different culture.
Thank you for keeping us in the loop gal pal much respect stay safe
You help me gett through my long days cleaning offices and beach rentals so I appreciate you, and you’re content so much! ❤
I used to clean a huge church. I wish I would have known about her channel then.
This is so sad. He was so kind to people who knew him. Some of my friends were close with him and have just been devastated over this horrendous and heinous crime. Seeing the footage of him trying to find help and nobody would help him is just heartbreaking. Also, ketamine isnt a huge deal here as people often get IV treatments and the lozenges to take at home.
Yeah, in Australia they do infusions for chronic pain patient's ❤️❤️❤️🌷🌷🌷🙏🙏🙏
Ketamine treatments for what??
@@justsamantha1833 google it
@@justsamantha1833 chronic pain etc 🙏🙏🙏
Ketamine isn't a BIG DEAL😂!!! Perhaps in a proper medical situation it isn't but using it for recreation is a big deal. The drug problem in this country is a big deal! I don't think Bob deserved to die due to his drug use but you hang out with low end individuals and you are going to eventually get low end results. This is common sense. Make better choices of what you feed your mind, body and soul.
If your sister is living the lifestyle maybe take that up with her. You can’t kill everyone that she chooses to be with. She wasn’t a 16 year old girl that was taken advantage of.
I don’t know their religion but it sounds like it was about their family’s reputation. The sister do often “disappears” though. But they can have talked with the family and decide that it’s enough to take care of that person who “destroyed” his sister. Eeeeven if it was her own idea. Sadly.
This. This comment right here says it all 👌🏻
Exactly!!
Great episode! I don't know how you have time to do so much! And you do such a great job! So thorough! Thank you for your work!!!
Listening from the office ❤You are so thorough in all you do, THANK YOU!
For this defense attorney being so "experienced", she seems to let alone of shit fall out of her mouth. Then when she's called on it, she has that goofy smile and then dramatically refuses to answer. I'm curious to see how she can dig her and her client out of all these clearly damning statements.
And she's just unlike able and bass a boring voice...
She was fired/quit a few days go.
I have never seen a woman with a hairline like the Lawyer Paula whatever...this is a man's hairline !
Not at all. She's good. Maybe you are, like, ignorant?
@@cynthiakluth7748 Camera and lighting. You see it all the time.
I would be so mad at my lawyer for going on tv and talking about my case. The lawyer wants her 15 minutes of fame
Not to be mean. But her hair line is distracting me from what she is saying. Maybe she has alopecia. But it’s distracting.
@@carolinasones1541 😂😂😂
I would as well but i see what she’s trying to do. She’s trying to instill doubt and understanding in people’s mind before the trial so a potential juror might see.
I understand what she's trying to do but she did it poorly 31:18
that would be unethical and grounds for case to be dismissed.
Followed and rated the podcast 🎉 I can’t believe you’re not at a million followers yet. You’re seriously the best.
The fact that the husband is still standing by the wife and they both lawyered up, is also super suspicious.
Definitely
Thank you so much for covering this. I live in SF near where he was stabbed. Its a beautiful neighborhood. But for the first few days we were all convinced that he was stabbed by a random homeless crazy person because this area has a big homeless community. The owner of the convenience store opposite our building said that Bob used to live here and was familiar with the neighborhood.
What was he doing on that neighborhood in the first place. , and the time of stabbing . Wouldn't you think, he will be at home sleeping?
That attorney should have been a politician
I’ll vaguely describe a situation and not elaborate on the things that don’t make sense on purpose and you just need to take my word for it
Thank you for your hard work.
Absolutely love you!! The details, information and the way you tell everything 👍🏼. Thanks and love ❤️ from the UK 🇬🇧 xxx
In middle eastern and southeast Asian communities, the men in the family control all the women in the family. They are expected to defend the reputation of the family. In some cultures you see “honor” killings where the woman is killed. In this instance, the brother, who may consider himself the patriarch of the family, is removing the person that he perceives has defiled his sister, who he considers cannot make her own decisions.
that's what I said.. when you know of honour killings and hear how any why they happen - the motive was simple to me.. Here in the UK with big middle eastern and southeast Asian communities you hear of these in the news, sadly the crime is against the woman in the family.
Yeah well new country new rules
@@chocolatefudge5263 - I wasn’t condoning it, but just trying to explain it to the content creator who seemed so mystified by it. It is strange to us, but when you look at other cultures it’s their norm. Women in the US have their own problems, but they’re nothing compared to cultures where they are treated like children or property.
The siblings appear to be of Iranian descent which could explain Nima’s over protectiveness of his sister though she’s a full grown adult and married. It might be a honour thing which is fairly common in several cultures.
Thank you for your excellent reporting
Awesome, Annie! Great content as always!
There is certain cultural where brothers will “defend their sisters/families honor “ if they feel the behavior is wrong. And I don’t know if this is the case here but I certainly hope not because we don’t need or want that here!
Annie i just want to say its been a absolute pleasure to see this channel grow. You are so good at what you do. Your delivery, commentary is truly unmatched. You never fail to leave me a new episode almost every other day, i just feel like i really know you in real life, like were talking on the couch. Again keep up the good work! ❤
Love your graphics and contents ❤
Nima also seemed to be living beyond his means. A 'fake it till you make it' lifestyle. I wonder if Dino financially supported him directly or via his sister. Divorce could jeopardize that.
The Lifestyle is well known here in Silicon Valley. It’s odd how this has become the most important point of this case.
The victim-shaming has to stop! Thank you for calling out that victim-blaming is NEVER ok and not acceptable under any circumstances. Whether or not drugs and alcohol contributed to this or any death is completely irrelevant if someone is murdered without cause.
Xoxo luv the delivery way of your truth telling scenarios.
Love ur podcast!❤
I totally get why he would attack Bob over his sister. Angry abusive controlling men always have issues with someone messing around with their sister. The dude saw it as an insult to his family. He mob style decided to take Bob for a walk and teach him a lesson.
I started following your podcast on Prime but I have to watch YT to see your face 😀 You have grown on me so much and now one of my absolute favorites ❤ Keep glowing!
Idk why but I don’t like just listening to a podcast. With Annie and MrBallen I only watch videos, podcasts just don’t work for me lol
What a crazy story. All the details are shocking. It could nearly be a movie!!
Love your style reporting ,and your videos!
How old was this woman? Yea, exactly. There comes a time in life when you don't need to defend your sister's honor. She becomes old enough to decide if she has any honor at all or not. I honestly think there was more to it. Perhaps the guy already had ill feelings toward Bob. Be it jealousy or whatever. The sister thing just pushed him over the edge.
Excellent presentation of all the info, and I particularly love your nonjudgmental way of explaining everything. I think the world would be a better place if more ppl chose not to judge what consenting adults do on a Monday afternoon. Bob didn’t deserve for his life to be taken nor for it to be picked apart by the media. It’s horrifying that the daily mail released his last moments to the world rather than the police. They’re despicable.
I'm a native New Yorker so it's not like I'm from the bible belt and all I can is that you could give me all the money in the world and I wouldn't want a life like any of these people. It's an empty existence and things never end well. This is a prime example. This man did not deserve to die but I can't relate to these people who are always thrill-seeking. Call me judgemental but I find it sad. The drugs and jumping from bed to bed are not going to make anyone happy.
He could have been home with his kids.
I'm one resident of SF who wishes the tech industry never came to our city. There's huge problems that it brought including the extreme party lifestyle and they don't even have to pay taxes! It wouldn't surprise me if there's a degree of the occult involved as well. City Hall is corrupt as it always has been. There's always has been this element of kinky lifestyle here way before the tech industry came. Thanks for diving in.
As someone who is a Northern Californian too, 100% that the tech’s irresponsibly has failed SF from a beautiful city that was the shining example of the state to now being the example of why everyone wants to leave. It’s frustrating seeing what has happened to the city because of the corruption of those in charge.
Thank you for adding to the conversation, Kate. Its just a shame those girls came up with poop map app, that's what started the whole series of nicknames and poop tourism on youtube. Its not easy to navigate living here now so I spend a lot of time at the beach.❤
“How can someone walk a football field and not know he’s stabbed?” Adrenaline. We see it all the time. We’ve seen people shot in the hard run a football field before dropping. This happens more often than not. Most people also think people just drop when they are stabbed or shot. Not always the case. Many run off. The defense attorney is disingenuous and disgusting. And to think she was an AD letting people like this off. She has a track record as an AD of getting murderers off.
Great coverage on this story !
So well presented.
Thank you.
The SanFrancisco DA and DA’s like them should be arrested. The fact that they have decriminalized so many crimes and then the crime rate has sky rocketed is not a coincidence. It’s disgusting that they can get away with this.
Exactly ❤
Add that lawyer and Chris Como
