No my dear a women can also adopt celibacy in Indian tradition there are lots of saadhavi ( a term used for women who follows celibacy) and a saadhavi sees every person as her own child. She follows cosmic motherhood. She can adopt krishna as her own child. In bhakti love for god is importent then personification of god is required you can assume god as your father ,mother, friend or even your own child.

A woman needs to be protected coz she carries the progeny, so protection of the womb! This is the reason y women should marry, this is the purpose greattt!! Man or woman should marry because one needs a friend forever kinda partner who supports in lives thick n thin throughout. & protects in adversities of life. Here the actual protection comes. Y it's thought always sexually! That someone will come to exploit her sexually. Then u talk of spirituality on the other hand. Guru Maharaj what about women who can't conceive or undergone hysterectomy or some congenital disorder? So they don't carry progeny. No protection required now! Women r not to produce children. Don't identify them with this. Consider them as individuals, equal individuals belonging to God! Then the mindset will be clear.

ray chi ji.. Hare Krishna!! It is not necessary for men to get married. If he wants to spend their life as celibate student they can spend. But if he can't able to control and if this is so hard for him to become a celibate student then the boy should marry with a girl who will help him in Krishna Consciousness.
In vedic scriptures it is stated that a man should marry only for begetting Krsna Conscious Childrens. If he can't able to do so then he should not marry and live a celibate life in a association with Guru, Sadhu and Sashtra.
