This is absolutely mind-blowing. My dear, I'm a 49 year old momma who loves FNAF everything and you are now on my list. My 16 yr old daughter was the one who got me into it thanks to the awesome music. She gets so annoyed by my theory "addiction" that I have virtually stopped sharing my thoughts with her. Although she has come up with a few herself that made me proud. Anyway, you have a new subscriber. You are amazing and don't stop what you are doing. You are making your way along with John and all the others.
@humblelifehappylife and @bloodhound1182, I will share my theories. I don't really have a place to do it. I'm really not too artistically inclined to make a youtube page but I will figure out a place to share.
I mean, my gut reaction to "Why is there no Golden Freddy (Vengeful Spirit) in FNaF3?" was a simple "Because Scott very likely did not plan on having Vengeful Spirit as a character at that point in time." But that's no fun! I like your explanation alot, the video was very well-made!
WAIT People theorize that Old Man Consequences is actually Michael Afton and that he’s wearing a Foxy mask. What if he’s all the way down the code because Dave wants to bury him deep within his memories and forget all the trouble he caused him?
Additionally if that were case correlating Old Man Consequences as Mike Afton, that would make Mike Schmidt Afton certainly 'brutal' spirit later within the context of Custom Night, just fishing by lake, not giving single care as his father screams specifically for his assistance, karmatic justice and chilling, just telling the vengeful spirit to leave demon to their demons. His own father.
This is a very compelling theory, well done! I feel it's important to mention that another piece of evidence suggesting that Cassidy is the protagonist of FNAF World is the fact that in Ultimate Custom Night, the player is able to visit OMC's lake for the second time in this series. Although we know that Afton is the player of the main nights in UCN, Old Man Consequences pretty clearly alludes to the idea that the bear sprite we play as while visiting him -- the same sprite used in FNAF World when we reach his lake, no less -- is Cassidy. Since both instances where we're able to reach OMC's lake have us playing as a bear, and the second instance is heavily implied to be Cassidy, that could mean that the first instance was also Cassidy since the avatar's the same, making Cassidy the player of FNAF World by extension. Just throwing the idea out there
So, another thing about clocks is that if you encounter a clock while you're dreaming, it lets you go lucid. Not sure how that fits here, but thought I'd bring it up.
There’s a lot of things that can make a dream lucid if you encounter them. My personal go-to are my hands; hands are always fucked up in dreams, with the wrong number or placement of fingers and shit
Oh WOW. This is the best take on FNaF World I have ever seen in my lifetime. I knew it was setting up Happiest Day, and that Happiest Day heavily references the Crying Child's memories in its imagery (Balloon Boy, Toy Chica, Mangle, Fredbear), but satisfyingly answering what the world itself IS, and what the sub-tunnels are? I've been stumped on that for agesss. So again, WOW, love this!
This theory answered a question MatPat never even thought to ask, answered my question of why the CC has so little significance after 4, and was more satisfying in its answers than any Game Theory video on FNAF I've seen in years. Hell yes you have a new subscriber, AND I'm recommending the channel to my FNAF-obsessed nephew!
@@CandiBuunny And seriously, I should put extra emphasis on this, I'm really glad to be listening to FNAF theories that don't require excessive mental gymnastics.
this i doubt. i dont think fnaf world even existed as a concept until fnaf 4 and the fnaf 3 glitches were found only 12 hours after its release. remember at one point fnaf 3 was gonna be the final game
that would be a really fun idea but there *were* clues towards them in fnaf3 itself, in the post-night sequences, so i doubt that's the case unfortunately
It would’ve been funny that golden Freddy, the vengeful spirit pacifically, gave up the ability to hunt Afton just thinking they won’t get stuck permanently and get stuck until somebody actually fixed it. They found the answer. They can’t use it until somebody pacifically Michael shows the fact that he loves his brother.
Awesome video! Honestly, I'd never really put the idea together of just how deeply repressed the memory of the three in front of the TV is, this video made me appreciate that moment more and makes my heart ache for Michael and Dave's brotherly relationship more. Keep up the videos!
amazing theory excellent method, very consistent and rigoros. the parallels to other mind dive media are baffling, when i saw the sprite of freddy change into a dead child i screamed. then we had the old man consequences scene. its very interesting to think about who this character is. some have connected him to henry or mike. but with the next scene i think i would exclude mike since he would be talking down on himself. then when you showed the final screen of mike i lost it all. it makes so much sense from your perspective. the vengeful spirit finally found ccs happiest day. even though it means that they cant rest and fish for a while (aka control golden freddy and terrorize william) it will all be worth it for cc. it even makes sense why golden freddy is missing in the fnaf 3 ending screen. its very refreshing to hear your views these details and they are very well presented. thank you!
The theory that Andrew was the child that found the memory NEVER convinced me, I always thought they had nothing to do with it, and when people talked about it, they ALWAYS forgot the most important fact, that you absolutely CANNOT escape the memory, you're stuck, but everyone ignores that. The theory that Cassidy, the vengeful spirit is the ONE that got into the memory to save Dave, the Crying Child, and got stuck there, is so damn solid and so well put that it left me absolutely amazed! The fact that they sacrified themselves for a CHANCE to save the crying child, knowing that they might not make it out... absolutely puts them in the shoes of a hero... and it breaks my fucking heart every time.
Counterclaim: It's both of them. The puppet is the glitched Fredbear speaking to Cassidy, buying them time so they can reach the deepest glitch. (Or potentially vice versa, but I think it's clear that Cassidy is the one speaking to OMC both times at the lake bc of UCN.) That's why they're the one you're controlling at the party/FNaF 3 minigame. They intentionally didn't allow themself to go too far, and sent someone else. Someone willing to sit, and wait for just the right moment so they could have the opportunity to break away, and give Dave the chance to have his happiest day. This was an intense group effort that couldn't have worked without all three of them. (The puppet, Cassidy, and Mike.)
Okay I LOVE love LOVE the idea of the puppet as glitched Fredbear. Esp because the puppet seems to know a little more about possession and moving on, so it makes sense that they could give the advice glitched fredbear does to Cassidy. When I one day make a timeline, I will very likely be using this
I think you just found the best of both worlds. The puppet, being the protector, is helping with their knowledge but doesn't have access to the subconsious. Vengeful spirit is with the CC and has access to the subconsious but needs outside help to get going. And the motivation for both of them is different but they work together. The puppet wants the spirit to move on and vengeful wants total control of the body. Now, I personally prefer the theory that Mike= VS, but it could work a certain way since it's his brother. It just makes his involvement repetitive.
I spent the last few minutes of this video sobbing my heart out. It really tugged at my heart (and my weak spot for children). This theory was so well-detailed, written, and explained, and it was super eye-opening. I've quickly become a huge fan of your work, so I hope you keep this up!!
i ADORE this theory!!! this is one of the few pieces of fnaf content that has emotionally touched me like this. i am genuinely tearing up at the idea of this. the vengeful spirit sacrificing their one goal for the cc. mike and his love for his brother. all of this is just so amazing ❤️❤️
Everytime I see someone talk about a FNAF World theory it’s always so in depth that it makes me want to check out the game. So many things can be made to make sense from the one game most ignored upon release. Great theory btw !
Might I add: in Help Wanted 2 the level where you get the Golden Freddy plushy is level 3 (Fnaf 3) and the description references Happiest Day, to get such a plushy you need to make the gravestone drink which is made by putting the drinks in the order of the colors of the children in the fnaf 6 ending. So no matter what Golden Freddy will be associated with the Happiest Day and with the Graves, the Gravestone for Cassidy, the Happiest Day for Dave. In my eyes, Dave getting the Golden Freddy mask in fnaf 3 goes two ways, it's to show he now has friends in the other children and he can move with them together (with ShatterVictim it shows he's the key to saving all of them) but in the other way it shows Cassidy gave up her mask, her right to move on so he could.
i was really surprised to find this channel only has 199 subs with how well edited and narrated these videos are, keep it up and you'll definetly become one of the biggest theory channels out there!
@@masky6140 I’m gonna make one soon but I don’t have it set up yet! I’ll make an announcement on here when I do and if I remember I’ll respond to this too!
Claps for this video all around, I’ve always liked these kinda interpretations of FNAF world but this is the most detailed and convincing I’ve heard.👏 Some other thoughts: -Seeing that Charlie is likely not the FNAF world protag, i think it’s likely that’s she’s the glitched Fredbear who manages to… hack I guess the game and tell Cassidy how to escape. -I really like the idea of Cassidy doing it both Becuase I like to think they and Dave formed a bond in the suit, so it’s nice, but also I can imagine Afton being in the Same building as them while they were stuck and then managing to escape before they could finish the job could make you hateful enough to want to prolong your enemies suffering.
It's also possible that Cassidy and the Puppet are working together to free CC's soul from Golden Freddy, but they have different motives behind doing so. Charlie simply cares about children and realized her folly in forcing them to continue to live on beyond death, while Cassidy does care about CC, she still wants vengeance against William for obvious reasons and knows she can't do that with CC. Afton is after all his dad and no matter how evil, I doubt any child wants their parent to be agonizing torment for the rest of eternity which Cassidy knows and why she needs CC to move on. This might also be why the Puppet says that she doesn't hate William despite having every reason to do so in UCN and why she tells him to stay out of her way. She doesn't care about Afton anymore because she realized that Cassidy will never give up on her revenge and she still wants to save her from herself.
@@CandiBuunnyPersonally, I think it's a mix of both. She genuinely cares for the other children, but her hatred of Afton can sometimes override her rational thinking. This is why Charlie is still working to save her soul over torturing Afton.
I agree with you. Motives are always an important thing to figure out in this series so well done. Though I noticed you keep referring to Cassidy as female... This is wrong, I thought more people would have got rid of this head cannon by now? In the movie, Cassidy has EXACTLY the same appearance as the game version, and is a male child. When I saw this, I felt like Scott was finally giving us the answer to Cassidy's gender once and for all, so it can be quite annoying to see people disregard this just because of Princess Quest, which is a vague mini game and still heavily debated on.
@@longfishy The movie is not canon to the games, and this isn't a book situation either where some elements in it can link back to the games, it's a complete retelling of the story, there's no remnant stuff, and generally the story is heavily simplified and completely different, plenty of details are off, Golden Freddy can walk, CC isn't miserable, CC is named Garrett, it's clearly not even just the "big plot points", all the small details are different too, which could include the gender of a random child.
This is an incredible theory. I've been believing something similar to this for quite some time, but ultimately I believe a slightly different version of it. I believe all you said is true, but with the added context that it's all arcade games. And not in the literal sense that the minigames emulate arcade games, but that the Happiest Day minigames, FNAF World, the Follow Me minigames, and all 8-bit minigames in FNAF are literal in-universe arcade games that have been infected with agony. That is why they actually look like videogames that kids could play, but that they also hide paranormal activity. For example, Foxy Go Go Go doesn't remind you of Into The Pit? Why couldn't an arcade game be haunted by the memory of the MCI, and then display it on the screen like the Ball Pit in ITP does? The agony in the arcades makes the arcades display things that shouldn't actually be shown, like the dead kids, the murders, or the possessed animatronics. Tha arcdes are not just a funny immersive and thematically appropiate, but also literal in-universe. The arcades are haunted by BV's memories, and, as said in SB, they are ALL connected. FNAF World does look like an in-universe arcade game, specially because we KNOW that the animatronics (apart from the OGs, the springlocks and the Toys) are INTRUDERS in that world. As said in the game, something terrible happens in the Flipside, and it affects FNAF World. A tragedy ocurrs, and the arcade world is shaped to emulate it. That's why all the animatronics are there, because their agony and memories inhabit the arcade. BV's mind IS in the arcade, just like the MCI's minds are in the animatronics. I mean, FNAF World calls ITSELF a videogame! How much clearer can it be? And, now, why are they ALL connected? Well, we clearly see it. Playing the FNAF World secret minigames makes the Follow Me arcade game to display the hints to access the Happiest Day minigames, and playing BB's Air Adventure helps Mangle to complete her quest of finding the cake all the other animatronics are going to give to the lost souls in the rest of the HD minigames, which also affects the actual Happiest Day minigame, adding more and more ghost kids to the memory. Plus, Security Breach spells it out completely. In it, we see a literal person literally play an arcade machine that magically frees Vanessa's spirit. It, again, can't be as clear as that. This does not "debunk" your theory wrong, it rather makes the specifics more aligned with the games than the books. Does it ruin the coolness of magically living through a memory, yeah. Does it mean FNAF World can't be BV's mind? Of course not! It straightens it, as now we can know that all the videogame is related to BV's mind and, basically, cofirms your theory, it's just a little changed. I love this video, even if I disagree in one or two points! The pacing, the reasoning, and the idea you proposed are incredible!
This is such a cool theory! I think GiBi from Horror Homestead believes the same or something close to it, and I think in Security Breach one of the duffel bag messages about Princess Quest says all the arcade machines are working together and you have to glitch them at the same time.. which sounds just like what you're saying!
coming back to this for the billionth time as this is my fav fnaf theory of all time and i just now realized why the fnaf world "happiest day" explanation hits me so emotionally. so two years ago i visited my family a few months after i had moved out for college. i was rlly homesick at the time and college made me feel worse. i have two little siblings, a brother 4 years and a sister 8 years younger than me. on a whim, i mentioned fnaf and its batshit storytelling, and i thought they would think it was lame, but they genuinely got interested and what was originally gonna be a quick video showcase led to me spending the whole day showing them various fnaf theory and retrospective vids, for 12 hours! bc our age gaps, its hard for us siblings to hang out together with a shared interest, and this was the first time i could remember it happening, and that image of the older brother with his arms wrapped around his younger brother and sister as they watched tv together...actually mirrors my own "happiest day". how something so simple could encapsulate the love between your siblings and help you through the dark...and what are the odds it circles back to fnaf! this video is amazing, i cant wait for what your future will hold!
Wow that's incredible! It's so cool that you could share that with your siblings! I got my younger brother into Lord of the Rings and we also had a pretty big age gap and I have such great memories talking about the books with him
I really love this theory!! The thought of the vengeful spirit pausing their goals to prioritize helping the crying child is just so !!🥹 hurt kids trying to help fellow hurt kids ough It would really explain why they are absent at that point in time and man...when we went even deeper into Dave's mind and its a peaceful moment with his siblings :'( waaahhh
I love this theory! The way you talk about each layer of FNAF World not only feels narratively and psychologically satisfying, but makes descending through glitches through the game make so much more sense to someone who's never had the opportunity to play FNAF World. I also love the detail that Dave's repressed memory is the screen beneath OMC's lake, with Dave, Mike and Elizabeth watching TV together. I suppose my only question would be why was that specific memory repressed? I would tend to think a repressed memory would be a traumatic event, not something that would make the trauma of, in this case, a mean brother be eased by remembering a more tender moment. The only solution I can come up with off the top of my head would be Elizabeth's death affecting Dave enough that he repressed the memory for that reason, and then bringing it back to the surface for the sake of redeeming Mike in Dave's mind.
I love that theory! Personally I think he's just buried all memories of Mike away, good and bad, because it's so painful to think about his brother. Because of how horrible he was to him as a kid and because it reminds him of his death
I love how fnaf theories went from convoluted mind melting hyper scrutinizing confusion fests to satisfactory story interpretations of previous titles. Keep up the jncredible work, you are my favorite fnaf theoriest
I’m so happy that not only that I found your videos cause this one is genuinely amazing and so well thought out and really touching tbh, but also that I started looking for more fnaf videos outside of game theory cause there’s so much on this video that I genuinely never knew about, you and notrealname notatall have been especially fun to watch and have been videos I now look forward to rather than background noise for when I’m gaming
I love that you explain the terms the fandom use I remember when I got back into fnaf theories I could not understand what MCI was, so I really appreciate you explaining the terms you’re using!
This video is absolutely amazing. I've never seen a video where someone attempts to explain every single aspect of FNAF World so well. I'm sold!! Also, you seem to have a relatively low number of subscribers, yet your audio, narration and editing is amazing! Keep up the good work, I hope more people find your channel!
This actually gave me chills because it works so well from a storytelling perspective... the science behind trying to free the trapped soul of a child with essentially no good memories to do so is such a fucking tragic concept and somehow manages to make the afton story even more morbid than we once thought It also kind of rebrands Michael's quest as less of a noble, brotherly thing to do to almost a necessary journey he is obligated to take if he seeks redemption Just spitballing here though, lots of cool thematic things going on here that your theory really breathes some life into, well done ‼️
my GOD this was phenomenal!! I absolutely LOVE how you explained the fnaf 3 ending with golden freddy being missing in the good ending. best golden freddy theory i have seen in a while, which says a lot because i click on every video with golden freddy as their thumbnail
Well done , you've pretty much convinced me! The only real differences I have in mind are Cassidy not being VS, Andrew being the plush, Henry being the Fright Guard, and Happiest Day happening during FNaF 6.
My only criticism (and I believe this is overall a well-made, well-thought-out video) is I feel like the lack of acknowledgment of the visual graphics ques in the deeper layer of FNAF World may create a sense of disconnect to some of your points. The same of the underlayers, the rounded "scoping" affect, mimic the shape of a physical disk drive. As you move your avator around the visual world "warps" around you as if you are disk-reader traveling back and fourth across the sectors. The next aspect is that each layer deeper is represented by an older generation of computer graphics. The choice in shapes are important; it does end up looking like a "dead kid" head from other cut scenes, but the more and more primitive graphics are a form of visual communication in it of itself that should be considered. What first drew my attention to this detail in your video is when you said it looked like the under layers represent a "dark" place. But the thing is that from the 1950s, through to the late 1980s / almost into the mid-90s, black was the default background color on computer screens, because black is blank or a lack of color input. It was a shared cultural understanding that black represented a lack of artist intent, rather then an intentional choice. So in combination with the graphics getting progressively older and requiring you to move like the data reader on a harddrive disk, I think it's difficult to say that the black background represents anything "dark" or "nighttime". It is creepy, but it is creepy because of the combination of artist choices surrounding the situation; not because it's mimicing the default background of a computer screen.
I mean it totally makes sense that it's The Vengeful spirit in the crying child's mind instead of the Puppet because the Puppet literally shows up in the FNAF 3 building. (Now whether or not this is Mike hallucinating, I don't know, on one hand I could totally see that being the case, but on the other Puppet appears for a moment on the cameras before Phantom Puppet appears in the office so I have no idea)
The idea of Mike being the only one able to get the Crying Child to move on by showing a real, genuine affection for him is probably my favorite part of the FNAF VHS series. I'm glad to see a theorist apply it to our canon lore, too.
Imo it’s not a circus it’s a festival I think something a-lot of people overlook is that fnaf world is the first game in the fnaf into madness ark that is still ongoing so we are still going through the story that fnaf world hinted at
Fantastic Theory! MIND BLOWING! So good infact, when I was researching for my theory I couldn't think of anything other than this, and it makes so much sense!! So I based my theory off of this one! Simply fantastic work! You have been mentioned in the video, and will be pinned and in my description :) LOVED THIS!!
@@CandiBuunny I use the same evidence, but no where near as in Depth as yours, your like WAY more in depth than me haha, I've made sure to include you and tell everyone to go support you, and your channel at the end ! Giving you the recognition you deserve. I hope I do you justice !
28:13 damn very true, I am pretty convinced at this point that FNAF World is someone doing a deep dive into Dave Afton’s memories. You make some good points on how it is Golden Freddy/Vengeful Spirit.
I really like this theory! On my second viewing I noticed it also answers a really long-standing question I had about Happiest Day’s placement in the timeline. This is really satisfying because it makes sense of Happiest Day happening in FNAF 3 and the story continuing forward through Pizzaria Simulator. Well done!
I always thought Golden Freddy had to be like with the others down in sister location as they were turned into the funtimes. As in there are ZERO spirits in fnaf3 and the phantoms are really just hallucinations and not actual ghosts. If they were the spirits of the missing kids then we’d end up with a soul-splitting situation where half the souls are haunting fnaf3 and the other half is remnant possessing the funtimes which is just an extra headache of a concept. We know Golden Freddy (Cassidy at least) has to get to SL somehow since he ends up apart of Ennard according to FFPS. So I assumed that the MCI just aren’t in fnaf3 to begin with so it isn’t that strange that Golden Freddy doesn’t make an appearance.
I respect that position. Personally, I think they are still somehow distinct around fnaf 3 because of Cassidy and CC talking together in the security logbook
Just something about the editor's note in the beginning: Despote having researched himskef and came to the name of the Crying Child, he himself says that the theory was already made by some users on Reddit.
Very true! I think GiBi’s Horror Homestead made a great video called “the FNaF Community has a Communication Problem & Its Probably UA-cam’s Fault” that tries to give credit to everyone who found the name before Hyper Droid
I like the idea that the vengeful spirit is trying to show that things aren't as stuck in place as they seem. Just as Mike has changed, the crying child's mind changes once he realizes that he doesn't have to stay locked in the pain of his past.
This "Inception" Theory sounds a lot like Omori. Like the resemblance in the use of the subconscious and "hiding the darker thruths in the deep levels of the mind" is kinda crazy. Btw, loved the video! Got a new subscriber
Incredible work! I think another piece of evidence is that no other character would know about Old Man Consequences, and he's one of the enemies created by the Vengeful Spirit in Ultimate Custom Night.
Great video. I've often theorized in my head that FNAF World doesn't take place in the mind of the Crying Child, but Michael Afton, coming to terms with what he did. He ruminates about what he would change if he could go back and fix everything. I remember hearing not too long ago that the FNAF 3 Bad Ending is the Canon Ending. So the good ending - the Happiest Day - is just what Michael WISHES could have happened. "You are broken. I will put you back together." I sometimes wonder if William was referring to Michael - the broken son who killed his brother.
⚠️SPOILER ALERT FOR THE NEW "THE WEEK BEFORE BOOK⚠️ 25:57 One of the endings in that book kind of confirms dual possession theory that ending consists of phone guy hearing a phone call of the crying child's birthday where he cries for help and for Mike to stop but even after phone guy hangs up he can still hear the child crying and he gets killed by an animatronic so suddenly he doesn't even see which animatronic did it This confirms either golden duo or shatter victim (shatter victim being that the crying child's memories are scattered across all other missing children) either way it confirms the crying child sharing an animatronic with a missing child whoever it could be.
I’m so glad that you took the time out of your theory to explain the simple things for the people who haven’t played the games but still want to watch theories(like me).
You know just to add to the Puppet/Charlie being the one helping with happiest day, I think it's interesting that the Puppet is the only other physical animatronic in the building along with spring trap Evidence being it's clean appearance on cameras and the fact it produces a reflection in the puddle on the ground. Maybe the Puppet is acting as a form of medium between Mike and Crying Child which is allowing Happiest day to occur. It could also be possible that both Cassidy and Charlie are working together to bring peace to the crying child, since they'd both have reasons to. With Cassidy setting up the "Inception" Video game Link to Micheal While The Puppet provides a more physical link for Micheal Just an idea.
Main issue with your point at the end about Golden Freddy being set loose again- he doesn’t show up anywhere in the timeline after FNaF 3 until UCN. Maybe the vengeful spirit wasn’t in FNaF 3 because they were trying to get into Afton’s mind?
Really well substantiated arguments for your theories, great writing, professional audio and effective editing. You're the whole FNAF theorist package despite being new in this space, instant sub. Now excuse me while I go back to lurking as a binge-watch there rest of your content. keep up the good work and take care!
this is the best theory i've ever seen, and i've been in the community since fnaf 4. The pieces that fall into place don't feel like they're going to change, its SOLID (unlike most theories)
Honestly. This makes a lot of sense. I never thought of it that day. I just figured since Scott gave up on fnaf world and am pretty sure said that it's no longer canon so I just completely wrote it off as even possibly being canon anymore.
I really enjoyed your theory, it was very well done. If I had to take a stab at it I think you're very much on the track. My thoughts are that the Vengeful spirit wanted to set the crying child free so they alone could control Golden Freddy. So when you get the happiest day ending in FNAF 3 the cry child moves on and leaves Golden Freddy with one spirit, the Vengeful one. If that's what you were trying to say I think it's spot on
Ooo and this parallels the book where Andrew seems to get kicked from the Stitchwraith and leaves Jake to pilot it alone, except it's reversed here. LOVE IT
this makes me wonder about when we go down to the 4th Glitch again in UCN. it even gives edits your FNAF World save files and gives you the OMC trophy.
Top ten ways to immediately hook me with your fnaf theory number one: fnaf world Jokes aside though, it always disappointed me when people would completely ignore fnaf world when theory making, partly because its my favorite fnaf game, and partly because theres a LOT going on with it in terms of theory material. im rEAALLY happy its finally getting more widespread attention from the theory scene. Thank you for making this video!!
Watching this video this early in your channel's history feels like watching an early RyeToast, FuhNaff, or ID's Fantasy video. I can see HUGE things for this channel. Incredible stuff!
While I do believe that Happiest day and fnaf world are both linked with the crying child, wich would explains why the other spirits aren't put to rest after the death of William because one of them wasn't murdered by the man behind the slaughter. However what a lot of people often overlook in regards to fnaf 4, fnaf world pre uptate 2 and the minigames of fnaf 3, is that this part of the story was more than likely redconned by Scott who explains that he redconned one thing, that being the whole crying child story arc, the box who we know know was a direction that the story never went with being (to me at least) an acknoledgement of that. And what is VERY important in all of this is that fnaf world changed between uptates with the original release and uptate 1 involving fnaf 4 and the crying child, but also that Scott began to change the story in major ways with Uptate 2 being a teaser of sorts for Sister location. So what changes of high importance might have happened? To me there's at least three, one of minor importance, one of high importance and one who never trully went anywhere (redconned before seeing the end of it) The least important one is Phantom Freddy who looks exactly like Withered Golden Freddy from fnaf 2 instead of Withered Freddy, and while the book story "What we find" explains that the Phantoms are trauma enduced hallucinations caused by the agony present within Springtrap, however it's very likely that before the major changes of fnaf world uptate 2 and SL the Phantoms where most likely actual paranormal manifestations of the children spirits. There's six of them after all... The important change: I think the Good and Bad endings of fnaf 3 got changed, either the canon one is the good ending, the bad ending, or it's both as the bad ending happens after fnaf 3 and the good one after Pizza Sim. Now the biggest yet least important change: Who was the one behind the "I will put you back together" line before the changes? Well.... it's weird... Cause the color of that line dialogue matches with the ones of the eyes of fnaf world, meaning that they are one and the same... except there's actually a character in fnaf world who has the same color for theirs dialogues... and at first it does look completely random: It's the little girl with red pigtails, green eyes and a red skirt.... You'd think it wouldn't make any sense exept there's a link... or was... Circus Baby was build after Elisabeth Afton, exept she dosn't looks like her at all, the only character out of the entire series who looks like Circus Baby is that girl with the same red pigtail hair, same green eyes and same red skirt... The question is why? Remember that girl's room in fnaf 4? What if that red haired girl what the character that Scott had envisionned as the sister who tried to help her brother? But that when Scott changed the story in major ways Circus Baby was already modeled and finished? It's an intresting look at a forgotten yet obsolete part of the story.
@@CandiBuunny To me it really does look like it was the idea that Scott had in his mind at some point but decided against it before we could figure it out. The fnaf4-world-SL area is really confusing because it feels like multiple completely unrelated stories intertwining with eachothers and thus laking any sort of logical sense. Whatever went in Scott's mind trought this is a mystery within itself, all we can do is try and link stuff where it was actually supposed to go instead of taking the most random of elements and pretending it fits.
really really great theory and video. I love fnaf world so much and have always wanted to figure out the story and how it ties into the other games, but no other theory has ever really done it for me. this one feels right. when you started talking about looking for a good memory I knew EXACTLY where it was going and got really excited. finally having an answer to the fnaf world lore I'm satisfied with is really great. curious about how the whole "puppermaster" storyline with animdude ties into the lore if at all though, since this video mainly focuses on the clock ending and secrets rather than the distraction plot. it might honestly just be a fun random story Scott Cawthon made up to serve as the distraction, but if there's any significance to the final boss or update 2 content it would be super interesting to find out. but yeah, brilliant video and subscribed immediately :)
I could be thinking too much about it but the FNAF 3 minigames could easily be Mike playing the arcade machines which could make it similar to a princess quest situation.
Yoooo! Great theory! I’m glad I got the chance to see this. You made a really strong case and i hope this ends up getting the attention it deserves! Can’t wait to see more :D
wahhh just watched this after your kidnapping theory and I had to subscribe your theories are so good and you deserve so much more recognition in the community !!!
maybe the puppet is present because it took both charlotte and cassidy to both convince dave his brother did love him and to alter the memory of his death? cassidy did the work of dredging up the memory, but that put her out of commission. someone else would have to do the rest of the work remaining to give dave his happiest day, and i feel like the puppet and michael both fill that role together- michael in proving his love for dave, and charlie in all the spirit shenanigans
Absolutely incredible video, great job :), also another thing that was pointed out recently to me is that in fnaf 3, phantom Freddy may also be golden Freddy, resemblance is very close too
Did I really just watch one of the best theories from FNAF World while waiting for my online class to start?! Wow, this is so compelling and just so well structured and edited and everything, new subscriber and I'll have to binge watch all your other videos when I have the chance!!! ^^
I legit contacted a friend in cybersecurity to figure out the actual definition of malware to make sure that joke was accurate. So glad you appreciated!
Amazing theory 10/10, I think this is a great explanation to why GF is missing in FNAF 3. Though I've also heard the idea that it's because the vengeful spirit is already attached to Afton by then since they're also missing in FNAF6
Good point! If I stick with this theory for my final timeline, which I will unless a new game or book reexplains Happiest Day, I'll have to figure out the Fnaf 6 absence another way
Another interesting aspect of this theory is that it reinforces Cassidy's and the Crying Child's connection seen in the Security Logbook, with Micheal still being shown as the main character throughout the narrative, he's still the one surviving Springtrap and burning down the place, meanwhile Cassidy as Golden Freddy, or the one animatronic that the Crying Child seemed to trust, helps the Crying Child move on, we already know that they're related in some way, both from the fact that they are both tied to Golden Freddy, and that they try to help each other remember who they were, so its quite possible that, as the leader of the group, Cassidy would take the time out of his day to help another sad and scared child.
I agree! I see a lot of people saying Cassidy only harbors hatred/agony and Charlie only wants to protect the kids and care for them, but I always interpreted Cassidy as caring about the other children too. They just also really want revenge
@@CandiBuunny Otherwise the Security Logbook would only have Micheal looking for the Crying Child's name, since if Cassidy only cared about killing William, then they wouldn't take the time out of their day to talk with the Crying Child.

This was so sweet to read! I hope you do get to share your theories because it's just so freaking fun! And thank you for your support
Fnaf family? Thats wild.
I mean, my gut reaction to "Why is there no Golden Freddy (Vengeful Spirit) in FNaF3?" was a simple "Because Scott very likely did not plan on having Vengeful Spirit as a character at that point in time."
But that's no fun!
I like your explanation alot, the video was very well-made!
I ADORE that attitude. Scott may not have all the pieces together but that's not stopping me!
His ability to come back and edit random things he did in the past to make sense is incredible.
WAIT
People theorize that Old Man Consequences is actually Michael Afton and that he’s wearing a Foxy mask. What if he’s all the way down the code because Dave wants to bury him deep within his memories and forget all the trouble he caused him?
Holy moly BANGER theory!! That could slot into the original theory no problem and be siiiick
@@CandiBuunny HE IS FISHING. IN THE LAKE!! WHERE THE HAPPIEST MEMORY IS!!! He’s trying to retrieve the memory. To fish it out. Same goal
@@pastelplushpaws Oh god 😭😭😭😭
Additionally if that were case correlating Old Man Consequences as Mike Afton, that would make Mike Schmidt Afton certainly 'brutal' spirit later within the context of Custom Night, just fishing by lake, not giving single care as his father screams specifically for his assistance, karmatic justice and chilling, just telling the vengeful spirit to leave demon to their demons. His own father.
@@danithrabbit3516 I head canon this as real
Just throwing the idea out there
@@jocosejpeg that is good evidence that the player in both is Cassidy!
Dreams are like ai art, but finding out whats wrong actually does something
Oh thank you that was so kindly said! That made me so happy to read!!
Crying Child: Please go away.
Golden Freddy: Bro, I am trying.

Why do I feel like this comment was made just to trash on game theory lmao
I am intrigued! A part of me thinks a lot of the secrets in FNaF3 weren’t meant to be found until FNaF World
I go conspiracy brain mode when I start thinking about Fnaf world. It's so bizarre and interesting
this i doubt. i dont think fnaf world even existed as a concept until fnaf 4 and the fnaf 3 glitches were found only 12 hours after its release. remember at one point fnaf 3 was gonna be the final game
@@idolofvines7863the mandatory mini games also have hints to get the secrets
that would be a really fun idea but there *were* clues towards them in fnaf3 itself, in the post-night sequences, so i doubt that's the case unfortunately
Qctually a crazy good theory. I know its been known, but using the figures in front of the tv screen is an insanely cool lore piece.
Thank you!!
You have done what MatPat could never do. This theory makes
SO MUCH SENSE. YOU ARE A GENIUS.
I'm 100% subscribed
Thank you!! I am SO proud of this theory and I'm so glad you like it!
Awesome video! Honestly, I'd never really put the idea together of just how deeply repressed the memory of the three in front of the TV is, this video made me appreciate that moment more and makes my heart ache for Michael and Dave's brotherly relationship more. Keep up the videos!
amazing theory
excellent method, very consistent and rigoros. the parallels to other mind dive media are baffling, when i saw the sprite of freddy change into a dead child i screamed. then we had the old man consequences scene. its very interesting to think about who this character is. some have connected him to henry or mike. but with the next scene i think i would exclude mike since he would be talking down on himself. then when you showed the final screen of mike i lost it all. it makes so much sense from your perspective. the vengeful spirit finally found ccs happiest day. even though it means that they cant rest and fish for a while (aka control golden freddy and terrorize william) it will all be worth it for cc. it even makes sense why golden freddy is missing in the fnaf 3 ending screen. its very refreshing to hear your views these details and they are very well presented. thank you!
@@TiloDroid DANG I should’ve have you write my script because this is exactly what I meant! So glad you liked it 😊
The theory that Andrew was the child that found the memory NEVER convinced me, I always thought they had nothing to do with it, and when people talked about it, they ALWAYS forgot the most important fact, that you absolutely CANNOT escape the memory, you're stuck, but everyone ignores that.
(Or potentially vice versa, but I think it's clear that Cassidy is the one speaking to OMC both times at the lake bc of UCN.)
That's why they're the one you're controlling at the party/FNaF 3 minigame.
Wow thank you so much but also I'm so sorry I made you cry haha I promise the others aren't this sad (mostly)
i ADORE this theory!!! this is one of the few pieces of fnaf content that has emotionally touched me like this. i am genuinely tearing up at the idea of this. the vengeful spirit sacrificing their one goal for the cc. mike and his love for his brother. all of this is just so amazing ❤️❤️
Everytime I see someone talk about a FNAF World theory it’s always so in depth that it makes me want to check out the game. So many things can be made to make sense from the one game most ignored upon release. Great theory btw !
I absolutely recommend the game because it's free and nothing is better than free!
For a split second reading this I went "Who the heck is Dave"... it's gonna take some time for me to get used to lol

Over 2K subs in like 4 days after 1 video is crazy
Claps for this video all around, I’ve always liked these kinda interpretations of FNAF world but this is the most detailed and convincing I’ve heard.👏
Some other thoughts:
-Seeing that Charlie is likely not the FNAF world protag, i think it’s likely that’s she’s the glitched Fredbear who manages to… hack I guess the game and tell Cassidy how to escape.
I love both of these but especially adding in the role of Charlie and have the two work together
I love this idea! I go back and forth between thinking Cassidy cares about the other children and protects them and seeing them as more manipulative
@@ni__wolf143 Ever heard of parallels? And there is remnant stuff, pictures, like in the trilogy.

BET. However, the first five vids of me playing into the pit are… unpolished lol. I’ll make you some better content to binge soon!
This is probably the best theory I’ve found about what’s going in fnaf world, especially the old man consequences and red lake situations
My favourite thing about this theory is it feels like an incredibly reasonable explanation to the FNaF World happiest day screen
I love that you explain the terms the fandom use
I remember when I got back into fnaf theories I could not understand what MCI was, so I really appreciate you explaining the terms you’re using!
Thank you so much that's so kind!
This actually gave me chills because it works so well from a storytelling perspective... the science behind trying to free the trapped soul of a child with essentially no good memories to do so is such a fucking tragic concept and somehow manages to make the afton story even more morbid than we once thought
It also kind of rebrands Michael's quest as less of a noble, brotherly thing to do to almost a necessary journey he is obligated to take if he seeks redemption
Just spitballing here though, lots of cool thematic things going on here that your theory really breathes some life into, well done ‼️

@@CandiBuunny Now that I can relate with, greatly dislike playing horror, but also absolutely love FNaF.
Well done , you've pretty much convinced me!
The only real differences I have in mind are Cassidy not being VS, Andrew being the plush, Henry being the Fright Guard, and Happiest Day happening during FNaF 6.
I think this theory can def still work if you think Andrew is the VS, but Happiest Day happening during fnaf 6 might be a harder sell for me
My only criticism (and I believe this is overall a well-made, well-thought-out video) is I feel like the lack of acknowledgment of the visual graphics ques in the deeper layer of FNAF World may create a sense of disconnect to some of your points.
This is really solid analysis and works really well with GiBi from The Horror Homestead's Arcade Theory
man you really blew my mind with this theory and HOW UNDERRATED YOU ARE😭keep it up man I'm so keen on seeing your future theories
Imo it’s not a circus it’s a festival
I think something a-lot of people overlook is that fnaf world is the first game in the fnaf into madness ark that is still ongoing so we are still going through the story that fnaf world hinted at
This theory is very compelling! And there are not a lot of theories that try to explain FNAF world (at least to my knowledge). Great job!

I really like this theory! On my second viewing I noticed it also answers a really long-standing question I had about Happiest Day’s placement in the timeline. This is really satisfying because it makes sense of Happiest Day happening in FNAF 3 and the story continuing forward through Pizzaria Simulator.

I will put you back together."
I sometimes wonder if William was referring to Michael - the broken son who killed his brother.
⚠️SPOILER ALERT FOR THE NEW "THE WEEK BEFORE BOOK⚠️
25:57 One of the endings in that book kind of confirms dual possession theory that ending consists of phone guy hearing a phone call of the crying child's birthday where he cries for help and for Mike to stop but even after phone guy hangs up he can still hear the child crying and he gets killed by an animatronic so suddenly he doesn't even see which animatronic did it
This confirms either golden duo or shatter victim (shatter victim being that the crying child's memories are scattered across all other missing children) either way it confirms the crying child sharing an animatronic with a missing child whoever it could be.
I love that we got that phone call in the Week Before combined with the Springlock phone call in Into the Pit. SO good
I’m so glad that you took the time out of your theory to explain the simple things for the people who haven’t played the games but still want to watch theories(like me).
You know just to add to the Puppet/Charlie being the one helping with happiest day, I think it's interesting that the Puppet is the only other physical animatronic in the building along with spring trap
Evidence being it's clean appearance on cameras and the fact it produces a reflection in the puddle on the ground.
Yoooooo you got me convinced, I love this theory!
This is honestly the moat well explained and supported fnaf theory Ive seen! Love it!!!!
Thank you I'm so proud of this one!
This is an absolute banger of a video! An amazing theory, mixed in with absolute hilarity. Keep it up!!
Really well substantiated arguments for your theories, great writing, professional audio and effective editing. You're the whole FNAF theorist package despite being new in this space, instant sub.
Now excuse me while I go back to lurking as a binge-watch there rest of your content. keep up the good work and take care!
Thank you this was so kind! I'll make more vids so you have more to binge
this is the best theory i've ever seen, and i've been in the community since fnaf 4.
The pieces that fall into place don't feel like they're going to change, its SOLID (unlike most theories)
Thank you this was so kind! I'm so glad you liked it!
Honestly. This makes a lot of sense. I never thought of it that day. I just figured since Scott gave up on fnaf world and am pretty sure said that it's no longer canon so I just completely wrote it off as even possibly being canon anymore.
You just explained this better to me than any theory video I’ve ever watched like genuinely
LOVE IT
This is the best theory I've seen in a long time, keep up the good work! I'm excited to see what you come up with next!!
this makes me wonder about when we go down to the 4th Glitch again in UCN. it even gives edits your FNAF World save files and gives you the OMC trophy.
Hehehe I've got THEORIES but you'll have to wait to hear them
Top theory, never mind that you call Dave CC it's amazing!
That makes so many things click together, well done!
Thank you!! 😊
Top ten ways to immediately hook me with your fnaf theory number one: fnaf world
Jokes aside though, it always disappointed me when people would completely ignore fnaf world when theory making, partly because its my favorite fnaf game, and partly because theres a LOT going on with it in terms of theory material. im rEAALLY happy its finally getting more widespread attention from the theory scene. Thank you for making this video!!
I think you just solved which ending in FNaF 3 is the true ending, made things a lot more clear and made a lot more sense and resolved FNaF world
Watching this video this early in your channel's history feels like watching an early RyeToast, FuhNaff, or ID's Fantasy video. I can see HUGE things for this channel. Incredible stuff!
Thank you so much!!
To me there's at least three, one of minor importance, one of high importance and one who never trully went anywhere (redconned before seeing the end of it)
The least important one is Phantom Freddy who looks exactly like Withered Golden Freddy from fnaf 2 instead of Withered Freddy, and while the book story "What we find" explains that the Phantoms are trauma enduced hallucinations caused by the agony present within Springtrap, however it's very likely that before the major changes of fnaf world uptate 2 and SL the Phantoms where most likely actual paranormal manifestations of the children spirits.
Cause the color of that line dialogue matches with the ones of the eyes of fnaf world, meaning that they are one and the same... except there's actually a character in fnaf world who has the same color for theirs dialogues... and at first it does look completely random:
It's the little girl with red pigtails, green eyes and a red skirt....
So I fucked up on my writing the red haired girl is in fnaf 4....
I love all of this. It does make me wonder if in the story it was Elizabeth who was saying she'd put CC back together
I really hope Scott revisits the game someday so I can tear it to pieces for more lore haha. Animdude/puppet master are still sort of an enigma to me
I've always thought that golden freddy was still in the back, but because of the no eyes glowing you just can't see him
I could be thinking too much about it but the FNAF 3 minigames could easily be Mike playing the arcade machines which could make it similar to a princess quest situation.
This is the first time I’ve been so blown away from a theory 🤯🤯 just subscribed 😎
Thank you!!
My favorite movie explaining my favorite FNAF game.
I am hooked. Love the theories.
Yoooo! Great theory! I’m glad I got the chance to see this. You made a really strong case and i hope this ends up getting the attention it deserves! Can’t wait to see more :D
Thank you so much!! I'm still so proud of this theory so I hope so too!!
i fear you ate this up!! thank you for the theory!!!❤ keep up the great work!!
Thank you! Very kind
wahhh just watched this after your kidnapping theory and I had to subscribe your theories are so good and you deserve so much more recognition in the community !!!
Thank you so much and just know that I read "wahhh" in the voice of Luigi lol
YOUR SO UNDERATTED WTF this is such a good theoryyyy!!!
Thank you!
maybe the puppet is present because it took both charlotte and cassidy to both convince dave his brother did love him and to alter the memory of his death? cassidy did the work of dredging up the memory, but that put her out of commission. someone else would have to do the rest of the work remaining to give dave his happiest day, and i feel like the puppet and michael both fill that role together- michael in proving his love for dave, and charlie in all the spirit shenanigans
I love this so much. I love how it brings all the major players together to help each other
Absolutely incredible video, great job :), also another thing that was pointed out recently to me is that in fnaf 3, phantom Freddy may also be golden Freddy, resemblance is very close too
Did I really just watch one of the best theories from FNAF World while waiting for my online class to start?!
Wow, this is so compelling and just so well structured and edited and everything, new subscriber and I'll have to binge watch all your other videos when I have the chance!!! ^^
Aww thank you!! Hope class went well
Love it, love the story, love everything about it, and got a genuine hard laugh out of 'because Scott didn't make malware'
Great vid!
I legit contacted a friend in cybersecurity to figure out the actual definition of malware to make sure that joke was accurate. So glad you appreciated!
I LOVE YOUR THEORIES. This is the most underrated channel ever. Keep on doing videos
Amazing theory 10/10, I think this is a great explanation to why GF is missing in FNAF 3. Though I've also heard the idea that it's because the vengeful spirit is already attached to Afton by then since they're also missing in FNAF6
Good point! If I stick with this theory for my final timeline, which I will unless a new game or book reexplains Happiest Day, I'll have to figure out the Fnaf 6 absence another way
This video and the theory was so well made, especially for being your first one! You got yourself a new fan
everything i learn about FNAF World just makes me appreciate it more
I’ve always thought the Freddy suit in that one easter egg where it’s the corner of the FNAF 3 office was Golden Freddy.
OOOOO A BANGER! Really good ideas and everything was very well thought out
I really love this it's very narratively satisfying!!
