my art is finished...almost!

It's so satisfying isn't it when you get something done...and this week brings us closer to the end of this piece. Then I'll just do the sides and the back and ta-da, it's done ready to hang! Thanks so much for your company as I've worked through the ups and downs of this piece...

Yes 😍those 😋 yummy fabric scraps l working on a scrap piece can't bare to throw out even a whisper of a scrap l be the one to give to the quilt shop to look at scrap box for a decent 🤑l like this so l not cut into my larger cuts of fabric l known to do a swiss 🧀 cut then becomes useless for my larger projects 😉.

aw that's a beautiful thing to say! I'm honoured if you sail and you get it. It was a most interesting piece to work on, and the sense of history is tangible. I grew up near the sea, so I always has a strong connection with it ( def not a sailor tho!!) xx
