I like the idea, but I wish you guys did the same thing with the normal Junction. That being, have it separate from the harness. That way we could get that pocket harness and not have to pay the extra money for a harness we don't plan to use or don't need since our other HPG packs came with one. Save us some money and purchase exactly what we want. If you guys did that, id buy one my next paycheck since I was looking for a new daypack!
I like the concept. I think it makes a lot of sense. I am just too rough for sil-nylon I think because I have a tendency to destroy my gear (which is why I have mainly switched to HPG gear which seems to last). It would be cool to get sil-nylon rain covers though to double up with dry sacks to protect gear (especially blaze orange sil-nylon for hunting season).
It's an idea that's been around a long time. One of the neatest iterations I've seen is a stuff sack for inside your pack that doubles as a daypack. Our version is going to carry much more comfortably than any of those that are out there that we're aware of. Either way, it's a special use pack meant to be used occasionally as a supplement to a main pack or suitcase.
This looks like it would fit inside a belt pack when compressed. That would be a very neat storage option for a 'just in case' bag that you might have lying around somewhere. Love the idea.
I love it. I would suggest making a hybrid version. Make the parts more likely to see abrasion out of 500 D cordura or maybe some strategically placed hypalon strips, and the other parts silnylon.
I think this Junction travel paired with an AHBC or stripped down Ute is an excellent travel combo. I've tried a lot of your bags and the junction is the perfect size for having what you need and lots of water. I know it would add cost and complexity but some sort of tweve pocket on the ouside of the front undeath the paracord would be handly in lieu of a line pocket.
Not a sil nylon request, but I think a purpose made decker dry bag would be great. I'm not sure which would work best on the front, either a welded on 6/12 arrangement with six buckles like Decker pocket or a simpler arrangement like some of the pack bags. But what would be really helpful would be hang tabs on the back of the drybag to match up with the grimlocks on the Decker. No idea how feasible this would be though.
We've got a specific sea to summit model of dry bag on display in our shop that fits the Decker as if it was made for it. Including tabs on the side that are spaced for the Decker straps. We should probably stock that dry bag online and in the shop.
A sil-nylon Tara would be awesome! That said, I would probably not buy one. The only sil-nylon pack that I've had just couldn't stand up to the abuse I gave it, and I'm probably even harder on my packs now then I was then.
I think a silnylon Tara kept in an an M2016 Buttpack would be great for spill over. The issue would the harness. Made from cordura, it wouldnt compress enough. Made from silnylon (if that could even be done) it wouldnt be anywhere near as good with a load.
I hate that these are so limited. You cant ever seem to find the one you want in stock. Nothin more aggravating than having a pocket full of money and still not being able to buy what you want. I have been on the waiting list for woodland camo for 6 months. Just saw the tiger stripe release. That is one that you wont be able to get, im sure of it.
There *is* something more aggravating than having the money and not being able to get the product -- try knowing that there are hundreds of people you could satisfy if only you could get as much inventory in as you want. We are *constantly* increasing production and it's still never enough. In 10 Christmases of doing this, there has been only one year that we weren't completely out of products by early December. And of course it's a problem throughout the year as well. Believe me, our product availability issues aren't because we want it that way and they aren't because our manufacturer wants it that way. Having a demand larger than you can supply is a good problem to have, but it's still a continual aggravation. The only way to solve it in a substantial way is to lower quality by outsourcing to overseas factories or lowering the quality bar for factories in the states. We're not going to do either of those things.

Cool idea, it's basically a bag away from a bag. Would be great for day hikes from camp or an emergency bag since it stores so small.

This will be great for slack packing. Great addition to the lineup!
Would love to see a chest rig using the Sil Nylon. Something lighter at least.

Cool lightweight option
Nice .
Seems great.
I like it, cool material if you haven't had it in hand.
Umlindi v2 in Sil?

@@HillPeopleGear thanks for the reply, I'll have a look at Sea to Summit.
@@harrilittle The specific model is the "Big River Dry Bag 65L"
Have you guys thought about making versions with dyneema?
Yes. Dyneema is largely a marketing gimmick. Very little real world applicability outside of shelters.
