Just bought a 2022 Grand Cherokee, 10K miles, from a dealer that had just been unloaded off the transport truck. We had first crack at it: drove it, compared it to other vehicles, and made a deal. Love it except for all the good electronics stuff included with it. Finding these videos VERY HELPFUL!
Best video I have found to date. The Tom Tom navigation system is useless for my use when not in cellular range and for overlanding when I need different information. I need to find out how to access Gaia GPS from my tablet!
We bought a new 2023 Grand Cherokee L Limited trim 6 months ago with the new Uconnect 5. We couldn't wait to trade that sucker back in for a 2023 Cherokee Trailhawk with good old proven Uconnect4. The Uconnect5 was one big PITA! It wouldn't play my thumbdrive we used with our Uconnect4. The memory for driver 1 evaporated for no reason. I wish anybody a lot of luck with this Uconnect5. We will never purchase another Jeep/Ram/Dodge product which utilizes it.
Good job! One question: If I have 2 bluetooth devices connected to the infotainment at the same time which one does it use for navigation and music? I can see how it could be confusing.
Look at the window sticker, it's there. Basically, if it's a nightmare to operate you got the Uconnect5 and with your model and year I would assume you have the 5--good luck; you'll need it.
@@AStanton1966 Dude relax. Its not a bad system. I have it on mine. There's a lot of features, maybe too many but mine works just fine. At least so far. I like it.
@@treydrier3169 JD Power just reduced the Ram truck in their consumer ratings due to the new UConnect5. I'm very relaxed; I don't have the system, so I won't be going to the dealer to deal with it.
I have a 2021 JGC L High Altitude. My unconnect sounds chippy when I use it. Any idea on why that is. It’s chippy when I use a cord or if I connect via Bluetooth.
Did anyone have any issues with the screen flickering, driver's side speaker and tweeter on same side not working, and the screen not coming on from time to time?

I have a 2019 jeep compass and the turn signals do not chime or make that clicking sound. Can that be fixed?
Check your settings control in the Compass and maybe your hearing.

Can you add nav to a 23 g/c that doesn’t come with nav
Yes if you connect via Apple Car Play or Android Auto you can use your phone's maps.
