- Hey Scrappers! Josh here with another VEGAS 19 video and today I'll be showing you all of the preset Styles in the Style Transfer plugin along with the 5 new styles that they added. I'll also be showing you how to create your own custom style using any reference picture very easily.

It's an interesting feature, but honestly, not one high on my list of "must haves".
The great thing about the plugin is that you can not only create artistic effects but also recolor and redesign scenes. Create an evening scene with a sunrise in the reference image.
The new adjustment layer in VP 19 was made for plugins like this.
I have used this feature to produce live music videos and it works really well...I used the mosaic one most recently and would maybe consider others if appropriate. The only issue I have with it is the very slow playback and the extremely slow pre rendering times and I have an extremely powerful computer so I would hate to do it on one that wasn't really set up for video editing. In fact I reckon I can render it normally in a fraction of the time it takes to pre-render it !!! Go figure
Kind of a novelty I would expect in a cheaper editor to be honest. I can't see a use in my videos at all.
Custom and candy one are good
The render when I add the Style Transfer plugin does not use my GPU (I used Voukoder). Is there a switch to enable GPU acceleration for the Style Transfer plugin?
I'm curious. MyVegas 18 keeps crashing when I add photos to my timeline. My preview window starts turning red and then it just starts crashing. Any suggestions?
The red screen is a hint that the GPU crashed. Please check for a driver update, the preferences for encoder and decoder and of cause the video processing (Intel or NVIDIA). Otherwise deactive the GPU in the preference.

I no longer have a Windows Operating System on My computer, so Vegas pro means nothing to me!

This was available to still frames for ages. Not very useful for videos. I hardly see much use for it beside cliche videos.
Sometimes Cliche videos are fun to make!
This feature is a cool idea but in practice, all of the styles look god awful
