We were also stranded in Fiji for 8 months last year. We downsized our whole house and decided to live around the world with our baby boy. Fiji was our first stop. I wish we saw you guys in Musket Cove! It is so interesting to see you experiencing Fiji in a completely different way from our land life. We also make vlogs to document our travel. I completely understand when Elizabeth says how happy she is to have these videos to look back to. We are the same. These videos took a lot of time but we are so happy to make them and our boy loves watching his own videos! We also went to Taveuni, it is our favourite island! We took our 1.5 year old boy on the dive boat. LOL. They told us it’s the first time they have baby onboard. Fiji means so much to us now that we returned home with our 2nd baby Ocean. I tell my husband I hope next time we visit Fiji we can sail over like you guys!! I’m enjoying following your grand journey and waiting for the world to reopen again, so our family exploration can continue. All the best from Hong Kong!! Chance
Once again I really love watching your channel, I always look forward to the next episode. I have say, the scuba diving scene has to be your best production yet. The music, the video shots, the assembly, the narration. I very much appreciate your art!
OMG Seth and Elizabeth, what an incredible life you are giving your kids, I have said it before but your channel is truly beyond words, there are no words.
Agree. This video is epic. The scenery is absolutely breathtaking and the narrative is informative describing the beauty that you're surrounded by. I am totally mesmerised.
Spectacular Vid!! Amazing waters you are sailing presently! Love you Boy’s enthusiasm… What wonderful memories you have created for them for the rest of their lives…BRAVO Mom and Dad!!
An absolutely beautiful journey with an equally beautiful family. (And friends). In the mist of all that is going on here in the states it’s an absolute pleasure to be able to escape with y’all for a few minutes. Thank you for sharing your travels with us and also thank you for taking the time to edit these beautiful videos.
It’s a privilege “travelling” with you and seeing magical places we would never be able to see. I also love seeing the sights through the children’s eyes. Thank you 😘
What a fantastic education your giving your kids, they like yourselves will never forget where you guys have been and where you are going, you are all blessed with each other and your friends, looking already to next weeks edition
When I come back in my next lifetime I intend to spend a great deal of time here and the Yasawa Islands Our Children also love Fiji. No doubt mixed feelings when they see just how much fun they are missing out on. Thanks again for sharing. BTW Tully in QLD Australia have a water slide you'll enjoy! If I didn't say it before. Money can fill your pockets but adventure will fill your soul!
I wait eagerly each week for you next episode. This one was one of my favorites. To watch your family enjoying paradise is like being there. I can only imagine the stories that your boys will tell to their future children and grandchildren. Each one of you could write wonderful books about your adventures. Thank you for capturing the wonders of your trip.
Great episode!! Everything looked magical from the Bay of Island to the incredible diversity of marine life. So many different shapes and colors of fish and coral was beyond anything I could imagine. To be there and see it in person I'm sure was even more spectacular.
Perfect example of the seas not rising, is that lagoon @4:00 is at the same level when you were there 9 years ago. Look at the rocks in the middle of the lagoon. Thousands of years of water erosion at the same level.
Fun fact: Taveuni is also known for waterfalls. There are hundreds of waterfalls in the island. The eastern and south eastern side of the island have many waterfalls cascading straight out down to the sea
Simply an epic adventure. Thanks for sharing your adventures with us here at home. Just awesome! The folks on Puuhanoah have a wonderful boat as well. I saw this boat advertised for sale by original owners a little over a year ago. Boat has very cool & unique features. God bless you all, fair winds, following seas & safe travels. 👍😎👍💕
You’ve done it again another fab vid with the most incredible backdrops of the Fijian Island. That beauty is exquisite! Nice work on the backing sound track on the underwater dive scene👍
I saw a couple of other people go to sailing reggattas it was funny. There was no wind and everybody pretty much dropped out and went & got drunk. hilarious.
Outstanding video!! Thanks for sharing!! Knowing video is far away from experience it, at least gives a fesh air on the boring normal week here around! Thanks!!!!!
Bula vinaka and welcome again to the Fiji Islands. I was hoping you to visit my island in the Lau Group. My island is Moce Island close to Namuka. Anyways maybe next time. God bless you and the family.
@@TheSailingFamily Fantastic idea, taking the whole family around the world. The boys will never forget it. My son's 15 now. I actually started watching you guys when I was a stay at home dad, taking care of our newborn, while my wife was in Med School.

Exactly. That's what we do now. Plus you have the ability to adjust the line over time, moving the wear points on the halyard. It's definitely the way to go. ~Seth
Ha. Yeah, we've been a bit late the last couple weeks. Should return to normal now, I hope! And no, Pu does not, but he's got some incredible surfing footage and he's working on a video. We'll share it when they're done! Thanks for watching and leaving a comment. ~Seth
Ah, the splice of life. Those "mushroom" rocks reminds me of the location of the filming of Gold Finger, (James Bond) on the island where the solar laser was housed. Not sure if that was China or Hong Kong. Amazing. Nice to revisit fond memories. Did you ever imagine you would be back with 3 kids in tow?
What was the water temperature on those slides? We have natural slides all over the place here in Colorado. But they generally are fed from snowmelt upstream. It takes a brave person to slide in that cold water.
Did you guys know there's someone else on UA-cam with the same name? The sailing family. For a second I thought I missed a whole series of your vids with a completely different boat.
We stumbled upon the Bay of Islands the first time, but this go around we knew about it. There is a Cruising Fiji Guide that shares a lot of the top anchorages. But some are still uncovered (like Ogea was). Thanks for watching!
Elizabeth I thought of a cookbook you might find helpful when you are out at sea and away from a grocery store. It is called “I can’t believe it is food storage” and the author is Crystal Godfrey. It is all about cooking amazing dishes with food storage items. You can find it on Amazon along with her other books.

A new type of one design regatta that combines sailing and catching fish. I like it.
Haha. Yes, pretty fun cruising with friends in an identical boat! ~Seth

Beautiful video, always wanted to visit the South Pacific. Those kids must be exhausted after spending the day going up and down those slides!
That's always our plan. To drive them to exhaustion. It's hard to do! ~Seth
I wasn't expecting a plastic slide, but you still over delivered! Great video.

For halyards with the new synthetics, use a halyard hitch instead of splices. Quicker, stronger, and more secure.
Exactly. That's what we do now. Plus you have the ability to adjust the line over time, moving the wear points on the halyard. It's definitely the way to go. ~Seth
Awesome as usual. Hope you continue your travels COVID free! Take care. 😎
