ABOUT US: We are a family of five sailing around the world on a performance catamaran named "Archer." Ten years ago B.K. ("before kids"), we sailed a Lagoon 380 named "Honeymoon" halfway around the world to Sydney, Australia. Along the way we shared our experiences via UA-cam and, by happenstance, created one of the very first "sailing channels." We also realized what an incredible experience we were having and that someday we wanted to do it again, only this time with kids.
OUR ROUTE has taken us from the Boston/Cape Cod area of the United States down to the Caribbean and through the Panama Canal. We have dealt with massive repairs in the South Pacific, the Coronavirus lock down in New Zealand, a Category 5 Cyclone in Fiji, and now we are cruising in Covid Free Australia. Videos for all of this to come!

THANKS for watching all. Subscribe and never miss an episode!
We were also stranded in Fiji for 8 months last year. We downsized our whole house and decided to live around the world with our baby boy. Fiji was our first stop. I wish we saw you guys in Musket Cove! It is so interesting to see you experiencing Fiji in a completely different way from our land life. We also make vlogs to document our travel. I completely understand when Elizabeth says how happy she is to have these videos to look back to. We are the same. These videos took a lot of time but we are so happy to make them and our boy loves watching his own videos! We also went to Taveuni, it is our favourite island! We took our 1.5 year old boy on the dive boat. LOL. They told us it’s the first time they have baby onboard. Fiji means so much to us now that we returned home with our 2nd baby Ocean. I tell my husband I hope next time we visit Fiji we can sail over like you guys!! I’m enjoying following your grand journey and waiting for the world to reopen again, so our family exploration can continue. All the best from Hong Kong!!

Cool insights. Thanks for letting us know - and thanks for watching! ~Seth
A new type of one design regatta that combines sailing and catching fish. I like it.
Haha. Yes, pretty fun cruising with friends in an identical boat! ~Seth
Once again I really love watching your channel, I always look forward to the next episode. I have say, the scuba diving scene has to be your best production yet. The music, the video shots, the assembly, the narration. I very much appreciate your art!
Thanks! It's helpful when there is so much beauty to share. What a dive, right!?
~Seth
Whoever does your video editing is really good. I watch a lot of these sailboat videos and your editing and videography is as good as anyone's.
We do it all! Thanks for noticing and commenting.
Again, that was wonderful. You have a real way of showing us the places we can't get to. Thanks Archer family. Thumbs up!!!
Ditto
The scuba scenery was magical but the drone work at the Bay of Islands was spectacular!
Almost crashed it there flying through the gorge! So glad I didn't! ~Seth
...th waterside gave me a thrill. I can only imagine the memory this will be for everyone.😉
Agree. This video is epic. The scenery is absolutely breathtaking and the narrative is informative describing the beauty that you're surrounded by. I am totally mesmerised.
An absolutely beautiful journey with an equally beautiful family. (And friends). In the mist of all that is going on here in the states it’s an absolute pleasure to be able to escape with y’all for a few minutes. Thank you for sharing your travels with us and also thank you for taking the time to edit these beautiful videos.

Climate Lulu
Good job on educating the local kids on the topic of rising water levels
You are an amazing family. I’m living vicariously through your grand adventure 😀
Thanks for watching!
Fun fact: Taveuni is also known for waterfalls. There are hundreds of waterfalls in the island. The eastern and south eastern side of the island have many waterfalls cascading straight out down to the sea
Delightful family. Wonderful trip info. 🌺
Your flow is Over The Top in Infinite Categories....Highest Blessings in Action....Wonder Full to witness !
I saw a couple of other people go to sailing reggattas it was funny. There was no wind and everybody pretty much dropped out and went & got drunk. hilarious.

When I come back in my next lifetime I intend to spend a great deal of time here and the Yasawa Islands Our Children also love Fiji. No doubt mixed feelings when they see just how much fun they are missing out on. Thanks again for sharing. BTW Tully in QLD Australia have a water slide you'll enjoy! If I didn't say it before. Money can fill your pockets but adventure will fill your soul!
Beautiful underwater video. Thank you.

What a fantastic education your giving your kids, they like yourselves will never forget where you guys have been and where you are going, you are all blessed with each other and your friends, looking already to next weeks edition
It's a pretty incredible way to grow up. Lucky ducks. And next week is another good one! ~S
I wait eagerly each week for you next episode. This one was one of my favorites. To watch your family enjoying paradise is like being there. I can only imagine the stories that your boys will tell to their future children and grandchildren. Each one of you could write wonderful books about your adventures. Thank you for capturing the wonders of your trip.
Wow, thank you!
oohh they are completely tired out! sweet
Words fail me... Wow. The only way I get to see these locations is with your family. This is what dreams are made off. 👍🏼❤️
Such an amazing life! ~S
I love the stutter and word change of "hell" to "heck". I had to laugh. thanks for sharing your journey.
Glad you enjoyed it! Rhys was SO COLD. Felt like a bad Dad that day. :) ~Seth
Great episode!! Everything looked magical from the Bay of Island to the incredible diversity of marine life. So many different shapes and colors of fish and coral was beyond anything I could imagine. To be there and see it in person I'm sure was even more spectacular.
Thanks Mathew. That dive was amazing. Such a healthy reef. Good to see... ~Seth
I will give it a 10
The kids will look back on this and enjoy the memories long after mom and dad has passed. Wow what beautiful memoirs
Memories for all!!! ~S
Always great pictures! Many thanks!
Great episode. Thanks!
Perfect example of the seas not rising, is that lagoon @4:00 is at the same level when you were there 9 years ago. Look at the rocks in the middle of the lagoon. Thousands of years of water erosion at the same level.
Simply an epic adventure. Thanks for sharing your adventures with us here at home. Just awesome!
The folks on Puuhanoah have a wonderful boat as well. I saw this boat advertised for sale by original owners a little over a year ago. Boat has very cool & unique features.
God bless you all, fair winds, following seas & safe travels. 👍😎👍💕
And your journey continues to amaze!
As always, i enjoyed watching your videos. Be safe at all times.

"Oh the adventures you'll have"
Wow!
Thanks for watching!
Love tuning every Tuesday(ish) to watch your adventures! Does Pu not UA-cam? I’d love to follow their journey too!
Ha. Yeah, we've been a bit late the last couple weeks. Should return to normal now, I hope! And no, Pu does not, but he's got some incredible surfing footage and he's working on a video. We'll share it when they're done! Thanks for watching and leaving a comment. ~Seth
Ah, the splice of life. Those "mushroom" rocks reminds me of the location of the filming of Gold Finger, (James Bond) on the island where the solar laser was housed. Not sure if that was China or Hong Kong. Amazing. Nice to revisit fond memories. Did you ever imagine you would be back with 3 kids in tow?
Yeah, we saw rocks like this in Thailand but were not expecting it here in Fiji! ~S
Very beautiful
Thank you! Cheers!
Epic ! You should have more subscribers!
Yeah, we seem to have very high viewership. Hope the subscribers will follow! ~Seth
For halyards with the new synthetics, use a halyard hitch instead of splices. Quicker, stronger, and more secure.
Exactly. That's what we do now. Plus you have the ability to adjust the line over time, moving the wear points on the halyard. It's definitely the way to go. ~Seth
Did you guys know there's someone else on UA-cam with the same name? The sailing family. For a second I thought I missed a whole series of your vids with a completely different boat.
There’s a few with similar names actually. It’s just how it goes. Can’t trademark it. Oh well...
What was the water temperature on those slides? We have natural slides all over the place here in Colorado. But they generally are fed from snowmelt upstream. It takes a brave person to slide in that cold water.
Bula vina'a Dip....😂😂😂😂😂
