Always making me smile. You have the formula down. Your videos are by far the best on UA-cam. Thank you again for sharing your lives with the world. Stay safe.
I enjoy watching several sailing videos of folks sailing around the world and have decided the Sailing Family is my favorite with Sailing Zartara a close second. Elizabeth and Seth do a wonderful job at presentations and the boys appear to be happy. Nice family and I’m sure I would like Seth in real life. Be safe Seth and family!
Yea! I’m first! For the best sailing channel out there. Love the surfing, I’ve been surfing all my life, so jealous. This channel so rocks! I don’t think there is a better way to live! And how lucky are you, Seth, to have Elizabeth as your fellow adventurer for life, just incredible, you guys always leave me without words.
My wife and I are addicted to your video's and adventures. We wished we could have given our son and daughter that kind of life. But it is what it is. Funny thing, we've never sailed a boat, we have no clue what it all means when you describe the winds are apparent, and this and that ... different names of the sails. BUT it doesn't matter. At 70 I'm not about to start sailing (but I do still hike mountains and fly my drones). Thank You and your wonderful family for putting out such perfect videos. We absolutely look forward to each episode !!!
Love your comment! As you say, you really don't need to know, and sailing is really third or fourth, or tenth, in rank of what we are trying to do here. But "True Wind" is what you would feel standing still. But if you walked toward the wind, the "apparent wind" would increase, which is what happens when a sailboat sails up wind too. Since the wind hitting the sails changes, the "apparent wind" becomes the more important measure of the wind speed. I hope that helps!!! ~Seth

Hi ,last year you were here , did you sail from Aust to NZ then back to Fiji and now it's the plan to come to Australia again. Many boats have been stuck in Fiji for 2 years !
I've always been a sucker for former race boats being restored as cruisers, but I still love living on a catamaran. My only critique of the 80 footer would be the lack of windows when inside. We sailed so far so that we could experience these places and I feel like you miss so much with a monohull. But that aside, I would trade up for something faster and fancier, if money was no object. Perhaps an HH50 or HH55? The older Gunboats were great too, but require a crew to operate (except the GB48). But, alas, money matters and we're pretty much in our dream boat now. Pinching ourselves every day! ~Seth
