Bought this exact one new for $ 1500 at the end of 1985. Never broke anything except the plastic. Maybe should have never sold it. It's the one that will always get you home.
Awesome. The 200x is one of the greatest things ever built. Motors were solid and dependable. Love those things. Thanks for sharing Ben. Happy New Year Brother. 🌲❤🌲✊🪓
Beautiful ATC! I grew up riding all of the old school ATC's, starting with the 110 and the 200s and later the 200x and 250r. I've ridden the 200x more than any of them, much more! These are so much fun and were always so reliable! I love the exhaust, it sounds great! My very last ride was on a 1985 200x, I blacked out from dehydration while I was going about 50 MPH and when I did I veered off the trail and hit a tree head on, my head hit the tree which broke my neck and pinched my spinal cord leaving me paralyzed from the chest down. That was almost 23 years ago and I still miss riding my ATC's and my dirt bike. Watching this brought back a lot of memories, thanks for sharing!
I had a new brand new 200sx back in 1987-88 .It was so hard to kick start after you shut her down. I got stuck out in the middle of the dunes at Pismo beach one evening and had to stay there over night because it was to dark to try to find my way back to camp. I loved that thing for the 3 or 4 years i had it .. until i upgraded to a 250R quad :) Then they outlawed 2 strokes !
Such a beautiful thing 🥰🥰🥰 this ATC was and will always be the very best. I dream to one day own again perhaps restore. Id not even know where to start. Enjoy and thanks for sharing she looks lovely in this video you did great 👏👏👏
I saved your video and came back while skipping through and man oh man amazing just look at her in that snow its nostalgic - I hope to one day get my hands on one again especially in that climate 🥰
True story! I converted it a long time ago. I actually like the thumb throttle better on these. I'm a tight right hand turn I actually reach over the top of the grip with two forefingers and grab the thumb throttle from underneath. Twist throttle is kinda tricky on tight right hands haha
@@samishsawworks5870 I was riding someone else's hotrodded trx with twist...once I got on the throttle, it threw me back and I couldn't get off, ha! Yikes! I crashed mine and nearly missed some boulders in the sand bruised my legs all up...sold it.
That’s cool! I was young when these came out and dreamed of owning one. When I think of these I remember seeing them in the snow ripping around so this vid brought back the memories. Trikes are fun to ride but I’ve never ridden a 200X.
i luv them old ladys i have a few i realy appreciate them trikes too much fun to ride im from nyc now living in columbia sc and having a blast in these dirtsssss keep sharing videos dont let 20 more years passs
Nice X! I have an 85 that is in fantastic original condition, saw your thumbnail and had to stop in and say hi and watch the video. Got an 85 R as well at the same time in a package deal.
I HAD ONE OF THESE AS A TEEN! Such good memories.
That's sweet! I had one when I was 16 it ripped!
I wish I still had my 1985 honda 200X
Me too , I used to ride it all winter in the snow and it was so fun

Loved the 200X but they were cold starters. We also mule kicked ours to start it cold rather than kick from the seat!
That pre photo or click on photo is like a christmas card!...I LOVE IT!
That is some old school cool right there! That brings back memories! Thanks for sharing buddy! Happy new year! 👍👍👍👍🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🙏🙏🙏🙏

I still got my 1986 I bought in January 1987 new off showroom floor! Ride it to work almost every day!
Might be the coolest story I've ever heard. That's awesome!!

Those are way more fun in the snow than a chainsaw 😂
She has not skipped a beat because she's made in Japan.

Sick!!! I want that bumper so bad! If you want to make another and ship it to me tell me a price!
Hey any chance you would make another rear bumper? I’d love to have one for my ‘83 200x thanks
Which twist throttle kit is that?
Where did you get the exhaust?

Miss my 200x. Was more fun than anything I've ridden
Very awesome, you should put some blue fork boots on it!
Nice three wheeler, you gotta love the Honda’s.
I've got the exact same trike myself. All original. Only problem is headlight keeps blowing.
Bad voltage regulator
Good video!
Man don't know how to ride that machine
Sell it
