Cesar you are just amazing. Cause of you and your videos 911, I learned how to communicate with my 9yo pitbull when he was a puppy and now be an excellent and very friendly dog! Thanks for everything. George-Greece

Authority...firm....and no fear
u gotta show the dog ur the master ur the one in control they go off ur emotions so u dont show fear
The dog will go by your energy. Are you a 'leader' type personality or a 'follower' type personality? If you have a strong assertive energy you can stop the unwanted behavior. If you show or have any sign of weakness or fear, that dog will and can pick up on that energy. You also have to understand your dog's bite. Is it a playful bite or more agressive/insecure/unsure bite? If the dog has a playful bite you have to teach the dog when and what type of biting is appropriate, e.g. playing with the dog you can allow your dog to 'bite' but you need to also know and understand the pressure of the bite. Having pull ropes with a ball attached is a good game of playful biting. Never use your hands unless you know what you are doing. I have learned that one myself and through that, it taught me the different pressure bites in play. I hope you understand what I am trying to say here. If the dog is trying to bite you when you are not paying the dog attention and he or she wants to play, you have to let them know, that now is not the right time just by either a word or a sound and your energy will let the dog know, that that is not the behavior you want at that time. When you iniciate the play and show the dog attention when you are ready, again the dog will pick up on your energy and think oh now daddy wants to play with me. Hope you get it sorted.

Bro, they got a Vizsla. My neighbour has a Vizsla. He would walk that dog one hour in the morning. Then go jogging with her for an hour and a half in the evening. And then right after the jog, she would run sprints around her backyard and bark at my dogs. Those dogs are **EXTREMELY** active. To a point where you have to walk them for over 2 hours a day, and for some Vizsla dogs that's still not enough exercise. Vizsla's are extremely athletic.
Edit: Actually I can see her right now from my upstairs window doing laps in her backyard. lol
Exact same routine with my dog. I got a dalmatian. But have to give him proper recovery here cuz indian climate hot and humid.
Vizsla are originally hunting dogs and I have seen them as well as a cousin of the breed the Rhodesian ridge back become great obedience and trialing dogs what you have written is just a case of someone not training their dog and in the case of the puppy not knowing how to train and socialise a puppy. What milan did has nothing to do with both just a simple trick you can teach any dog in five minutes which has nothing to do with informing the owner of the dog what they actually should be doing.
Ikr! We only have a little Bedlington cross whos 10 years old and we walk him 2/ 3 times a day for a good 3 hours in the morning at 8 am then a hour or so around 5pm and he still has energy when we get back from the walks😂 I don’t think a lot of people realise how much physical exercise their dog actually needs to stay fit and happy
A person cannot exhaust an extremely active dog through physical activity alone. You have to tire out the dog's brain.
@@Korrhane Yep! Throw in some obedience work on walks

'If the dog doesn't educate himself, unfortunately we will have to give him away....because we are incompetent and lazy owners"
Don't kid yourself, they clearly didn't properly research how to raise a dog like this and they were in the wrong but if that dog became a danger to the family it's the right choice to give it away.
Humans and your family need to always be held at higher value than pets and ironically enough not doing so is what plays a part in the pets picking up bad habits in the first place.
Lol 😂
@@ThatBugBehindYou give it away and never get another dog back you mean, otherwise, the story will repeat itself with many other dogs; some people should refrain from having dogs if they will insist on being lazy and remain ignorant.

Yes, but people will never simply do that, I imagine they'd just get a smaller dog and the dog would be terrible because of them but it wouldn't be able to cause the same amount of damage and while that isn't a good thing it's still better than this.

@@lulubebe3901 I've done my research pretty well. I think u need to get to know some new information. This is pretty ols school
@@liisa2077 old school works. you can be your dogs alpha without them fearing you, they simply understand that you are their leader and provider. Moreover, being your dogs alpha or leader also involves trust, as the dog has to trust you will provide and take of them. If you observe dogs playing socially you can literally see them looking for their place in the hierarchy. I'm not saying new information isn't valuable but completely dismissing the alpha theory as complete bs is nonsense lol
@@user-gp8rg6yg2c yeah but this alpha theory is old and untrue. Dog doesn't want to dominate. What would be the purpose of that. Most of the time when someone thinks they nees to dominate their dog but actually the dog is just scared, confused, doesn't know the rules etc. If you learn to read dogs body language it's pretty obvious.

It is shocking so many people have no clue what they are doing with their Dogs
I see it daily walking my Dog I see people being dragged by their Dog and rewarding bad behavior because they are just so clueless
Cesar has helped so many people over the years it’s amazing how much he has online for free basically and people just don’t even look anything up they just stumble through life being dragged by their dogs bit by their dogs having their food taken by their dogs
True that!
So true. I've had dogs all my life and have seen how they love you even more when you set rules and boundaries. They need that guidance.
So many people have kids and dogs who really shouldn't have kids or dogs. They just don't understand the responsibilities and commitment needed
I saw someone being dragged by a several month old Dobie pup down the sidewalk today - I called to her, "Why don't you lose the harness and get a martingale collar?" I explained that using a harness connected on top of the dog was like the pup was pulling a sled! She claimed the dog is fine and it was because she was wearing slippers and sliding along the sidewalk. Geez give me a break.
And then blame their dogs for the bad behavior

I remember my lab cross asserting herself against a very unruly, undisciplined staffy mix.
Just bated her teeth and the staffy got the message. The moronic owner, however, started shrieking the my dog was going to attack hers and got totally out of hand.
As usual it's the owner that's at fault. Whiskey understood boundaries when Caesar set them, he'd just never had any set before because the owner thinks rules are abuse and discipline is cruelty.

There is nothing in this clip to suggest her lifestyle doesn’t fit the breed. It only suggests and highlights the lack of proper knowledge/research on how to train the dog. She very well may be a good fit for this breed of the training aspect is addressed. She seems like she has the aspect of living with the dog dog, being willing to spend time with the dog, and involving the dog down. She was just completely naive on what she needed to do to train the dog.
Rubbish owners, to say you scared to walk your dog is just a lie lazy people say. She says she wanted an active dog but what she really wants is a dog that plays when they feel like it and then does nothing.

I do hope they got their V from a good breeder, because that breeder should have also been a resource for this behavior too. They can be great dogs but they need rules, boundaries, training, jobs, and exercise. Upside they are fixing this at the early years and can create long lasting structure. After they turn 1 they become little nightmares and want to test you, so you have to have these things in place. Things kinda calm down but I will tell you my 13 year old (before he passed) still played like a puppy, he just would tire out faster.
great work, I always love the take away message! Can you help me with my 5 month old pomeranian, she eats her own poop!!
Love Cesar 😊
I think, this is the wrong kind of dog for this family.
People do not take the time and effort to find out which dog would be
the best fit for them.
That dog needs a lot of exercise.
The Grandma seems to have some unrealistic expectations. Although, I fully understand her concerns regarding the children.
