    I just love the use of the old table for your pots and pans. It’s so cute, not to mention your racks for potholders and kitchen towels. Thank you for the tutorials. Have a bless day 🌻

    Hello! I just discovered your videos, and I think your use of scraps and "trash" is very good for the planet! Recycling is such a good way to make something out of trash. I enjoyed watching this video, and think your method for making knives is great! The aged cutting board is amazing, too! Thank you for sharing your talents! ~Janet in Canada

      Thank You So Much for watching! I got my start in dollhouses making furniture and accessories from everyday items so this is just my norm. Everything i see I consider what can I make from that? I guess this is RECYCLING, thank you for pointing that out!

    I love that you show how to make things out of scraps and trash. I know you like to make it easy for everyone to enjoy this hobby even if they dont have all the fancy gadgets and tools. My kids laugh when I stop to pick up bits of trash that I think might be useful for miniatures! Even my husband has shaken his head and laughed at me when I put the garbage out i the garbage can, only to pull out something I spot in there! But it's so much fun seeing what you can recycle things into!

      i do the exact same thing I see Miniatures in everything! Yes Nessie, in my early years as a miniaturists all I had was scraps, remnants and trash! Do'n't ever feel bad when they call your supplies trash! LOLOLOLOL!

    I remember reading something years ago about making serrated knives, like if you need a bread knife or set of steak knives. They used the metal strip that you find on some packages of foil, plastic wrap, parchment paper etc, those rolls with the metal tear strip. When it's empty, pull off that metal piece and you can use it for knife blades. Not all rolls have metal strips but some do

    • @littlegretchensworkshop7665
      @littlegretchensworkshop7665  2 роки тому +1

      THAT is a GREAT TIP! I never looked at those like that! They would be perfect for bread or steak knives! Excellent IDEA! Thank you!!!

      @@littlegretchensworkshop7665 I've also used that serrated strip to put a saw blade in a bow saw and a jack saw. Needed the saws to cut cordwood into stove lengths, don't you know? Also learned that I can use my little Fiskars craft scissors with the titanium blades to cut knife blades from the little metal containers that held burned up tea light candles. The same little containers are excellent and malleable-enough to make things like cheese graters, potato peelers, wrap handles for wire whisks, cooking pots...Easily scored with a stylus to make a groove around the middle for a water-bath canner, and you can also cut off the bottom and use a sheet of cork and a ball-peen hammer to make the domed canner lid. Use wire to make the jar rack. Use wet-dry sanding sheets to smooth the cut edges.

      @@littlegretchensworkshop7665 😆 Did you ever make dollhouse things as a kid? My sister and I made cardboard dollhouses! I SO wish I still had them. I remember painting curtains around the windows and painting tiles on the floor. We didn't have hot glue so I don't know how we managed it. I'd love to see them now.
