When you mentioned the idea of septims overencumbering you... In Daggerfall, the game that preceded Morrowind, money did have weight. You could easily get overencumbered by your gold. You would have to visit banks to deposit your gold into an account. You could then either withdraw it or take out a bank note that weighed little and could have an infinite amount of gold on it (but you had to pay a percentage of the gold to take the note out). I ran into an issue on my vampire character where my character and his wagon's carrying capacity were utterly filled with hundreds of thousands of gold. I desperately had to find a bank to deposit it in so I could keep adventuring and taking plunder and earning rewards. The only issue is that, as a vampire, my character took damage in sunlight... And banks were only open from 9 AM to 5 PM. The greatest blight this malformed and vicious creature of the night ran into was the operating hours of his local bank preventing him from making safe and conscious investments of his hard-earned gold.
Daggerfall is a really good game, a hidden gem I might even say. It's practically a fantasy life simulator, boasting a huge world, albeit relatively empty at times. I think for most it was always daunting, hard to get into and the bugs didn't make the experience any better. But I think with the Daggerfall Unity engine fixing most of the bugs and allowing better mod-support people should give Daggerfall another go. I have never liked Daggerfall more since I've been using the Unity engine, it makes the game a much smoother ride. But the Unity engine aside, original Daggerfall is, in my opinion, in a completely separate category than the rest of the ES games. Gold weight is just one of many things that makes Daggerfall a really unique Elder Scrolls experience. I think any Elder Scrolls fan should give it a go if they haven't already, they might end up taking a liking to it.
@@procerus4789 I first played Daggerfall after tes3-tes5, and I like it more than Skyrim. Beautiful game with so many fun mechanics and amazing main plot.

Jeremy Soule's music is just so incredible, I remember I could explore oblivion for hours just listening to the beautiful soundtrack, same with guild wars his music is awesome
how is it that when you guys play oblivion all the bugs and hilarious shit happen, meanwhile my oblivion tends to be pretty normal (outside of the goofy dialogue)
It is amazing watching you do these sinple quests, but you are so high level now that everything is a fight for your very lives. Also you guys had the Sheogorath spell that returns you to the shivering isles instead of dying.

Action figure Minotaur is one of my favorite types of glitch, the best is when an essential NPC walks around in the same position they went unconscious in
John Doe no that’s a lost cause I’m pretty sure. Having lots of saves was becoming the downfall of this let’s play. As everything became even more repetitive from the constant staggering in combat and the same haaaking and oooohing sounds as you’re staggering and taking (or doing) damage.
I'm not sure if this was the film Emmett is talking about, but I remember hearing a while ago that the ending of the 1972 Herzog film Aguirre the Wrath of God had to be completely rewritten because the director (Herzog) threw some of the screenplay out of a bus window - Wikipedia says this about it: "Herzog wrote the screenplay "in a frenzy", and completed it in two-and-a-half days. Much of the script was written during a 200-mile (320 km) bus trip with Herzog's football team. His teammates got drunk after winning a game and one of them vomited on several pages of Herzog's manuscript, which he immediately threw out the window. Herzog claims he cannot remember all of the things that he wrote on these pages."
The mechanic of money having weight in a game was implemented in TES 2: Daggerfall. You have to store money at a bank to be able to move, because the money you accumulate has a actual weight...
I have encountered more glitches than ever before in my most recent Oblivion playthrough. What a wonderfully broken game, when it isn't crashing, freezing, or loading poorly.
The adventures of Mac could be endless if they transfer their save to the PC, and play the plethora of quest mods that have been released over the years. Like the sequel mod to knights of the nine.

Did he ever consider using a spell of direct deposit?
