How to replace a radiator fan | Step-by-step instructions

I watched another video before I tried this myself and found out that the other video had completely unnecessary steps. Thankfully I figured it out before actually following their instruction. This video made sense. Took me only 15-20 minutes for my Nissan Sentra, and that included removing the old one.

I have 2015 Nissan Pathfinder and the radiator fan makes loud noise. I found two other UA-cam clips but didn't show how to put it back in. You show everything in detail. I will start working on mine this weekend as part had arrived from Amazon. Thank you.

touy0209 thank you, glad this helped you. It’s a bit fiddly getting it in and out and the radiator blades are sharp, but you can do it... and next time I would wear gloves!

Very good video.
Safety is important. Ensure the engine is cold to the touch before beginning. Maintain tool control, a small washer, bolt or screw can damage your engine if it falls into the wrong crevice. The magnetic holder is a good suggestion. Gloves might help prevent scratches and scrapes. Above all, be patient with this installation. Nothing is worse than a 20 minute job turning into rework or a major repair.

Thank you, just replaced mine. Took maybe 45 minutes, and a lot of that was finding the correct tools. Only thing different is I had torx screws holding the fan in, and I didn’t need to remove the top cover. 2013 Pathfinder.
