- This is the climb No Place Like Home 5.11c at Emerald City in Red River Gorge, KY.
With the amazing arete climbing and the top out past the chains, it has to be one of the best lines in all of the Red! It is also in one of the closest crags to Miguels Pizza. I hope you consider climbing it!
I sadly was unable to get video of climbing to the first bolt, since there was too much tree cover. But be ready to climb through a 5.6 flake to a very high first bolt.
Great to see someone climbing a route they haven't got totally wired!

Thanks! I tried it several seasons ago, but didn't remember much of the beta. I think its one of the best routes the red has to offer

@@LongBoy.0 if you’re offended by a drone, you’re the one with issues not me. Blindly following rules is what started ww2 and created the Covid chaos.
If you want to give me one reasonable explanation this guy shouldn’t film himself climbing with a drone I will stop jaywalking across streets forever.
@@Rafungilo at this crag its not much of an issue, but at popular crags its a really good way to get everyone to dislike you very quickly. imagine tryng your project and theres some goon going around with a drone buzzing everywhere. its plain annoying

good video; can you recommend a good place to stay around there. Most of the motels have bad reviews.
Miguel's Pizza is classic and they have cheap camp bedrooms if you're not into camping. If you want to avoid the noise, Hemlock Lodge has alright rooms/cottages.

I will say I got on this route last fall and it was quite underwhelming... close to miguels and a nice positon for sure, but the climbing really left something to be desired. Many many better routes in the red!!!
