Outstanding project, accomplishment, talent, production and narration. Thank you, Tyler, for bring us along and thank you also NPS for preserving a place like this so that it is not on "private property".
Incredible!! So flipping strong! The hard cut at the big dead point takes me out of the moment of pretending like it’s a raw send. Weird editing choice to show all the big long shakes like it’s an uncut video of the send then have such a hard cut. I mean I get it you gotta work with the footage available of previous attempts. There’s so much anticipation built up in the film about the move then bam two different attempts!
What was cut at 8:25? I do think you climbed it but the filming and editing is very SUS. You set up for the dyno with the draw unclipped then the frame changes to above and the draw is clipped. It didnt look like you were about to clip but instead go for the dyno. I would edit that part a bit to make it clear.
Yep. Wasn’t the send go as it’s pretty tough to always have someone recording. I think in the future I’ll include the date the video was taken and the date I sent to clear up any of that stuff!
@@TylerThompson-fo8dl I don’t know that dates are important per se. I don’t know you, but have no doubt you sent. More so just pointing it out as an inconsistency for future edits of other stuff. Keep cranking. 8c+ is no joke. 👍
Hey Tyler! Great video and climb! Congratz! Excuse me... how can i go to NRG to climb? I must go to Charleston and then go to Fayetteville? Sorry asking like this, if i can have your email it would be great!
How do people decide where to finish the climb on a FA. Looks like there’s a lot more holds/moves you could do to get to the top after the dyno? Genuinely curious
There’s actually an extension project that goes to the top of the wall. It looks pretty hard and I guess when Brian McCray bolted the project he thought that maybe having a lower anchor made sense. When working the route for the FA I chose to climb the route to the first set of anchors. I’d like to check out the top bit though!

spotted it as well. Maybe they couldnt get the send on tape but edited it to show us the route nonetheless
So awesome to see this happening in my own back yard! Awesome send, well done! Bonus for El Bandido.
That feeling when you drop the clip.
came for the Cirque, stayed for the hueco.
Sooo sick, amazing work on the film and the climbing! Beautiful moves, what a unique route!!
Great send! Keep em coming!
Been waiting since May for this!!! Let’s gooo
How did the black and blue BD draw clip itself in the first crux at the 8:24 minute mark???
That's such a great catch man... took me a second to realize lol
I subbed to you after that comment. Great stuff my dude
That's a very important part of this acsnend.... amazing climb nonetheless!!! 👏 👏 👏
Yeah i was wondering this too
most people don't have a film crew on hand for every climbing attempt they give. probably the video was made after the FA and is not the send go
Oh my goodness this is one of my favorite vids yet 🤩

I wanna eat some El Bandido.
I would preferred the all ascention without music, but it is indeed a great video.
