  • We started this journey with a big goal in mind: level up our climbing grades. This is our last chance to prove ourselves at The Red. Do we achieve what we set out to do? Or do we fall short?

Our truck is a 2009 GMC Savana G3500 cut-away with a 12 ft box. We converted it into our tiny home on wheels and moved in May 2021 to travel North America for rock climbing, hiking, and outdoor adventures.

Thank you! Life is good and busy. We sometimes wish we had more time for other things (like UA-cam) but then this is just another chapter of life. We're still thinking a lot about our adventures with the van and all the amazing people we've either met online or in person.

Thank you for your post! I was missing you guys a little bit but now I understand why! Even I am not in rock climbing, your shoots are still nice and interesting, in my mind I am with you, call it 'desk rock climbing". The most thing I appreciate from your video's is your honesty about the van life experience in total, the ups & downs. I watch several channels and many only show the shiny/glamorous side of van life, the scenery, great food and unique experiences. Not many tap into the daily pressure of doing the daily chores, driving boring routes, find your overnight spots, missing often company around, etc, you guys do and I appreciate that! Please keep posting, even we all understand that it won't be that frequently but I am very interested to see, how you will adapt back to "normal" life, after being living in the van so long! Greetings from a 'desk top climber' in Singapore!

Hey you 2, good to see you again! I never was a climber, I was interested in you both for a different reason. I'm 1/2 German and My ex GF Hong is a Korean immigrant. I was so Happy to see that you and Moritz have such a nice smooth relationship when ours was always a problem because I tried to make her happy but her thoughts and mannerisms came from a place I had never been to. That was a real cool old tunnel, the broken clear cover should probably be removable and your blizzard light will still work. They put those lights on top of school buses and other trucks to use on really crappy days when the weather is so bad you can't see something 100 feet in front of you. I do hope that you reaching your goals will not be the end of your channel Sachico & Moritz because you have thousands of new friends that are interested in you both. When you both get back to Toronto you can finally clean out that old bucket and give it a rest, unless you decide to keep living in the truck?????? P.S. You drop on peoples lists when downloads slow down so keep on truckin' or downloading if you both can!!!

Hey we'd love to pick you up on that invitation! Maybe we go climbing in west Virginia, then we can meet up on the way.

Any hike in particular you’d like to make in Virginia? Old Rag is pretty popular but if we go midweek we wouldn’t find too much traffic. Or we could hike to climbing spots. It’s up to you.

Everyone needs a break every now and then.
I was wondering how tall is your rig?
    Always a thumbs up 👍

Hey happy to see you still stick around. The truck is about 10.5 feet or a little under 3.5 m.

@@RoadtoPitches ouch, my van is 10'6".
I didn't think it is as tall as your truck.

Hey thanks for asking. Life took a bit of a turn and we're currently back in stationary 9-5 work life. We still have some footage we want to release, but it's hard to find the time or motivation.
Maybe we can get back to it when the summer is over and there's more time to do the video editing.

I have an idea for something you could do, start a new van build. Figure out everything you like and dislike about your previous build and how to reduce your overall expenses. Sell your first build to finance the second.

Hey thanks for checking in with us. Yeah it's been a tough transition back to full time working at a desk. We'd still love to create another video with all our thoughts on the past year but that might have to wait for winter days when there's more time for edit days.
We've done a few short trips since we got back but noting really fancy. Mostly just hanging out with friends and family which is also really nice.

Hey, you don’t need to go rock climbing to make a van life video. Go on a weekend trip to some place awesome.

We're still hoping to publish some more content this winter when we have a bit more time. The summer was busy with family and friends. But we do have more footage that wants to be released😂
