What a nice series to watch. For the purpose of Villageplaning, you may give attention to the picture of the Workers once you are opening the little Buildingscreen of any Workingbuilding. There are little colored Dots in the top left Corner of each working Citizen. Green and all is ok, the Worker lives close by and dont need much Time to reach his workplace. Yellow is in the middle and Red means the worker is unproductive because he needs to much time to reach his Workplace. You can use the little "Manage Workers" Sign to get more information and managment Options.
I literally rewind & paused to see the dots....Very perceptive.🥳. Thanks for sharing that. I'm thinking to purchase the game by the end of the year. So this Playlist is really nice to just relax, view&listen to the gameplay. 😊 It's actually the first set of videos from this channel I've watched. I like his videos.
I have been LOVING watching you play this, Penge~!! Your videos never fail to put a huge smile on my face, but this one in particular is really grabbing me by the shoulders. Lol
I'm delighted that you're enjoying them! Hopefully the video is grabbing you by the shoulders in a nice way, like it's preparing for a hug, rather than a sort of aggressive fighty kind of grab.
I am really enjoying this series! I did think adding another stonemason when you had no stone coming in was a bit of an unhinged move, but it seems to have worked somehow so I can't complain lmao
That comment re: garden size was mine. I also like the bigger gardens but I thought you'd said something about it having to be 6 squares at one point. Also possible I'm going mad. ;) Was trying to be helpful, really. :D Besides, those peasants need the extra space for all of their filthy children. "Oh, what a giveaway. Did you hear that?"
Penge, Nice play through. As you built a granary and stock pile at the bottom next to the houses, shouldn’t you untick storing it in the other locations … so it all is stored where you want it? Bought the game but on holiday for another day before I can play it.
I have a feeling once you build your town area you will get what is needed to build for the second date. Maybe. As town commoners the do different jobs then your peasants fables.
Wouldn't it be more efficient and effective to put the stone cutter next to the quarry and the new stone stockpile? Not sure if there was another reason why you wanted it where it is, apologies if I have missed something
... yes, yes that would have been exceedingly more efficient. My excuse is... er... oh look over there, a swan! **points and then runs away when you're not looking**
Might sound dumb, but could the colors of the flowers have blended in with the trees during the winter and that's why they looked so pretty? Would explain why Bob the Tree didn't get any coloration. He was too far from the flowers.
The whole game was awash with green for all shadows and snow unlike what it should be which is grayed blues. Now it appears to have gotten even worse. Look at the mill for instance with a white building and blades, then turn the screen and the whole thing goes green. This happens across the whole screen since the green is shadow. The creator must be shade blind and sees green as blue. And the green (thalo or viridian pigment to be exact if it was paint) is especially offensive. Yeh, either blue shade blind or their monitor needs calibrating. Edit: Looking again.... if the whole pallet was unrealistic (abstract) it would be fine but realistic color is being mixed with super unrealistic green shadowing and its just awful.
@@TheGeekCupboard Thanks. I hope they listen. You might pass on that what they need to do is decrease the cyan in shadow color choice which is done by increasing magenta. If you don't already know, those are the names of computer or light "pigments."
Yeah. That looks like my old sims 2 game did just before my old lappy's vidcard died. Doesn't look right at all. ETA: I think it may have something to do with the light dispersal form the "sparkles" in the snow, as well, because even when it was back to normal, to my eye they were not reflecting properly. I might be completely wrong, though. :)

Looking forward to you setting up the new part of the town
Love your series!! It's been something I look forward to during the week.
I'm really enjoying this play through.
It's really enjoyable to play, I'm glad that seems to be coming across in the videos!

Also that quarry is extra adorable.
"Oh! Come and see the violence inherent in the system! Help! Help! I'm being repressed!"
@@TheGeekCupboard /whoops in Australian old person/ :D
“Aww Bob looks like a completely normal tree”. Except he has a face… otherwise totally normal … 😂
Wait. Don't the trees where you live have faces? It's pretty common round here...
@@TheGeekCupboard you’ve been at the special biscuits, Penge!
Ssshhh! Don't say it out loud or everyone will want some!

I think that, plus getting to 'Small Town' status or whatever the next settlement size was, will hopefully let us move things on a bit with Agnes.
Hey Penge. Dont you think that your fields are to big. People cant work them. Most is unused

@@TheGeekCupboard😂 I see squirrels ALL the time...
We see a lot of squirrels, we back onto a park so they're often in the garden just scampering around! So many squirrels.

**shrugs** Maybe? I genuinely have no idea! It did look very exciting though but alas it didn't last very long as the trees soon became snowy.
@@TheGeekCupboard True. It was very pretty.
My bakery is broken 😫 also I'm wondering what happens when we run out of stones....
Have you tried turning it off and on again?
Yup. He has one flour in store and won't get more
I will see how it goes when I pop back on.

That might be worth feeding back to the developers. I'll pass it on to them on Discord.
