I sincerely hope they flesh out a dating sim aspect. I mean, c'mon, mixing city builders AND dating sims with Stardew levels of lovable and interesting NPCs? That is a _genius_ concept. Imagining getting a heart event when wooing your NPC of choice OR an equivalent of that when antagonizing them? And all of that on top of a solid and beautiful city builder. So many possibilities, fingers crossed they go that way.
There’s a game called lakeburg legacy which is basically a dating sim and rts mixed. It looks pretty good and it’s also a pretty new game, and I’m not sure if it’s out yet.
As a man who has dated a woman, I can confirm that, while she was thoroughly impressed with the amount of food and botanical decor I provided to her, I was sorely disappointed with her lack of money and her aversion to giving me any and all of the winnings she might have made had she been open to gambling her money in the first place.
Loved Foundation, just wished the game had more balanced events, since sometimes the happiness / cost of food weekly made it a vicious spiral all because we hosted a fair, that and the paths had many different tiers to unlock, but because of the way they did the different "factions" you kinda had to focus one, get it maxed, then work on the next one
