    This is by far the best combination instructional video I’ve ever seen. This one took out all of the complications one may see on the dance floor. As I’ve been a breakdancer, salsa, and bachata. In dallas I leaned the two hop one step for years. With some salsa turns sprinkled in there. Always wanted to learn the proper way to dance. The hopping makes your calves sore real fast. This way plus the variation of turns out of all the videos I have watched of you two this one is the best.

    This is an amazing concept and wonderful memory aid. This idea may also be fused with nightclub 2step by converting the 2nd slow to half a basic. Worth experimenting with. Thank you so much.

    Anthony - have you thought about doing a video for dance instructors? We are starting a couples dance class and could use some guidance. Even though we know the dances, Two Step, Swing, cha and so on. What about teaching a group?

      Hi there. Currently, we do A LOT of private coaching of instructors and studio owners via zoom. Without revealing too much, we are currently working towards something to help 😜 Stay tuned

    I like it! Once these are understood, this is all a great foundation for other "stuff".
    Question: How important is it for a guy to dance within the ability of his partner? What are the factors to consider? (by the way... when I dance with a more advanced lady, I totally concentrate on my "lead")

    • @countrydancex
      @countrydancex  4 роки тому +2

      Shouldn't you always focus on your lead regardless of your partner's level? ;-)
      I would say that, as a leader, you dance FOR the follower. Dance to the level of their capabilities. Comfortable and achieved always beats tricky and almost.

    Hi I and my girlfriend have watched your instructions for a while we consider ourselves above average dancers. Question do you two talk during a travel around the dance floor??? I cannot figure out how to hand signal my partner to do a specific move. The anticipation on her part makes it hard to stop or continue a move.
    Can you please advise???
    We love your instructions.
    Btw have you published anything lately???

      Hi there! We do sometimes carry on conversations… but don’t lead/follow through verbal instructions :-) It would be hard to help you here in the comments, though.
      We have published a few videos lately… but are excited about our new dance reality series that premieres tomorrow here on the channel.

    Brand new to your videos watching a few this morning. really like your videos until this one. Difficult to hear and follow your conversation with the same four beats of music playing.
