1989 was a good year for Mustangs, and this one has only gotten better since then. It has a 5 lug conversion and 17" SVT Cobra wheels. The interior has remained stock besides a Tachometer on the dash, both power windows work, and all of the upholstery is in good shape. Glossy black paint coats the exterior from all angles and shows off the Cobra rear bumper, cowl induction hood, and Stalker front clip. An Eibach Sportline suspension allows the perfect stance and the Cobra big brake kit brings this Fox to a stop in a hurry. Under the hood lies the glory. The 5.0L V8 has been tricked out with Aluminum heads, Comp Cam roller rockers, a cold air intake, and stainless headers. A fresh oil change and race plugs have this Mustang ready for the street or strip. The battery has been relocated to the hatch and all of the fender wells have been shaved smooth and painted gloss black to match the car. All of the wiring that clutters up an engine bay has been hidden under the fenders which really gives it a clean show car look. An aluminum radiator with dual electric fans and a thermostatic switch keeps the engine temp down. The A/C system is all new from top to bottom to keep you cool... as if this car doesn't make you cool enough. Financing is available and trades are welcome, so call or click before it's too late!
Anyone know about the close ratio 5 speeds supposedly in the Saleens?
What was the gearspread...what mfr did he get them from?
Always thought the close ratio 5spd and 3.55 would be perfect for these cars, only found out yesterday Saleen actually offered them later in the 80s.
That low 1st gear and tall fwy gear...hated it.
Clean car in n out.
Id ditch the 80s tach on the dash and either fab a box so the intake gets cold air again or put the stock one back on. Hood looks nice and subtle
Never understood a tall chevy cowl hood on these esp with no air filter to take advantage of
Love to have another now that Im not working no more .
The 4 eyed stangs were the cars that put Flowmaster on the map.
Dynomax ultraflows would sound wicked on a 302.
I wish I could buy it
That was a great car!
Oh man, what a Foxy Lady! I'm a bit late! Lol Anyway, great Job brother, I'll have me a Fox Body one day!
We've got an 82 and a 90 on www.i95muscle.com right now
I wonder which gray that interior is. I have an 89 as well. But my interior needs a touch up. Sadly the sticker in the door is gone so i dont know the paint code. This looks super clean.
I just bought a 91 GT. I really like your tires and wheels, can share the specs? Thanks!
My car is nearly identical. I kept my cheese graters too lol.
Sounds awesome. Looks great. Love it.
Only problem is besides money is its a manual transmission. For racing it's perfect.
Still plenty of clean auto 5.0s out there just have to be patient and find one that hasnt been messed with. Usually cheaper than sticks anyways
Sharp azz Foxx Body sir
TYTYTY
@@I95Muscle I have a 92 GT Black , Grey Leather interior. 5 speed Foxx Body bought it new in 1992 and still have it. GT-FRESH i love it
