Me and my Son saw him in concert in North Myrtle Beach back in 2003. After the concert, we waited out back of the venue till he came out. Another gentleman was with him as he exited the venue. We approached him and asked if he would sign an autograph for us. He was very nice and not only signed us a very nice autograph, but the gentleman that was with him took a really nice picture of us together. I have the picture, autograph and ticket stub nicely framed and on my wall. It's been there for these last 21 years.

The only down side was how seldom they had Gomer sing. And Rafe Hollister--could you imagine having those two do a lot more music together? But they only rarely had Gomer sing and Rafe just a time or two.

Jim Nabors had a outstanding set of pipes. He could sing in all languages. He was gived such a beautiful instrument, his voice. I still have many of his early records, that were recorded on vinyl. He was truly "blessed" with that voice. He will be truly missed by many. A very talented individual, that sing, dance, comedy, anything that he put his mind to, accomplishments. Well done, Mr Nabors.
