Ordered one...after 7 year of its release date. Nektar still updating its firmware, so I feel comfortable to go ahead with the purchase. Fingers crossed.
Hi there, I got a question on the Panorama P1! Lets say I have both P1 and "ANY" MIDI keyboard hooked up to Logic X and an instance of Alchemy on a MIDI channel. Can I play the keys on "ANY" MIDI keyboard(m-audio, novation, nectar impact GX, etc) while tweaking knobs, faders and browsing the VST's sounds/patches?
As soon as I get this I'm making a max for live sequencer where you can use this as an 8 stepper or junction it with a few to make step sequencers, using the knobs to control pitch and buttons for on off
I hear you but there is Bank forward & Bank backward buttons (located just below the screen) that will move the tracks on your DAW to assign to the faders on the hardware.
I'm just going to assume that the integration with Reason will still be top notch. I may purchase this, but I was really hoping for a controller with 25 keys....
Wow, this is very interesting, I'm in the market for a new controller surface, as a Cubase user I was leaning towards a selection of the official Steinberg CC controllers but to get that setup configured the way I want would cost me over £500... Hence this shiny little box looks very interesting if it's going at around £220...Hmm, decisions :)
No motorfaders? Is this real?! So, I think the Behringer BCF2000 seems to have it all then...! Too pitty, BCF2000 its a discontinued product as I have seen in the internet (but is it true about that?!)
quinn baillie Hey, have you been able to find the answer? I ,too, use MIxcraft and Cubase ...and Audacity. Looking for a control surface, myself. Thanks!
ua-cam.com/users/clipUgkxTIArMwwyipdkfpNkclNgXf2LoUfBChA7 Up to this day in July 2023, to my knowledge the Nektar P1 is still the only hardware midi controller which by default has a encoder knob (The upper left) to adjust the tempo in Cubase Pro 12 and previous versions! Can the Steinberg CC 121 or CC series do this too?
Well having 8 sliders to control a mixer would be great for anyone who only has 8 channels in their projects. Which would be nobody. When are these manufacturers going to get their acts together, and actually make a useful product?
You need to hire someone who knows how to use a camera so that the pertinent and salient images are coordinated with what is being discussed. This is such a wasted opportunity.
Great love the fact that people are realizing that Cubase is still the best DAW and they are now creating useful tools for Cubase as opposed to other DAWS. Yeah I am bias towards Cubase as I have used it for 13 years, and I agree its down to personnel preference but im sick of all these new gadgets been for ableton, logic, & pro tools. Im buying one of these bad boys FACT!!!
Good instruction -- horrible video editing. There is a camera set up recording where we can see what he is doing, as well as a recording of the screen. It would've been best to show the controller and his hand movements along with the screen, than the jerky camera showing him. I am not watching the video to see the man. I am watching to see the controller working with Cubase -- RECOMMEND, go back to the raw footage and redo this video.
I wish I could actually see what was happening on the controller..

why is this guy whispering? does he not want us to know what it does or what?
+Mathias Hoho The P4 and P6 has a motorized fader that is assigned to the
mixer channel your current instrument is on.. its pretty useful!

thinking of getting this for cubase, would this be good for vsts like sylenth, predator, massive?
can specific maps (or tweaks) saved with my cubase songs? or are they global to Panorama.
terrible video angles ^ what about as a soft/hardware synth controller ?
As soon as I get this I'm making a max for live sequencer where you can use this as an 8 stepper or junction it with a few to make step sequencers, using the knobs to control pitch and buttons for on off
Hi, so how well has this controller been mapped for FL Studio 11 by the people from imageline?
I hear you but there is Bank forward & Bank backward buttons (located just below the screen) that will move the tracks on your DAW to assign to the faders on the hardware.
can any for sure tell me that this unit works with Nuendo and its plugins? I want to buy one! thank you!
Nice piece of kit.
can u use 3 thes at ones in cubase
Does it support Ableton Live mappings or is it Cubase/Bitwig exclusive?
Please show the GUI what can I see on the GUI??????
no, the p4 p6 are for use with reason 5+ and cubase.. the firmware has been updated.
Cheers guys

Samplitude Pro X?!!
Needs a better mic. But some good points. Remember this only replaces the mouse.

The selling point for this is it is the only dedicated control for use with Reason. Shame there showing it with Cubase..
How can I assign the 9 faders if I have 50 tracks please?
Slide the fader assignment with the bank buttons
@@johnsuggs3952 Thanks bro, I just bought Faderport 8 and figured it out in it :) cheers
No sounds??
Doesn't have support for Ableton?
Big Mistake

I slept well.
Is this guy danish?
no gui it controls what ever daw you use i have the p4 its fantastic with reason 6
the single motorized fader is pointless
Can't see what is happening, can't hear what the dude is saying. Proper job.
a decent look at the actual controller would have been nice.
So no motorized faders -.-
Not at this price point..
no motorized faders no point having it imo
@@chrisdekopoore8483 it does more than just channel strips though, I wouldn't be without it now fantastic controller.
make it work with Reaper !
man why don't they just put another 2 rows of buttons for mute / solo / arm. anyway, good controllers = so fucking hard to find!!
a 25" demo is fine, a lot of different things.........but with always the camera at 2 meters , it's a shame
Would be good if the FM guys were given a little camera training.. Some of those cutaway shots were pretty useless
No motor-faders? :(
Come on... Even the cheap Behringer-Controllers have motor-faders.
If it had some, this thing would be perfect.
$299 U.S. street price?? Cocaine is a hell of a drug !
well it's 8 sliders but you can switch the banks aswell, quite convienient, if you know your studio shit!!!!
not if you're sending midi to an analog device

You can switch banks...
Looks very convoluted and time consuming
kool tool, but sad - no motorfaders.

we do not nothing I he he is teaching to his fiend on cam

lets make this verry nice controller and fuck with ppl and not use motorized faders
