My cat absolutely loves this thing, but I consider it more of a massager than a proper brush. You're right, there's tons of scattered hair everywhere afterwards. I just have to deal with it in order to keep her happy.

I knew after we saw the Supermodel Murphy we'd be seeing the world best cat Caymus! Oh I saw the plushest looking wild bunny yesterday! It was so puffy and cute I though of the cats the moment I saw it! I watched it eat and groom for like 20 minutes.
Thank you for your opinion of the product. I certainly wasn't prepared to spend that much money on a product until I spoke with someone who had used it. Since Koko doesn't really like to be brushed very much, he more then likely wouldn't like something that felt uncomfortable to him.

I got that info I promised I'd get you. The $50 grooming tool is called the FURminator. You buy them specific to your animal. For ragdolls, you would buy the one for large, long-haired cats. They also have them for dogs & even horses. If you Google FURminator, it's easy to find.
